Maze Fan: I opened a buffet in the maze

The blade light burst into a silver-blue light! The huge bat-winged monster that swooped down from the top of his head was slashed by Fan Wei's blade, and fine ice cones pierced through his body, screaming and falling.

But this was just one of many circling monsters, and more demonic monkey-like winged creatures swooped down.

Fan Wei kept swinging his knife, injuring or forcing back these uninvited guests. He and Kanisa happened to pass by this place on their way, but because of the girl's huge size, she was discovered by the monster who was just standing guard at a glance.

Unlike those larger creatures, this is a highly connected community that even displays considerable intelligence.

They will attack in batches in different directions, and they will cooperate with each other in different abilities! They will trap the two of them here and consume them bit by bit.

"Boss, let me charge forward one more time!"

Kanisa waved a huge bone stick she had picked up to prevent the monsters from approaching. If she was lucky, she could even draw one and reduce the pressure on Fan Wei.

"Wait a minute, I'm looking for something."

While attacking defensively, Fan Wei's eyes were searching for something. He was looking for evidence to support his judgment that this was also an attached ecology formed by the radiation of power.

The species produced through mutations are unlikely to form stable communities.

So either there is some degree of error in the inference, or there is a 'mother' among this group of monsters that plays a reproductive role!

After observing for a while, Fan Wei suddenly locked onto a small cave that was inconspicuous in appearance but quite different from the surrounding environment. He rushed over with his feet crossed, immediately causing a strong reaction from the group of monsters.

"Disperse!" A violent storm of sword light suddenly burst out and spread in all directions.

A large number of monsters were screaming and being injured. Fan Wei jumped into the cave in one breath and was immediately shocked by the scene in front of him. Behind the narrow cave entrance was a large space.

The ground formed by the corpses was covered with flesh cocoons half a person's height.

In the very center is a tumorous creature as big as a small car. Apart from its highly mutated body, all that remains is a head with mixed facial features, which is actually a human face!

"Humanity?!"

Although he had seen humanoid figures among the corpses on the ground, Fan Wei was still shocked when he saw with his own eyes a monster that seemed to be a mutated human.

"Woooooooooooo!!" the tumor with a deformed head made an inarticulate sound.

"Wooooooooo..."

It was no longer possible to communicate with words. When it discovered Fan Wei's presence, it could only wail at the top of its lungs, its lump-like body squirming in an irregular pattern, expelling wet and sticky lumps of flesh.

It's those lumps of flesh that sprout blood vessels and grow into cocoons on the ground where embryos develop.

Fan Wei couldn't bear the disgusting and ethically disturbing scene. Although he couldn't understand any syllables, he suddenly understood the meaning of the tumor wound on the human head.

The knife pierced through the head, and the blade burning with golden flames swung out an outline, splitting the entire tumor in half.

The undeveloped embryo fell like a chicken egg in the belly. Amid the screams of the monsters behind him, the sun god fire burned everything, and Fan Wei turned into a flickering human figure.

The sword flashed everywhere, sending away the monsters that were not in human form one by one.

After more than ten minutes, the killing stopped, and hundreds of monsters and their mothers were slaughtered completely.

After putting away his knife and looking back, Fan Wei finally discovered that the biggest difference between these monsters was that they had souls...Except for demons, all intelligent creatures had souls.

In other words, these monsters might be considered part of the human race.

"Let's move forward." The injured Kanisa's body was repaired. This body, which was molded with the original alchemy, was maintained by alchemical energy.

It can be regarded as a flesh and blood mecha with a head.

Except for the lack of growth potential and the inability to exist for long, everything else is very convenient.

"Boss, do you want to take a break?" Kanisa suggested, noting that Fan Wei looked very exhausted.

Fan Wei shook his head, "It doesn't matter, we're almost there."

The black circular "eye" was already very close. Looking sideways, the huge black base was vaguely visible on the dark red "ceiling", and with the occasional flash of strong light, a clear glimpse was revealed.

This is one of the six pillars that hold the maze in place! Fan Wei is completely sure.

Many speculations emerged in my mind. At this moment, a red light suddenly appeared in the distant sky, and many small black dots fell down, causing a faint roar.

Those who were left behind were... people?!

"Let's go, Kanisha, let's go and take a look!" Changing direction, Fan Wei and the muscular girl ran across the dark red ground, fearing that if they were too late, only bones would be left.

The truth has become somewhat clear.

At least we know that the food source of the monsters here is probably from "falling from the sky"!
