Operation Red Book

Chapter 51 Lord Dorian's Arrival 1

The moonlight was hazy, and the surging waves seemed to be wrapped in a layer of gauze, becoming much softer.

The waves on the sea surface are surging slowly, but the tides beneath the sea surface are surging.

Near the border, the surging waves hit the rocks on the cliff, and the dark brown soil has been washed day and night, and the surface has long been bumpy.

Many vines grow on the cliff, and their dark leaves sway in the sea breeze.

The plants climbed upwards madly, and from a distance, the entire black Gothic building was covered with vines.

Arnold put on the hood of his black robe, leaving only his long golden hair and bright yellow eyes in the darkness.

He stood in front of a large window, looking out through the gaps between the vines, not knowing whether he was looking at the calm sea in the distance or the hazy moon in the sky.

The candle flame lit up automatically, and the flame suddenly jumped up high. A black crow with scarlet eyes flew out from it.

The crow's tail caught fire. It circled around the room a few times before finally landing on the dark window frame. As soon as it landed, it began to gracefully comb its dark feathers.

"You're here, Ravenna."

Arnold's cold voice sounded in the darkness, and the crow moved over and rubbed Arnold's hand.

"Oh, what's the matter?"

The crow spread its wings and flew onto Arnold's shoulder. It cawed a few times and flew above the fireplace in the room. It tore at a rose with rotten edges and scattered the rose petals into the fireplace.

Arnold turned, lowered his hood, picked up the brandy on the table, and poured it all into the fireplace.

The rose petals soaked in alcohol appear even more red.

He continued to pick up the candlestick, bent over and lit the fireplace, and a green flame suddenly rose in the fireplace.

Arnold put down the candlestick and the empty bottle, and the crow cackled, flew to Arnold's shoulder, and continued to comb its feathers.

"Ravenna, you are very beautiful. Lord Dorian will not blame you for your feathers."

As soon as he finished speaking, the green flame instantly burned the entire fireplace.

The flickering firelight was imprinted on Arnold's face and danced in his bright yellow eyes.

Arnold and Crow lowered their heads and backs at the same time, waiting respectfully in front of the fireplace.

A burst of black smoke appeared in the fireplace, and the smoke formed a tornado more than two meters high on the carpet in front of the fireplace.

Arnold's blonde hair was blown up, and Crow was blown so hard that he couldn't stand and almost fell off Arnold's shoulders.

The black tornado gradually disappeared, and the fireplace was clean.

The hearth-rug was covered with black soot and strewn with withered rose-petals.

"Arnold, long time no see, how have you been lately?" The voice was crisp and magnetic, revealing a youthful charm.

Arnold looked up and saw a boy of about sixteen or seventeen standing in the black smoke.

The boy was wearing a clean and crisp polo uniform, and his hair and eyes were both dark olive color.

"Welcome, Lord Dorian." Arnold leaned over and kissed the boy's white and tender hand.

"I'm sorry, my family has been a bit busy lately. My mother is going to host a dance party soon, and as the third son, I need to share the burden with my mother and brothers."

Dorian tilted his head and smiled widely, his fair and charming face blushing, which made people who saw him fall in love with him.

"Arnold, I heard that Dalton is back."

The boy's voice is still young and tender, but there is always a sinister feeling in this dark shadow.

"Take me to see him. I have a few questions...it seems that only he can answer them."

Dorian opened his eyes, his pupils changed from olive to crimson, and his bright smile faded, revealing the same jagged teeth and fangs as Arnold's.

The crow cawed, flapped its wings and flew off into the darkness.

"I have locked Dalton in the dungeon. Please come this way."

Arnold bent sideways, stretched out his right hand in the direction where the crow flew, and made a "please" gesture.
