Deep love is also heartless

In the early 1990s, a once-in-a-century heavy snowstorm hit the city of Fucheng. The snow was knee-deep and the wind was bitingly cold. People all went to bed early.

There are five rows of bungalows running east-west, with ten households in each row. This is the family quarters of the machinery manufacturing plant. The quarters are surrounded by vegetable fields. To the north of the vegetable fields is the railway track, and to the north is the forest. To the east of the vegetable fields, there are bungalows across a road. At the north end of the road is a small train station. To the south of the vegetable fields, there is a school across the road. To the west of the vegetable fields is a greenhouse, which covers a large area.

Around ten o'clock in the evening, a passenger train arrived at the station and left two minutes later. After a while, a scream resounded through the sky from the snow on the east side of the family quarters. The shrill cry was creepy in the silent night.

Several houses turned on their lights, and some people came out with flashlights. From time to time, voices could be heard, but soon everything returned to silence. In the dark night, only snowflakes were still falling.

The snow stopped in the morning and the naughty children were running in the snow. The teenagers had difficulty moving forward with their lower bodies in the snow. The children were having a lot of fun and the adults were talking while shoveling snow.

Suddenly a child screamed "Oh my God!" and then ran home howling.

The adults asked hurriedly: "What's wrong?"

The child cried out, "There is someone in the snow."

Several adults followed the path the children had taken and ran towards the place the children pointed to. A human leg was exposed not far from the house.

Several people quickly dug the person out, and one person said, "Isn't this Li Gang's wife?"

Another person shouted: "Li Gang, Li Gang, come here quickly, it's your wife."

Li Gang's home was on the easternmost side of the first row on the south side. Li Gang was sweeping snow in the yard. When he heard the shouting, he ran over in a hurry. Another: "Yeah, Yiyi used to be such a lively kid..."

As we were talking, the police arrived; it turned out someone had reported a case.

After more than two months of investigation, the conclusion was that Xiaohong died suddenly of fright on her way home from a business trip after getting off the train. However, the cause of the fright could not be found out because there was too much snow and no trace could be found.

Half a year later, it was Yiyi's fourth birthday. Li Gang bought Yiyi a very expensive orchid princess dress and took her to the zoo to see animals. Yiyi jumped for joy, and along the way she shared her happiness with Li Gang in a soft voice. But Yiyi didn't know that this was her last happiness.
