In the ordinary life of Crayon Shin-chan
Chapter 1478 Mengya Wants to Hold a Photo Exhibition
At the Nohara residence, in the early morning, in the courtyard, Shiro looked at the storage room behind her with a bewildered expression, clearly somewhat frightened. Mingxu also stood to the side, deep in thought.
Xiaobai's voice quickly startled the people who were fast asleep inside the house. Meiya couldn't stand it anymore, so she opened the glass door and asked Xiaobai in the yard, "Xiaobai, Xiaobai, what's wrong? Xiaoxu, you're here too? What are you looking at?"
"Mom, was that storage room like this before?" Mingxu pointed to the area and looked at Meiya uncertainly. He didn't remember seeing it when he went out this morning.
"Hmm?" Misae looked over uncertainly. Seeing the unusual activity in the storage room, she hurriedly woke Hiroshi and the others. When Hiroshi and the others got up and saw the unusual activity in the storage room, they were also startled.
Holding a broom as a weapon, he exclaimed, "Could it be a thief? How could they be hiding in here?"
"That's hard to say..." Misae said uncertainly.
“It’s not a thief. I checked, and it doesn’t feel like there’s anyone inside,” Mingxu said, shaking his head.
"Huh? What's in there? Could some kind of animal have gotten in?" Hiroshi looked on uncertainly.
"Hiss~ Then we'll have to open it and take a look." Misae immediately became nervous.
"Well then, I'm going to start." Hiroshi approached cautiously, holding the broom tightly in his hand.
"Be careful," Misae said worriedly.
Hiroshi nodded, pulled the door open, and immediately a pile of things fell down.
Hiroshi was lucky he dodged quickly, otherwise he would have been hit by the object.
Inside the house, Shin-chan and the others peeked out, looking at the pile of things in the yard, and couldn't help but ask, "What are those two doing?"
"Why don't you go inside? Aren't you cold?" Mingxu rolled his eyes at Xiaoxin, saying helplessly.
It looks like someone has put something in the storage room, but judging from how skillfully they did it, it's hard not to guess who it is.
Hiroshi was puzzled: "Why are there so many boxes in here?"
"I don't know where it came from either," Misae said, frowning.
“Think about who knows our house so well, and the result is obvious.” Mingxu shrugged, somewhat helplessly. “Besides, there are some things on the ground that can completely prove the other party’s identity, such as this camera case.” As he spoke, Mingxu pointed to a case on the ground.
"...It's Mengya! Honestly, what is she thinking?!" Meiya puffed out her cheeks, her face darkening as she quickly packed her things and led the three little ones toward Chicken and Dog Jumping Village.
Looking at Misae's expression, Shin-chan asked uncertainly, "Mom, are you going to do something really mean to Misae?"
"What are you saying? What she did was outrageous!" Misae looked at Shin-chan with annoyance.
"Oh, you actually did something so outrageous to your mother, that's really admirable." Shin-chan nodded and said subconsciously.
"What do you mean by respect? At a time like this, you should be the one who can't be respected!" Misae said to Shin-chan with a hint of annoyance.
"Misae is hard to respect~" Shin-chan tilted his head and said with a grin.
Misae rolled her eyes; she really didn't want to talk to him anymore.
Mingxu asked with some confusion, "Mengya, when exactly did you put the things in here?"
"Well, this problem probably happened when you went out to exercise. I didn't expect that this guy would secretly stuff things into the storage room during that time. Sigh~" Thinking about Mengya's actions, Meiya also felt a bit overwhelmed.
The group quickened their pace and soon arrived at Chicken Flying and Dog Jumping Village. Reaching their former rented house, Meiya knocked loudly on the door: "Bang bang bang!"
"You're here, may I ask who you are?" Mengya's voice came from inside the house, followed by a series of footsteps.
"It's me." Meiya's cold voice came out, and the sound inside the room paused. Mingxu raised an eyebrow. Mengya had noticed something.
"Mengya! Run away!" Xiaoxin shouted into the house from the doorway.
"You little rascal!" Misae glared at Shin-chan. Mingxu grabbed Shin-chan, then pulled the doorknob, and the door opened instantly.
Mengya's voice followed: "Is that you, sis? The door's unlocked... um?"
"Sorry to bother you." After entering the house and looking at the situation inside, Shin-chan couldn't help but say, and then pulled Misae and the others to go out.
"Hey, hey, hey, what are you doing?" Mingxu looked at Xiaoxin with some confusion.
"We've got the wrong house," Shin-chan said, shaking his head.
"How could there be a mistake? I clearly heard Mengya's voice," Miya said speechlessly.
"Mom! This must belong to someone else!" Shin-chan said, pulling Misae and Akira out of the house.
"Don't do that."
"That's right, be a good boy and listen to me."
"Xiaoxin, don't worry, this is indeed Mengya's house. But it's so clean, it's quite rare." Mingxu was also a little surprised by how clean the house was. But thinking about all the stuff in the storage room, Mingxu suddenly realized why so many things had been put there.
"What are you arguing about?" Mengya asked, peeking out from the kitchen when she heard the argument.
"See, there's no mistake." Misae immediately grabbed Shin-chan, pointed at Yumiya, and then realized, "Oh, right, you thought there was a mistake because the room was very clean. No wonder it was clean, because all the things are at our house!" Misae looked at Yumiya and said irritably.
"Hehehe~ Did we find out?" Mengya didn't seem embarrassed at all. She looked at them with a grin and then led them into the inner room to sit down.
"It's so comfortable to stay in such a clean room," Mengya said proudly, looking at the clean environment.
Misae glared at Mengya, annoyed: "Your place is definitely cleaner now, but ours is in a terrible state!"
Thinking about the huge pile of things that had just fallen out, Misae felt a headache coming on; the storage room was completely filled with Yumiya's things.
Shin-chan looked around in surprise: "This really doesn't feel like Mengya's room."
"Yeah." Xiaokui nodded in agreement.
"Think about what it used to be like, and then look at it now, it's like two completely different people." Mingxu shrugged. In comparison, it was hard to believe that this was the place where Mengya lived.
Xiaoxin nodded: "Yes, a messy environment, that's what Mengya's room should be like."
"Yeah." Xiaokui nodded in agreement.
Hearing the three little ones' words, Mengya immediately became somewhat dissatisfied: "Can't my room be cleaned?!"
Misae grabbed Mengya's face and said irritably, "Then please explain in detail why you did something that looked like a thief?!"
"Like a thief!? Calling me a thief is too rude. I was just taking the things and putting them away. That's the exact opposite of what a thief does!" Mengya immediately retorted, arguing with Meiya.
"Smack!" Misae slapped the ground, causing the ground to shake.
The children and Mengya were startled, and the scene immediately fell silent.
"Stop spouting nonsense!" Misae snapped at Yumiya, annoyed.
"A monster has appeared, a gnashing-teeth old woman!" Shin-chan exclaimed in surprise upon seeing Misae's appearance.
Mingxu and Xiaokui, who were standing nearby, nodded in agreement. The commotion just now meant that the landlady was probably not there, otherwise she would have shouted long ago.
"Stop nagging!" Misae glared at Shin-chan, then looked at Yumiya again.
Mengya shrank back and hurriedly defended herself, "I know, I know, don't get so agitated, just tell the truth..." Mengya explained hastily.
“Last time I saw in a magazine that other people were holding photography exhibitions, so I think that you still need a place to publish your work in order to stand out. But renting and building a venue costs a lot of money. So, I discovered something: you can turn your home into a photography gallery. Don’t you think that’s a great idea?” Mengya said with a smile as she took out the magazine and handed it to Meiya and the others.
"But you held a photography exhibition before, didn't you make some kind of deal with an old man that time?" Mingxu looked at Mengya with some confusion.
"Um, that time was really awkward. We ended up parting ways because of our different views," Mengya said helplessly, spreading her hands.
Misae was a little puzzled: "But if you treat your home like a photography gallery, where do you live?"
“That’s right.” Mingxu was also a little puzzled.
"After they leave, I can put my things away for now and then rest," Mengya said nonchalantly.
"So you're saying we're going to hang Mengya's photos here?" Xiaoxin looked around and asked Mengya again.
