The cool blue light was evenly spread on every place Qin Yangming passed by. Gradually, everyone came to the entrance of a tall cave.

"My friend, please!"

Chongxuzi said with a smile.

Qin Yangming followed Chongxuzi into Baiyun Temple and discovered a different world inside.

The caves are connected to each other and extend in all directions. Walking among them, Qin Yangming feels like an ant shuttling back and forth in an anthill.

The entire Baiyun Temple is made up of caves of various sizes. The naturally formed cave has been built to look like a Taoist temple.

Pieces of rotten peach wood were nailed on top of each cave, and the name of each cave was engraved on the peach wood plaque with great force.

The Law Hall, the Sutra Library, the Jade Emperor Hall, and even the guest hall.

Qin Yangming was led by Chongxuzi to a guest hall. Although it was called a guest hall, it was actually just a cold and damp cave, with only a straw mat and a tattered cushion inside.

Chongxuzi walked to the cave entrance and waved his hand to disperse the disciples who were gathering outside the guest hall. He personally lowered the rolled-up cloth curtain. At this time, the light in the cave, which was already dim, became even dimmer.

Chongxuzi, with his skinny body hunched over, walked cautiously to Qin Yangming, and smiled with wrinkles on his face:

"You still don't know your name?"

"I see that you are all alone, and you have a close relationship with my sect, so you can become my disciple..."

Chongxuzi's eyes rolled, he covered his mouth with his backhand and approached Qin Yangming and said to him mysteriously:

"Look at those people outside. Most of them are just like you. Coming here is like returning home. They practice hard day and night, and their cultivation is improving by leaps and bounds..."

Qin Yangming kept chewing on Chongxuzi's words in his heart.

For some reason, he always felt uncomfortable being here, but looking at these Taoists, they seemed to be in their element.

Seeing Qin Yangming frowning, Chongxuzi thought he was questioning him, and said quickly:

"My dear friend, I have some secret methods of cultivation here. If you want to become my disciple, I will accept you as my personal disciple and teach you all the secret methods of cultivation!"

Qin Yangming politely said to Chong Xuzi:

"Thank you for your kindness, Taoist priest, but I already have a master."

A very absurd and weird expression suddenly appeared on Chongxuzi's face.

This is the only Taoist temple here. Where did you get your master from?

Could it be that this person was already a Taoist disciple before coming here?

Chongxuzi couldn't guess what it was for a moment, and the warm expression on his face turned cold in an instant.

However, he immediately put on his previous smiling face and said to Qin Yangming:

"Hahaha, since my friend already has a master, then I am being rude!"

"You still don't know your name?"

Chongxuzi asked, his cold and dagger-like gaze licking Qin Yangming's face.

Qin Yangming recalled the caves he had come from, and saw the words "Guest Hall" nailed on the entrance of the cave. He thought for a while and said:

"My surname is Qin and my name is Dongbin."

Dongbin is a guest in the cave.

He chose this name in order to better play his current role.

Chongxuzi laughed a few times and said repeatedly, "What a good name, what a good name."

"Fellow Daoist Dongbin, tomorrow is the day for us to watch the "Five Dragons Holding the Saint". You can come and watch it then!"

After that, he didn't say any more extra words. After telling Qin Yangming to have a good rest, he left the cave.

Qin Yangming saw that after Chongxuzi left, there were still several disciples lingering in front of his cave. He thought they were here to monitor him.

This living room might be a prison.

The cave fell silent again, with only the sound of dripping water coming from somewhere.

"Tick, tick..."

It was so cold here that Qin Yangming couldn't help but wrap himself tightly around the dark blue Taoist robe he had just put on.

Suddenly, outside the guest hall, a fat-headed and big-eared Taoist priest couldn't help peeking inside through the gap in the curtain. Qin Yangming said:

"Fellow Daoist, please come in and have a chat."

After hearing this, the man couldn't believe that Qin Yangming was calling him and stood there at a loss as to what to do.

"Fellow Taoist, I have something to ask you!" Qin Yangming said.

The man was sure of it now, and shyly lifted the curtain, his plump, fair face flushed red.

Qin Yangming asked in a low voice: "Daoist friend, I want to ask who you are?"

He considered his words carefully and said, "Could it be that they are all [unethical Taoist priests] in the [fortune teller] sequence..."

Unexpectedly, before he could finish his words, the fat Taoist priest covered Qin Yangming's mouth tightly. He was heavy to begin with, and this time he almost knocked Qin Yangming to the ground.

"Shhh!!!"

The fat Taoist priest's eyes widened, and he made a gesture to Qin Yangming to keep quiet. He also looked towards the cave entrance to see if anyone heard their conversation.

"can not say!"

Qin Yangming looked at the fat face full of nervousness so close to him, and was a little confused.

The fat Taoist said: "You can't say the words you just said here!"

"Otherwise, Master will..."

The fat Taoist priest seemed to have remembered something terrible, and the rest of the words were stuck in his mouth, not daring to say any more.

Qin Yangming grabbed the fat Taoist's hand and asked:

"What will Master do?"

The fat Taoist avoided his gaze, but Qin Yangming's grip was unexpectedly strong, and it felt like the bones in his hands were about to break into pieces.

He felt pain and finally stopped hiding it. He said:

"My master will refine me into a human pill!"

After saying this, he covered his mouth tightly, as if he had broken some taboo.

Qin Yangming did not embarrass him any more and just said:

"Take me around here, this shouldn't be a problem, right?"

"There are so many of you. I can't possibly run away under your noses, right?"

When Qin Yangming came, he saw a cave called Sutra Repository and he wanted to go inside and take a look.

The fat Taoist hesitated, but after thinking about it, he felt that what Qin Yangming said made sense, so he nodded and said to Qin Yangming:

"Master, you can just call me Taoist Yueban. You can also call me Yueban."

Qin Yangming couldn't help but smile. Taoist Yueban saw this and scratched his head a little embarrassedly. He said:

"My Taoist name was given to me by my master. He said that this name is most appropriate for me and will definitely help me achieve twice the result with half the effort when practicing!"

Qin Yangming laughed and said:

"I am a poor Taoist, Qin Dongbin."

After saying that, he reached out and patted Taoist Yueban on the shoulder, asking him to lead the way.

As soon as the two of them lifted the curtain at the entrance of the cave, countless eyes were cast towards Qin Yangming, all of them sizing him up.

Qin Yangming saw that most of the people were squatting on the ground pounding something. They used wooden sticks made from simple stones as pestles and smashed them into the medicine jars again and again.

There seemed to be some metal and stone objects in the medicine jar, and the stone pestle would occasionally emit bright yellow sparks when it hit the jar.

Those people were smashing the pestles in their hands out of boredom, while staring at Qin Yangming unscrupulously.

Taoist Yueban walked in front and took Qin Yang around the Taoist temple.

"Daoist friend Yueban, can you come in and take a look?"

Qin Yangming suddenly stopped in front of a cave and said to the fat Taoist priest in front of him.

On the peach wood board above the cave were written three large characters: "Scripture Repository".

After hearing this, Taoist Yueban pulled back the curtain of the Sutra Library and said to Qin Yangming casually:

"Master, please look around!"

Qin Yangming walked in, but found that those ancient Taoist scriptures in thread-bound form were casually discarded in the cave. Due to the humid environment, the books were all wet and probably could not be read at all.

Qin Yangming took a quick glance and distinguished from the blurred words several precious Taoist scriptures, such as "Taiqing Yuandao Zhenjing" and "Tai Shang Jiu Yao Xin Yin Miao Jing", all of which were in a dilapidated state.

Taoist Yueban said to Qin Yangming:

“There are some old books here, but they are useless.”

"It's not as good as the scriptures taught by Master. The scriptures taught by Master are easy to read, unlike the ones in that book, where I can't recognize some of the words."

"What we recite in the morning and evening classes are also taught by our master."

"Every time I read this passage, I feel like I have become more spiritually savvy!"

Qin Yangming asked:

"May I ask what scripture the abbot taught me?"

Taoist Yueban became excited when he heard this. He gathered his composure and began to chant in a serious manner:

"What is the chaos of the ancient times? Unpredictable. Fear spreads, nameless fog. Gods are buried in chaos, where is the salvation? Falling into sleep, black palace tomb. Green flames are emitting, evil magic is blasphemous. Dead bodies and brains are dry, fungi are flying. Dark territory, eternal solidification!"

Qin Yangming was stunned as he looked at Taoist Yueban, whose eyes became redder and redder the more he chanted.
