Harry Potter: This savior is a bit bad

Chapter 16 Savior, I can only help you so far

"You mean to let me adopt a descendant of the Potter family? Lucius, this doesn't sound like what you're suggesting at all..."

Snape seemed to smell something foul.

"It was Aurora's suggestion."

"Aurora?"

Snape looked at the girl lying on Narcissa's shoulder: "You gave birth to a Gryffindor."

"That's not funny, Severus. Aurora has a point, you're the only one who would care about him."

Lucius freed a hand and patted Snape on the shoulder.

"I'll think about it." Snape looked away: "And, thanks."

This was the second time Snape thanked him solemnly.

We show as much goodwill as possible, and just hope that one day in the future, he won't sell out the Malfoy family.

Hasn't he been used by others all his life?

Voldemort used his brilliance, and Dumbledore used his guilt over Lily Evans.

He is the most effective dagger of these so-called leaders.

He never lived for himself.

Unfortunately, I am not the savior.

I am not here to save a long lost soul.

The day Lily Evans died, he lost the ability to love.

The last sentence "Always" earned everyone's tears and also served as his epitaph.

Dumbledore politely rejected Snape's decision to adopt Harry.

The kind old man solemnly assured Snape that Harry would be in the safest place and live like a prince.

"Live like a prince", how ironic.

If abuse and living under someone else's roof were part of the life of a "prince".

Snape always had a close relationship with the Malfoy family.

He often tutors Draco and me in our studies.

Draco's talent in potions was recognized by Snape.

Just like in the original book, the boy admires the youngest head of Slytherin very much.

Snape even taught the boy his own invisible sword technique and the method of breaking the spell.

"Draco, that spell is dangerous..."

In the original book, Harry, a sixth-year student at Hogwarts, used the magic of Sharpness to cut Draco's chest.

The boy fell in a pool of blood, and the blood stained his shirt.

"Don't worry, I won't use it on you." Draco waved his wand and practiced it everywhere.

I didn't want to be disfigured, so I stayed away from him.

"Got you!"

Draco opened the cabinet in front of him.

"Godfather, Aurora hid herself to avoid practice." The boy winked at me.

Fortunately, Snape would not believe the boy's one-sided story.

"Your magic power is not yet stable, so don't practice offensive spells." Snape took away Draco's children's wand.

"The next step is to make potions. Let me check your preparation first."

"Godfather... do Muggle parents beat their children?"

We are already five years old, and Harry Potter must have lived a dark life for a few years.

"..."

Snape didn't answer; my question apparently brought back memories of a similarly miserable childhood.

"Aurora, you're just watching too much Muggle TV, that's why you're so scared!"

Draco reached out and pulled me out of the closet. "Mom and Dad spoil you so much, why would they still worry about this?"

"But, I heard from the portrait that... the requirements for us will become higher and higher. Will it be like what was said on Muggle TV, that if we can't meet the requirements, we will have to sleep in the cupboard..." My voice was choked with sobs and a strong nasal tone.

"Aurora, do you think you're a house elf? And you sleep in the cupboard?"

Draco ruffled my hair.

"That's great... Fortunately, I was not born in a Muggle family..." I said with a lingering fear on my face.

Before he finished his words, Snape disappeared.
