Joshua touched the tip of his nose guiltily.

The unicorn pawed its hooves on the dark floor, then turned and walked to a corner of the bedroom.

It pressed its body against the mud-covered wall, its nose twitching, and it looked very serious.

Not long after, it started walking along the wall, swinging its white ponytail as it walked a full circle along the bedroom wall.

Ivy and Joshua looked at each other and saw confusion and puzzlement in each other's eyes.

Finally, the unicorn walked to the window filled with a full moon.

The windows are simple wooden frames with only a thin layer of glass.

The cold moonlight shone on the fluttering long mane, brightening the unicorn's body.

It stood by the window, looking up for a long time, without blinking and its nose never stopping moving.

"What does it mean? Is it looking at the scenery... or surveying the terrain..."

Joshua whispered, but Ivy shut his mouth manually.

After a long time, the unicorn finally took its first step.

It rubbed Ivy with its head and body, walked straight past Joshua, pushed open the door with its long horns, and slowly walked towards the spiral staircase at the end of the corridor.

Joshua and Ivy did not dare to delay for a moment and moved forward rapidly following the ray of light in the darkness.

The unicorn took huge steps and its speed should not be underestimated. After just a few steps, it left Ivy and Joshua far behind.

It showed no interest in the other rooms in the corridor, and the long horns on its forehead always protruded forward.

"It went up the stairs... the fourth floor?"

At the corner between the third and fourth floors, the vampire lord often waits there, sucking the blood of passers-by and then erasing their memories.

"Joshua..."

Joshua turned his head and saw a unicorn with a faint glow shuttling between the stairs, then disappeared into the darkness after turning a corner.

"It went up. The passage must be on the upper floors."

Joshua comforted Ivy, who was sweating profusely, and kept looking towards the end of the darkness.

"There is no sound." Joshua's eyes were drawn to the darkness of the stairs.

Joshua smoothed Ivy's hair, squeezed her hand, and then set off on his journey of knowing nothing.

After turning a corner, Joshua also disappeared into the darkness.

The castle was silent. Mozart's symphony floated up from the bottom of the building, soft and comfortable. However, it could not calm Ivy's pounding heart.
