Hogwarts and the Atypical Wizard

Chapter 180: Obtain the Vanishing Cabinet Again

In late October, the weather suddenly turned cooler, and damp and cold air covered Hogwarts.

Little wizards with smoke coming out of their ears could be seen everywhere in the corridor. That was because they drank the refreshing potion prepared by Madam Pomfrey to treat the cold, because a sudden cold had spread among everyone.

Madam Pomfrey's level is not fake. No matter how serious the cold is, one dose will have immediate effect. The only drawback is that your ears will become like train chimneys in the next few hours.

Seeing how others were dying from catching a cold, some smart students thought of taking precautions in advance. Someone secretly broke into the pharmacy room of the school hospital, scooped out a large jar of potion from Madam Pomfrey's cauldron, and kindly distributed it to everyone.

The result was that those who did not have a cold looked like they were on fire, with smoke coming out of their heads.

Hundreds of people with smoke coming out of their ears or heads appeared in the school at the same time. Hogwarts instantly turned into a burning coal kiln, with thick smoke billowing out.

Professor McGonagall's lips were twitching as she tried her best to purse them, and she finally had to announce a one-day suspension of classes amid the cheers of the little wizards!

No one knew what she was feeling when she announced with a blank expression that Gryffindor would lose thirty points.

Although the naughty kid who sneaked into the school hospital was put in solitary confinement, he won the respect of all the students in the school.

Having one naughty child is enough to make parents worried, and there are hundreds of such naughty children in Hogwarts. Yet Professor McGonagall can still calmly say, "We don't use magic to punish children." I can only say that she has great upbringing.

But, who made her the vice principal?

"Saienz, the little witch you asked me to pay attention to doesn't look optimistic recently." Jerry's slightly sharp voice sounded in Sainz's ears.

"What's up with her?"

"She looked very depressed, as if she was sick. Today I saw her brother forcing her to drink a dose of stimulant. As a result, her head started to smoke. It seems that she didn't have a cold."

Sainz thought that it was probably because Xiaofu absorbed too much of his soul power, and Xiaofu seemed to have taken some initiative.

Three days later, Tom came running to Sainz happily and said, "It appeared. The cabinet you mentioned appeared. When I was patrolling the second floor today, I heard Filch complaining and cursing. He thought that some annoying student had moved the cabinet he had put away to the second floor."

Sainz looked at Professor Binns who was mechanically lecturing on history at the podium, and said softly to Tom, "Okay! You stay there and watch for a while. I'll be there as soon as the get out of class is over."

It turned out that Sai's worries were unnecessary. When he hurried over after class, the black and gold cabinet was still there quietly, and no one was interested in it.

Seeing that there was no one around, he raised his hand and put away the treasure he had been talking about for several years.

The door of the house where every wish is fulfilled.

"Tom."

"I'm here, Sainz."

"I need you to go home now and have Tie Chai watch over the vanishing cabinet at home. Close and open it every five minutes to see if there are any abnormal changes. Come back in an hour."

"Okay, be careful."

"Don't worry, I'll be in the Room of Requirement for the next hour, and Jerry's here too."

Entering the secret base, he took the tangerine peel and turmeric tea brought by Conte, "Thank you, Conte, I don't need to bother you here for the time being."

Go to the spell research room and take out the vanishing cabinet.

First check whether it is intact or damaged.

Open the door, put an apple in, close the door, and open it again, and the apple disappears.

Beautiful and intact.

Every five minutes, repeat the door opening and closing operation. First, increase the number of apples and make them disappear. This works.

Later animals, bugs, frogs, mice, and rabbits were used.

Disappear, it works.

Come out of the Room of Requirement, look at the Marauder's Map, find an empty classroom, place an apple again, close the door, open the door, disappear, it works.

It seems to be intact at the moment.

After a while, Tom came back and said, "Saince, there is no change in the vanishing cabinet at home. The cabinet has always been empty."

"Okay, I get it. Thank you for your hard work Tom."

Just as Sainz had thought, the two disappearing cabinets were either damaged or not matched at all.

This situation was completely expected. If the two cabinets could really be matched, the original owner would have discovered it long ago, and it would have been Sai's turn to pick up the bargain.

Just put it away for now. You already have it and you will figure it out sooner or later.

It should be easier to take them home and study them together during the holidays.

Great, I’ve intercepted another potential Hogwarts loophole, and I’m in a good mood.

"Sainz, you seem to be in a good mood today. What good happened?" Adam joked.

"You're right. There is indeed a good thing. A problem that has been bothering me since I entered school has been solved." Sainz responded happily.

"Oh... congratulations." Adam lost interest instantly. He seemed to have misunderstood and probably thought that Sainz had figured out another magic problem.

The same situation had happened before. Sainz once said that he had figured out a problem that had been bothering him for a long time. Adam asked about it with great interest. When Sainz heard that he was interested, he did not hold back at all and started from the root of the problem, explaining why he had such doubts and the subsequent deduction process. However, after half an hour, Adam surrendered and said that he was wrong and that he should not have been too curious.

Adam said he didn't want to know anymore. Although Sainz felt a little regretful, he still respected his choice.

The same situation has also occurred to me.

To put it bluntly, compared to magical knowledge, they wanted to hear more gossip about Saiens, and Saiens happened to be the worst at gossip.

Two days later, that is, on Saturday evening, Tom said in his ear, "Sainth, Harry Potter just came back from outside with muddy feet. He must have just finished training. After entering the castle, he chatted with the Gryffindor ghost for a while, and then was caught by Filch and taken to the office."

"Really? Tom, go to the second floor right away, I'll be there soon." Sainz quickly ate the biscuit in his hand, stood up and walked from the auditorium to the foyer.

He had specifically instructed us to keep an eye on Harry Potter and the second floor.

Although the probability is very small, you still have to be on guard for another Vanishing Cabinet to "refresh" on the second floor and hit Peeves.

Fortunately, the result was not as "magical" as Sainz had imagined. This time, Peeves threw a large lecture table onto the roof of Filch's office.

Sai hid in the dark and waited until everyone left. He pretended to pass by and accidentally found the damaged podium. After careful inspection and confirming that it was just an ordinary table, he repaired it.

"Tom, if nothing unexpected happens, the basilisk will be out in a week. You and Jerry should work harder these days. Let's try to get rid of it in one go. After that, you can have a good rest."

"Don't worry, we are all ready and waiting for it to come!"
