Harry Potter: Glory Bows to Me
Chapter 387 Entering Luna and Hermione's Fantasy World
Neville hesitated, but nodded slowly: "That's St. Mungo's...my mother's ward."
When he said this, his eyes fell to the ground and his voice was slightly hoarse, as if he was trying hard to suppress some emotion.
"She didn't recognize me at all. She kept shouting, saying I was some Death Eater's child, and even threw pillows and empty medicine bottles at me... I didn't know what to do. I was... I even thought, just let her be like that, I'm going to leave." He said this with a self-deprecating laugh, "Then the nurse came in and advised me not to provoke her, but when she turned around... it was Bellatrix's face."
Amanta's eyebrows jumped: "Bella?"
"Yeah," Neville nodded, his face pale. "I stepped back immediately, and the nurse even smiled, exactly the same smile she had in the newspapers when she was on trial. I almost lost my balance... But it was at that moment that I suddenly realized that this was not reality."
He looked up at her, his eyes full of complexity.
"My mother hasn't yelled like that in years. Every time she sees me, she just smiles foolishly and gives me a candy from the drawer. And the nurses at St. Mungo's, I've memorized what every one of them looks like."
"How did you do it?" Amanta asked.
"I... I took out my wand and yelled at her—'I'm not afraid of you anymore.'" he murmured. "I used to be afraid of her... the person who made Mom become what she is now. But I'm not afraid anymore. This is an illusion. She can't hurt anyone anymore."
"and then?"
"Then the whole room cracked like broken glass... and here I was."
"Well done." Amanta said seriously.
She knew that Neville's bravery was not in his vigorous rush to the front, but in his tenacity.
Neville scratched his head and smiled sheepishly.
Amanta looked at the pool of blood again, her eyes darkening a little.
"This door...it seems to use emotions as a medium to create illusions. Each person's illusion is related to their inner weaknesses."
"Then how are we going to save them?" Neville asked worriedly, "Can't we just go in?"
"No," Julius finally spoke, his tone steady and unhurried. "Forcibly intervening in someone else's illusion will only cause the illusion's owner to suffer a mental breakdown, or even become completely lost."
"We can't wait too long," Amanta said solemnly, "the longer they wait, the more confused their minds will become."
Her mind quickly recalled the moment when the illusion just collapsed.
That tingle, that resonance.
She slowly raised her right hand.
The blood vessels under the skin are faintly visible in the reflection of the blood pool.
"Maybe we can interfere with the illusion from the outside and make them wake up on their own." Amanta spoke faster unconsciously when she said this idea.
"You mean, by changing the elements within the illusion?" Julius raised an eyebrow, a hint of interest in his tone.
"Yes." She nodded. "It's not about actually entering their illusion, but using the Blood Gate as a medium to create a hint of connection with the illusion."
Neville was completely confused.
"Like what?"
"For example, place some items in their fantasy world that can bring them back to reality."
"……what?"
Amanta ignored his confusion, but stretched out her right hand, pointed it at the center of the blood pool, and began to chant a complex spell, an ancient blood resonance spell.
A light red light flowed in her palm.
The next moment, a circle of blurry ripples appeared above the blood pool, and a transparent illusion projection slowly unfolded.
It's Luna.
She stood alone in a strange round house, its walls covered with newspaper clippings and sketches of bizarre creatures. Her father stood before her, a stern-looking man in a black robe.
"You killed your mother and all your friends," the father in the illusion said coldly, "You are a disgrace, Luna."
"We can't let her dwell on this for long," Amanta whispered.
"I'll do it." Neville volunteered.
He took out a peculiarly shaped ring from his arms. It was a gift from Luna to him at Christmas, a magical ornament that could turn into a wind chime.
"I let it fly in and she recognized it."
Amanta nodded, assisted Neville in attaching the ring to a ball of magic, and carefully sent it into the illusion.
They held their breath.
Luna was about to lower her head when she was attracted by the jingling sound of the ring.
She looked at the small wind chime that suddenly appeared on the wall cabinet and was stunned.
The father in the illusion was still saying harsh words.
But Luna's eyes began to waver.
“…Dad told me that if I was scared, I should shake the wind chimes.”
Her voice was soft, as if she was talking to herself.
The next second, she swung her wand violently and light exploded.
The illusion shattered.
Luna fell over the edge of the blood pool and fell to the stone ground, looking at them in a daze.
"You...are...real?"
"It's true." Neville helped her up and smiled softly, "Welcome back."
Amanta breathed a sigh of relief, but the next moment turned her attention to the pool of blood.
"Next, Hermione."
After a moment, Hermione's illusion unfolded.
She was sitting in an empty library.
The books around were gray and blank, and a silent rain was falling outside the window.
"I can't remember anything." She muttered to herself, her eyes empty. "I failed the exam, the crucible exploded... I can't even recite the spell..."
She squatted down with her head in her hands. In the phantoms around her, teachers, classmates, and family members kept appearing in her ears, speaking coldly and accusingly.
"Too much like Hermione." Amanta frowned.
Neville pulled out a folded piece of parchment and handed it to her.
"what is that?"
"She gave it to me when we passed by the library last time and asked me to give it to you." Neville scratched his head embarrassedly, "I didn't have time to give it to you."
Amenta unfolded, revealing Hermione's familiar handwriting.
"Very good." She folded the envelope into a paper crane and sent it into the illusion.
In the illusion, the little paper crane quietly fell into Hermione's arms.
She was stunned for a moment and unfolded.
When that line of words came into view, her eyelashes trembled slightly.
The illusion began to collapse.
The next second, Hermione screamed and fell out from the pool of blood.
She gasped and looked at them, her eyes red.
"How did you do that?" she asked in a hoarse voice.
Amanta whispered, "You saved yourself."
