Hogwarts and the Atypical Wizard

Chapter 18 Castle Run Map

In order to divert the elves' attention and prevent them from being sad and blaming themselves, Sainz lied that he had taken a walk for a while after dinner and was now hungry again, "I wonder if I can get some other food?"

"Of course, Mr. Autumn, all house-elves are willing to serve a wizard." Conte said and turned and ran.

The other elves did the same as Conte, quickly bringing over any food they could get.

Facing hundreds of pairs of expectant eyes, any tendentious action of Sainz would hurt the other little hearts, although they may have been used to it.

There is no choice but to choose a little from each person.

Carrying a bunch of delicious food, he said goodbye, "Thank you for your hospitality. I will come to see you when I have time."

After hearing his words, another elf's eyes began to moisten.

Sainz quickly exited the kitchen before any of the elves started crying.

When he returned to the dormitory, it was already half past eight and his two roommates were still sleeping. He gently placed his things on the table in the middle of the dormitory, left a note, and went out again.

The target this time is the Room of Requirement.

He walked through the lobby and climbed up the main building, going up floor by floor so as not to make his actions seem too purposeful.

The main building of Hogwarts is roughly in the shape of a square U, surrounding a large patio in the middle, with a total of eight formal floors.

Above the top floor are towers.

It was already late, and there were many other students in the corridor.

Walking around the corridor on the second floor, the more important places are the library, the school hospital, Professor Minerva McGonagall's office, and the History of Magic classroom.

Outside the door of a girls' bathroom, you can faintly hear a faint whimpering sound, which seems far away yet close, and it feels like hearing fingernails scratching on glass, which makes people feel very uncomfortable.

This should be the "Moaning Myrtle" bathroom, so Filch's office should be nearby?

There was no need to look for it. Maybe he heard Sainz's footsteps, or for some other reason, or it was just a coincidence. As soon as he stopped outside the women's bathroom door, a thin, gray cat came out of a small door diagonally opposite.

Perhaps because it was too thin, the cat's fur looked long, messy, gray and dirty.

It stared at Sainz with its bulging eyes like light bulbs, without blinking, then turned and meowed back into the door.

A hoarse voice came from the door, "Mrs. Norris, dear, what did you find?" A hunchbacked figure with sparse gray hair rushed out.

"What are you doing here?" Filch asked grimly.

Sainz's sympathy for him disappeared in an instant.

To be honest, he did have a bit of sympathy at first. The little wizards in the original track were sometimes a little careless and caused him a lot of trouble and added a lot of work.

To be honest, if someone repeatedly dirty the floor that he had just mopped clean with great effort, Sainz himself would not be able to help but get angry.

However, today is only the first time the two of you have met and they have never dealt with each other before. You come up with a tone like you are interrogating a prisoner, which makes it hard not to feel disgusted.

"I suppose it's not against school rules to walk in the corridors? Mr. Filch?"

Filch obviously understood the sarcasm implied by the word "sir" in Sainz's tone, and his gloomy eyes showed his anger. "You'd better not let me catch you!"

After saying that, he picked up Mrs. Norris who was at his feet, turned around and slammed the door shut.

At the other end of the corridor, Professor McGonagall seemed to have just returned from outside. Sainz bowed slightly from a distance, "Good morning, Professor McGonagall."

Professor McGonagall's mouth twitched slightly, "Good morning, Mr. Autumn." Without saying anything else, she opened the door and entered her office.

Going up the spiral stairs is pretty easy as long as you don’t mind the stairs that are moving around in some places.

The layout of the third floor is similar to that of the second floor, and the most interesting place to check in is the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor's office.

On the fourth floor, there are the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, the Charms classroom, and the trophy display room.

The trophy room displays trophies, medals and statues won by previous students; it also houses a list of male and female student union presidents.

On the fifth floor, most of the rooms are idle.

The sixth and seventh floors are similar to the fifth floor, and most of them are idle.

Sainz went up one floor at a time and found out where the bathrooms were on each floor, which completely avoided the embarrassment of running to the dormitory with his pants up in the future when he had a stomachache.

There are many check-in spots on the eighth floor.

Ravenclaw Head of House's office, Fat Lady's corridor.

The Fat Lady's Corridor leads to the North Tower, where the Gryffindor common room is located.

A door with a bronze eagle knocker was the entrance to the tower where the Ravenclaw common room was located.

There is also a tallest tower where astronomy classes are held.

The principal's office is in a small tower on the other side, with a huge stone beast guarding the door.

Another place you might come into contact with is the Owl Shed, which is at the top of the west tower. To make it easier for owls to get in and out, there is no glass on top.

Sainz went up to take a look and saw hay scattered on the floor, owl droppings and undigested mouse bones vomited out by the owl.

There are densely packed owls resting on the roosting branches above, probably hundreds or even thousands of them.

Strolling around, I came to a huge painting. There was no name on the painting, but people were used to calling it "The Giant Beating Stupid Barnabas with a Stick".

In the painting, a wizard tries to teach a group of trolls to dance ballet, and dresses the trolls in pink ballet shoes and fluffy swan skirts.

Sainz felt that his eye was seriously damaged.

A group of giant monsters three or four meters tall surrounded the "little wizard" who was less than half their height and vigorously waved their giant sticks, without stopping for thousands of years.

The wizard was beaten so hard that he ran away in fear in the painting.

Sainz can only say, what kind of brain circuit is this? Damn!!!

His arrival attracted the attention of a troll, which slightly relaxed its attack on silly Barnabas, giving him the opportunity to escape the encirclement. The trolls roared and chased the wizard away.

Everyone knows the secret to opening the Room of Requirement: pass by the wall opposite the giant painting three times and concentrate on thinking about the place you need.

There was no one in the corridor, so to be on the safe side, I asked for the toilet first.

"I need a men's side, I need a men's side, I need a men's side."

An unusually smooth door appeared silently on the wall. I pushed it open and found it was indeed an ordinary boys' bathroom. After using it, it was no different from any other bathroom.

Just found the place, satisfied, today's main task is completed!!!

Look at the time, it’s past eleven o’clock, go back to the dormitory and have a rest.

After a morning of exploration, there were still a few places left to visit, one of which was the greenhouse, the area in charge of the Hufflepuff Headmaster;

Another place is the underground Potions classroom, which is adjacent to the Slytherin Headmaster's office and the Slytherin dungeon;

Then there is the flying lesson lawn and the Quidditch pitch.

If this were a game, I believe most of the maps would have been lit up!

I will try to run the entire map in the afternoon.

Now, let’s eat first!
