HP: White Lord of Slytherin

Chapter 101 Weasley New Products

"Fred and George sold me some candy, saying that eating it would help me relax and not get nervous. The get out of class was almost over and my potion wasn't working yet, so I ate the candy to give it a try. I did feel relaxed, but soon... you know, I relaxed too much."

Only after Professor Snape left with the potion did the student tell the truth.

Ron forgot about his unhappiness in class and said in astonishment, "How dare you eat their food? Even I am their brother and I don't dare to eat it!"

"I bought it with my own money—" the classmate said, spreading his hands.

Ron was speechless, "Uh... I'm too much to treat you like this even though I'm paying you."

"The points have already been deducted." Harry consoled, "I'll go with you to talk to them about the situation."

Hermione kept frowning, "Fred and George must return all the money, this is obviously a side effect!"

The other Gryffindor students stood up and were about to take the unlucky guy to find someone, but when they turned around, they saw Gloria sitting at the table. She was the only Slytherin student still there.

The other students left first tacitly, knowing who she was looking for.

"Don't tell me you want to apologize for Malfoy," said Ron, scowling.

Gloria asked back: "Do you think I would do that?"

Ron was silent...

"Gloria, thank you for blocking those Dementors." Harry had wanted to thank her for a long time, but he couldn't find a chance, and he didn't want to conflict with Malfoy in public.

"I just don't want what happened on the train to happen again." Gloria said, looking at Ron. "I'm just saying that I'll let you wash your clothes yourself. Don't worry."

Ron breathed a sigh of relief, having already thought of how to add some 'additional touches' to Malfoy's uniform.

Hermione sighed, "That's great, I can have some peace and quiet."

"Harry, has anything else strange happened since the last incident?" Gloria asked him.

Harry shook his head, "Nothing much, Percy watched over me whenever he could, and the other professors kept an eye on me too, nothing wrong happened."

"That's good. Headmaster Dumbledore also said that he would protect you well." Gloria got down from the table. "Although the Dementors have been kept outside, you still have to be careful. They like you very much."

Harry felt a little depressed. "Because... I'm too weak?" It was difficult for him to say this.

"No." Gloria rejected this idea firmly, "Because you are in pain inside. Dementors like to suck happiness and stimulate people's pain. The deeper the pain, the more it overflows. Dementors are products of magic, not creatures. They are born in pain."

Suddenly, Hermione and Ron looked at Harry with eyes full of heartache.

"I understand. Thank you, Gloria. I always thought I was too..."

Harry had been struggling for a long time over his fainting on the train, and he felt much better after hearing this answer.

"It's nothing. Fortunately, the Dementors left after you fainted." Gloria felt that she acted just in time.

"It was Professor Lupin," Hermione said. "After Harry fainted, Professor Lupin released a very strange magic, and then the whole train was filled with strange noises. The Dementors looked very... scared, and quickly left the train."

It turns out that Professor Lupin did take action, but he was still very weak at that time.

"Well..." Gloria avoided talking about the strange sound coming out of her mouth, "Since Professor Lupin knows the Patronus Charm, Harry, you can try to learn from him and overcome your fear."

"Patronus?" It was the first time Ron had heard the word.

"A spell that can expel Dementors." Gloria patted her school robes. "You can ask Professor Lupin for details. Ron, when you see your two brothers, tell them that I am curious about their new products. Hermione, take a good rest."

What the Weasley twins sold to the student today was definitely not a mature product, and the side effects were very obvious.

Not long after Gloria walked out of the classroom, she met the Weasley twins on the first floor. The two brothers, whose hair was longer than last year, were in a good mood and their eyes lit up when they saw her coming.

Fred was the first to greet, "Gloria."

George continued, "We have a new product recently, and it will be available to you later."

Fred: "You'll never guess what it does!"

"I know." Gloria said calmly, "You sold it to a third-year Gryffindor student. He ate the product in Potions class and laughed for two minutes. Professor Snape deducted twenty points from his score."

Fred frowned. "Oh - bad timing for him."

George: “We didn’t expect him to eat in class.”

Gloria asked, "How much did it sell for? He plans to ask you for a refund."

Fred had a smirk on his face, "I didn't think it was a complete product at the time. I sold it for three silver Sickles, but it was worth it. He let us know other ways to sell this product."

George understood immediately, "Great for pranks. Can't stop laughing."

The twins high-fived excitedly, as if they had found the way to get rich.

Fred took out a few pieces from his pocket. The wrapping paper was exactly the one that Professor Snape had examined in the Potions class. "Looks like there's no need to improve it for you. Take it. It's a new product, the Laughing Candy. Just feed it to whoever you want to fool."

George: "Better not feed it to the Gryffindors, we've already lost twenty points."

"Correction, it's 70 points." Gloria opened the wrapper, revealing a soft light blue candy. "Ron was deducted 50 points. It looks like Gryffindor has no hope of winning the House Cup this year."

"Little Ronnie—"

"He has more points deducted than us. He is indeed our younger brother."

Gloria sniffed the candy, then rewrapped it and put it away. "Very smart, you used the bubbles of the Swollen Neck Beast. I wish you a big sale. It looks like you will have a chance to use the discount coupons this school year. Just a reminder, the year you use the discount coupons, you will buy the latest model of brooms for that year."

The Weasley twins were shocked by the news and they both patted Gloria on the shoulders.

Fred: "Thank you so much, Gloria! We can borrow a broom from the school, so it doesn't matter if we put it off until next year!"

George: "I can't bear to use these two coupons--"

They were happy for not long when they felt a force coming from behind them, and the two who were not paying attention were pushed and staggered.

"Don't touch Lori!"

Draco's pale cheeks turned red with anger, his gray-blue eyes deepened, and he had already hugged Gloria.

Fred tilted his head with a wicked smile, "It's you, blond kid. Gloria is good in every way, except for one thing that's a pity."

George pushed his red hair back, "That means being in love with you."

"Hey!" Gloria said, "Don't say that."

The two brothers shrugged and Fred chuckled as he walked past them, "Be careful blond kid, there are quite a few people in our college planning to write love letters to Gloria next Valentine's Day."

George: “We are happy to provide all the help we can to our classmates on this matter.”

The tall red-haired brother soon disappeared, and Draco's expression immediately became aggrieved.

"Don't listen to their nonsense." Gloria raised her hand and stroked his cheek. "Next year, if there are love letters delivered to me, you will handle them all. I won't even look at them."

Draco was finally satisfied, "Really? Then I'll burn them all!"
