Operation Red Book

Chapter 71: Signed a Contract with the Devil 2

"what?"

The smile on Dorian's face suddenly disappeared, replaced by a look of astonishment.

"You are a demon, right? I have read many books about it. As long as you agree to my request, I am willing to give you my soul after I die."

Ivy's eyes were firm, and she looked seriously into Dorian's glowing red pupils.

"Besides, didn't you say that my soul is very fresh and very...suitable for your taste?"

"Why bother? I can kill you now and have a delicious dinner."

"My Lord Demon, how long have you lived? It must be more than a hundred years. Life is so boring, we always have to find some interesting spice of life. Besides, don't you want to have some appetizers before the main meal?"

"Well—that's right."

Dorian seemed to waver, and his black nails began to tap his forehead regularly.

"Then agree to my request. I am just a small human being. I might be hit and killed by a carriage tomorrow. The life span of a human is just a simple dinner time for you."

Ivy leaned against the tree trunk, breathing heavily, looking at the moon in the sky, and praying continuously in her heart.

After a long moment, Dorian's head straightened back, and his voice was clear and resounding in the quiet woods.

"Okay, I'll sign a contract with you. Tell me what wish you want me to fulfill."

Ivy opened her eyes wide, looking at the devil boy in front of her in disbelief. It seemed that escaping was effective. She had to think carefully about such a good opportunity.

"You can't kill Joshua and the members of SCO."

"It's your own wish, not someone else's."

"Then...be my slave and serve me for the rest of your life."

Ivy said carefully, her eyes constantly glancing at Dorian's expression.

Dorian's olive eyeballs faded, and the whites of his eyes turned dark red. Horns emerged from his head, and black stripes stretched out, clearly indicating Dorian's strong rejection.

"I know, I know, I'll change." Ivy was so scared that she kept backing away.

After Dorian turned back into human form, Ivy cleared her throat and said to him:

"You have to help me until I return to my original world."

The breeze blew through the branches of the woods, shaking countless white tea petals to the ground. The moonlight shone on the two people, blurring the edges of their bodies.

Dorian stood up, and a ball of green flame ignited in the palm of his hand. The flame gradually grew larger and illuminated the faces of the two men.

The wind in the woods grew stronger, picking up the petals and fallen leaves on the ground, forming a tornado that completely enveloped the two people's bodies.

Dorian floated up, looking down at Ivy, his voice echoing like an arrogant devil crawling out of hell.

"agree."

Dorian's echoes drilled into Ivy's ears, hitting her eardrums and causing pain in her forehead.

The strong light made it difficult for her to open her eyes, but she still endured the discomfort and continued to stare at Dorian high up and the green ball in her hand.

The blue flame split into two, one of which slowly floated from Dorian's hand to Ivy's eyes, and then gradually turned into a blue hexagram talisman with complex and difficult to understand words on it.

Ivy squinted her eyes to try to see the words clearly, and the talisman floated out of her sight and settled at the teeth marks on Ivy's shoulder and neck.

Ivy didn't feel any pain, but just felt a chill on her neck. The needle-like pain disappeared immediately, and was replaced by a cool and comfortable feeling.

The blue light flows along the lines, shining brightly on the fair skin.

Dorian slowly fell down, his right hand on his waist, and his left hand caught another ball of blue flame.

The flame also turned into a hexagram pattern and settled on his right wrist.

Looking at the six-pointed star pattern on his right wrist, Dorian couldn't help but sneer. He turned his head to look at Ivy's neck and said coldly, "The contract is signed."
