The Strongest Knight

Chapter 23 Wizard

The desolate uninhabited area is overgrown with weeds and surrounded by rocks.

The beast slave Abaier, once a high-ranking infantryman of the tribe, was now leading the largest group of beast slaves in the riot - fifteen beast slaves, running through the no-man's land and fleeing towards the border.

The orange-yellow sunlight at dusk slanted into Abaier's eyes, which was a bit dazzling and made him squint involuntarily.

"Ok?"

In the sight, a figure was standing on a barren rock several meters high on the roadside, and it seemed that he had been waiting for a long time.

Abel was not surprised but delighted. He ignored the surprised looks of the orcs behind him and took a few quick steps forward: "Master Wizard Angele, thank you for your help! We escaped successfully!"

The figure waiting here in a hooded robe turned out to be a mysterious wizard originating from the western part of the Barrow continent.

The wizard named Angele wore a hood, with half of his face hidden under his high collar. The only two eyes that were exposed were of different colors, the left eye was dark and deep, and the right eye was a beautiful amber.

Angele stared at the orc Abel with his strange eyes, causing the latter to feel fear, and a hint of mockery flashed in his eyes.

"First, take care of the incoming Drew Knight, and then tell me that you have managed to escape."

As soon as he finished speaking, the clear sound of horse hooves reached Abel's ears.

"Captain Abai, a group of human cavalry are chasing us!" Behind him, the orcs' exclamations came.

Abel was shocked, gritted his teeth, and knelt on one knee, "Lord Angele, please help us. Our lives will belong to you from now on."

Compared with the dark life of a slave, Abel is willing to become a loyal warrior under a human wizard.

Angele shook his head. "To kill the Drew Knight in the Drew Kingdom, I have to either be desperate or crazy. You can only rely on yourself, Abel."

Abel suppressed his anger and said, "Then why did you help us escape from Stoneclaw City??!"

"I just did it on a whim, for fun. Besides, I'm really short of a group of orcs willing to fight for my life in the Central Region." Angele said without hiding anything.

"Don't look at me like that unless you want to die faster."

The cold words without any mercy finally made Abaier lower his head and hide the anger in his eyes.

"As you wish." Abel took a few steps back, then turned around and shouted, "Battle formation! Those with weapons, line up in front!"

The border is right in front of him, and Abel is unwilling to surrender!

When Gray and his cavalry caught up, fifteen orcs had already formed a V-formation. Seven or eight of them were holding spears, which they had snatched from the Stoneclaw City guards.

"Charge! Cut through them!"

Now is not the time to show off personal heroism. Faced with the orcs in formation, Gray cannot deal with them alone and must rely on the cavalry behind him.

The cavalry of Birch Castle are all knight trainees who were eliminated from the knight training. Although they may not be able to condense the soul of the knight due to their lack of physical talent, compared with ordinary people, their physical fitness is extremely strong, and they are only slightly inferior to ordinary orcs!

However, this slight gap was completely eliminated due to the knights' advantages in armor, mounts, weapons and numbers.

The cavalry ruthlessly cut through the orc formation.

At the moment of passing through, Gray swept and stabbed with his spear, and the two orcs were instantly killed!

Glancing back from the corner of his eye, Gray saw an unusually tall orc pulling a cavalryman off his horse, causing him to fall violently. The cavalryman was bleeding from his mouth and was seriously injured. In addition, several cavalrymen were stabbed by orcs with weapons.

But the orcs suffered greater losses. After one charge, only six of the fifteen orcs were left standing.

"Turn back! Surround and kill!"

Gray turned his red horse's head and rushed towards the tallest orc, waving the knight's lance in his hand. This guy should be Abel.

Abel also noticed the knight leader's lock. He gritted his teeth, snatched the spear from the human cavalryman under his feet and held it in his hand. He also stepped hard on the cavalryman's chest, killing him completely.

Gray laughed in anger, and the redback under him seemed to sense Gray's anger and took even faster steps.

In just a few moments, the distance was close, and Gray thrust his gun forward!

"Master Wizard, it's time to take action!" Abel suddenly shouted.

While Gray was distracted, Abel suddenly stabbed out with the spear in his hand.

Do you really think I was fooled by you?!

Gray stood up, stepped on the horse's back and jumped high. In mid-air, Gray shot the spear directly out as if it were a javelin!

In this shot, Gray used the eighteenth move of the Black Water Sword Technique, which greatly increased the explosive power. This shot was fast and accurate!

Abaier didn't have time to dodge completely, and even though he slightly moved his body, the spear still pierced his chest.

Before the man hit the ground, Gray drew out the heavy sword from his waist.

As soon as he landed, Gray slashed off Abel's legs with a swift sword.

Abel screamed and fell to the ground.

Gray was not going to easily forgive this guy who killed the Birchfort cavalry in front of him, so he cut off his arms with two quick sword strikes.

In the blink of an eye, Abel turned into a human stick.

The battle between cold weapons is so quick that the winner can be decided with just one move.

Three of the remaining six orcs died in succession, one of them was killed by Garu's spear. The blood splattered all over Garu's face, making the tall black boy even more ferocious.

The three orcs left alone completely lost their fighting spirit, squatted down with their heads in their hands and chose to surrender.

"Pa pa pa, not bad, you are worthy of being the knight apprentice of the Dru Kingdom."

Gray turned his head and saw the man who had been standing on the rock and covered in a hooded robe walked over and stopped at a safe distance.

It's not that Gray didn't notice this mysterious man when he was charging, but after seeing him, this mysterious man directly revealed his identity to Gray through the wizard's means and bluntly said that he would not interfere.

So, even though Gray was still distracted and paying attention to the suddenly appearing wizard while charging, Abel's shout did not affect Gray's attack.

"You're hiding in your robe and you're afraid to see anyone? Are you a rat crossing the street?" Garu had just killed someone, and the boiling blood in his heart had not yet subsided. He spoke fearlessly.

Intent on testing the wizard's intentions, Gray did not explain Garou's rudeness.

"Haha, aren't you also hiding in the airtight knight armor? Do you think you are a mouse?" Facing the knight's apprentice, the wizard no longer had the disdain he had when facing the beast slaves, but became lively instead.

Garu was choked and couldn't find the words to refute for a moment. He couldn't help but look at Gray, his genius senior brother who always looked down on him.
