The game ended around 10pm. Although it hadn't set yet, the sky was already overcast and it soon began to rain heavily.

"Why don't we wait until the rain stops before going back?" Cheng Che suggested, "It's raining too hard."

"Let's go back." Wen Song glanced at the weather forecast and said, "There will be strong winds, heavy rain, and hail in the future."

As soon as he finished speaking, huge hailstones began to fall from the sky and hit the stadium, but it could not dampen the enthusiasm of the audience. All around were fans singing the German national anthem, holding beer and national flags.

Cheng Che smelled the strong smell of marijuana in the air and coughed a few times. He frowned unhappily and was unwilling to stay in the stadium any longer.

He grabbed Wen Song's hand, looked at her and said, "Then let's run back quickly."

"Okay." Wen Song agreed immediately, held his hand tightly, walked through the crowded crowd, and ran to the entrance of the stadium.

The rain was getting heavier, and with the strong wind, even the umbrellas were blown away. Cheng Che noticed that Wen Song was wearing a pair of black mid-heeled boots today, and immediately bent down and said, "I'll carry you back."

"It's okay. These shoes are comfortable to walk in. They won't hurt." Wen Song helped him up and said with a smile, "Let's walk back to the dock slowly."

Cheng Che was very persistent. He carried her directly onto his back, held her legs and said, "But I want to carry you. Look, our umbrella is so small. If we walk, only you can hold it. If I carry you, we can both hold the umbrella."

"Okay, there's really nothing I can do about you." Wen Song held up the umbrella and lay on his back, saying a little embarrassedly, "But I've gained weight recently."

"Even if you weigh 100 pounds, I can still carry you." Cheng Che smiled and lifted Wen Song up a little so that she could lie more comfortably. "My wife is not heavy at all. She is still very light."

The umbrellas provided by the stadium were not of good quality and could not withstand such strong winds at all. As soon as they were opened, the wind blew the umbrellas inside out and they could not keep out the rain at all.

"That's why I say I hate the Netherlands!" Wen Song complained, "The weather in the UK in summer isn't this bad! It's sunny during the day, and it starts to hail at night."

Cheng Che smiled, gently put Wen Song down, took off his windbreaker and covered her head with it, then carried her on his back again and said, "It's okay, I'll walk faster, we'll go back soon."

Wen Song lay on his back, with his coat covering her head, and she was almost not wet by the rain. But when he lowered his head, Cheng Che's arms and legs were already wet by the rain.

She reached out and gently wiped the raindrops off his forehead, whispering, "Ache...thank you."

"Why are you thanking me? Blame me. I should have remembered to bring an umbrella." Cheng Che walked faster. "Honey, hold on. We'll be there soon."

"Thank you…"

Wen Song lay tightly on his back. He had carried her like this in the underwater tunnel of the Kanmon Strait in Fukuoka seven years ago and in the corridor of Oxford University Hospital five years ago. Everything really had never changed.

The situation wasn't much better when we got back on the boat. The sports boat had no cabin and no awning, but fortunately, there was a windproof umbrella.

Wen Song looked up and saw that Cheng Che was soaked. He tilted the umbrella towards him and said worriedly, "You'll catch a cold."

"It's okay, I'm in good health. If I really catch a cold, my wife will take care of me, right?" Cheng Che pushed the umbrella towards her again to ensure that she would not be hit by hail and raindrops.

"Now you know why I left ESA..." Wen Song looked at the strong wind and hail around him and couldn't help sighing.

She still remembered that when she came here, she and Cheng Che were lying on the boat together to bask in the sun. But now, they were wrapped tightly in windbreakers and shivering in the cold wind, like two drowned rats.

"I know." Cheng Che smiled, started the yacht, and said to her, "I'll drive faster so we can go back earlier."

"Well... actually, there are other reasons, but the weather is really the most important reason."

Wen Song leaned beside him and held up an umbrella to block the air above their heads. Cheng Che, who was only wearing a T-shirt, sneezed out of the cold, but stopped Wen Song from giving him his coat. Instead, he buttoned up her windbreaker and asked curiously, "What's the other reason?"

Wen Song was speechless when he thought of this and couldn't help rolling his eyes. "I have to communicate with other project teams and senior management all the time, especially the administrator. He doesn't know anything and talks a lot of nonsense. He says every day that our design is too expensive. I pay millions of euros in taxes every year, but he still cries poor to me. So I went back to LMU. I get annoyed when I see people at ESA."

Cheng Che smiled. It was exactly what he thought. But he couldn't help asking, "Why did you go to ESA? The weather in the Netherlands is so bad. After you graduated with your doctorate, I thought you would go back to Zurich or Munich."

"Because... there is only the Netherlands, and no memories of you." As time passed, Wen Song thought of the situation at that time, and only felt funny. "I want to go to a strange place, so I can forget you."

"You can't forget me." Cheng Che looked at her and said aggrievedly, "You absolutely can't forget me."

"I've forgotten. Who are you? You're so handsome. What's your name?

Wen Song looked at Cheng Che's face which was wet from the rain. The rain soaked his T-shirt, revealing his perfect muscle lines. He couldn't help but joke with him.

"Professor Iseylia, I'm your husband, don't worry, I'll remind you of me." (Professor Iseylia, I'm your husband, don't worry, I'll remind you of me)

After saying that, he lowered his head and kissed Wen Song. Due to the heavy rain and the distance from the competition venue, there was only one cruise ship left on the canal, and the originally noisy city suddenly became quiet.

There were howling winds and heavy rains around them, accompanied by falling hailstones. Cheng Che hugged her under the umbrella. His shoulders were soaked, but Wen Song was still dry. His kiss was a little forceful and lingering, making her almost forget the wind and rain around her.

"Do you remember it now?" Cheng Che looked at her, smiling and his peach blossom eyes full of affection.

Wen Song put her arms around his waist and rested her head on his chest. His heartbeat was a little faster, perhaps because of the rain. She raised her head, kissed his neck gently, and asked him with a smile, "What do you think?"

Cheng Che saw her slightly raised eyes and couldn't help but kiss her again, saying angrily, "Little fox."

The weather in the Netherlands was indeed strange. When we arrived at the hotel, the rain had stopped and there was even a hint of orange sunset glow in the sky. It seemed that the strong wind and hail just now were just hallucinations.

Wen Song took out a towel, wiped the rain off Cheng Che's body, and bent down to kiss him: "It's useless to go to Holland now. I will never forget in my life that there was a fool with me, braving the heavy rain and hail, sailing from the arena back to the hotel."

Cheng Che also wiped the wet ends of her hair, hugged her and said, "Yes, so you can't leave me, because the whole world is our memory together, and sister can't forget me."

Wen Song also hugged him and bent down to kiss his eyebrows. How could she forget him? She had tried and failed many times before, and she knew that forgetting him was doomed to be impossible.
