Operation Red Book

Holmes drove his carriage and waited outside the Chinese wharf for a long time.

Apart from the cool night breeze and the surging waves of the Thames, he didn't hear any strange sounds all night.

Ivy and Joshua could appear at any time, maybe vertically, or more likely horizontally.

Unexpectedly, when he looked up, he really saw a black shadow moving quickly in the white fog.

The black shadow was strange in shape, wide and long, and it was obvious that it was not from the human world.

Holmes could clearly see the pair of long legs moving forward. The frequency of the long legs changing was very fast, and the running speed was certainly not to be underestimated.

Holmes smacked his lips in dissatisfaction and his right hand unconsciously tightened the pistol at his waist.

The direction the monster was running towards was exactly where Holmes' carriage was parked by the river.

Holmes flew down from the roof of the car, grabbed the horse's reins and was about to leave this place of trouble.

But at the critical moment, two clear shouts suddenly came from the thick fog:

Who yelled? The monster?

Could it be...could it be?

Holmes was confused for a moment. He stopped the falling reins, took out his pistol, and got out of the carriage.

The black shadow in the white fog grew bigger and clearer.

The crisp sound of leather shoes stepping on the stone road and the soft shouting were getting closer and brighter.

Holmes stared at the dark shadow closely, his finger quietly on the trigger.

The black muzzle of the gun was pointed at the vast white fog. With just the sound of gunpowder colliding, the blind bullet would fly into the huge body of flesh and blood in the blink of an eye.

And Holmes certainly thought so.
