Harry Potter: Miss Malfoy

Chapter 268 I Will Pay the Price

Preface: Although there haven't been many people recently, the paid gifts and red envelopes over the past few days have enough to update more chapters. It's just a little too late... so I'll add another chapter!

Learning that Harry wanted to see him only intensified his desire to escape.

After Luna left, Draco deliberately took a detour through the secret passages that he and Harry had explored before.

I hope that with the Marauder's Map, he won't run into me too easily.

I managed to escape back to the dormitory that night, but the next day,

He was caught by Harry on the platform leaving Hogwarts.

He seemed to no longer care about the glances and whispers, and just walked towards him through the crowd.

"Ger..."

He had just opened his mouth when Pansy's angry glare forced him to change his address.

"Malfoy."

Draco tucked his left hand into his robes and clenched it into a fist.

The pain from the nails digging into the palms shared the impact of the emotions in my heart.

"Stay away from me, Potter."

"Aren't you afraid of what these people might say?"

There were whispers all over the platform and a crowd of people was gradually gathering.

He lowered his voice and spoke threateningly in vain.

Harry was clearly indifferent.

"Compared to these people, I think Voldemort is just warming up."

Not understanding what was wrong with this person, he stared at him silently with a frown on his face.

The annoying thing was that Harry had obviously learned that his anger was not threatening at all.

He also lowered his voice and spoke to himself.

"You don't have to do this, I already know."

"If you want, I can—"

Looking at Harry, her eyes as green as a spring pond were filled with a calm mind.

The familiar sentences only reminded me,

The words Sirius left behind on the night Voldemort returned -

"If I want to muster up the courage, I can..."

I remembered what Severus said.

"Sirius is dead."

I also thought of my father who was in prison.

Close your eyes deeply, then open them slowly.

The starry eyes above her eye bags were dim and her expression was sad.

"Don't get so conceited, Potter."

Not wanting to stay any longer, he walked towards the express train without paying any attention to Harry.

As they passed each other, she whispered in a voice so soft that no one could notice.

"I will pay the price."

No one thinks it is their fault, it’s just that they just won’t forgive themselves.

-

After the express train entered King's Cross Station, I saw the person I had been thinking about day and night on the platform.

My mother still has an elegant temperament, but her figure is paler and thinner.

After saying goodbye to Pansy, Daphne, Astoria and Hannah, they disappeared together and arrived at Malfoy Manor.

As expected, Voldemort and the eldest aunt were waiting at the main gate of the house.

"Draco Malfoy."

The hissing sound like a tongue calling out to myself.

It seemed that Voldemort was much calmer than expected.

Until suddenly,

Every inch of skin burned and burst in unbearable pain.

I knelt on the ground, my forehead pressed against the earth, and my gums bled before I understood.

Voldemort was extremely angry because he lost his weapon and his whereabouts were exposed.

Soon after the pain disappeared, four creatures were discovered to be flying into the air out of control.

The weak body was tied up by the air like a cross and came in front of Voldemort.

The pale knuckles and overlong nails coldly touched the center of the forehead, stroked the bridge of the nose, and slightly below the lips.

He smelled a sickening smell of blood on Voldemort's index finger.

Finally, it stays in the slightly concave neck where the clavicles meet.

"The Dark Lord is very disappointed with the Malfoys, but he is not without mercy."

He spoke slowly and his breathing was long and thin, almost inhuman.

"The Malfoys have assisted the Dark Lord a lot after all."

Even though he couldn't move, Draco could still clearly sense

Voldemort's breath, his scarlet gaze, and his fingertips lightly touching his upper body,

Once again, I let myself fall from my hair to my feet, trembling helplessly in fear.

"This is an important task, and it is also the last kindness we can give to the Malfoy family to atone for their sins."

Even when looking at Voldemort, he could see his eyelashes trembling.

“Choose well in the coming year.”

"Kill Dumbledore or exterminate his clan."

"This is your mission."

Blurred consciousness, behind Voldemort's threat,

The voices of Dumbledore and Grindelwald could be heard faintly.

“You’re going to have those experiences.”

"One day, you will understand."

"Now, I'm just thankful that that will be you."

I fell heavily to the ground, and my knees and elbows were still aching.

He used up all his remaining strength to hold up his upper body, but his lower limbs were still unable to continue.

Lifting my face, in all my weakness,

Looking at the demon with a snake-like face that was looking down upon him.

The moment their eyes met, Voldemort showed a look of satisfaction and contempt.

It invaded my soul like a dark tide.

Watching Voldemort's favorite python come to his mother's feet,

Draco nodded, devastated.

Then he remembered the warning given to Harry on the platform.

I will pay the price.

In the study of number 13 Grimmauld Place, the lingering sound of the meditation basin drifted away.

"Sister, if possible, could you help me pass this on to Sirius?"

"I hope he won't just have disgust anymore."
