Harry Potter: Miss Malfoy
Chapter 109 Christmas Card
Just walk back to the castle steps quietly.
Draco was concentrating on his thoughts and was about to step into the entrance hall, but was suddenly grabbed by Harry's sleeve.
Looking back on the steps, he found Harry staring at him.
Thinking of how she had ignored Harry during the last stretch of the journey, she blushed in embarrassment at her own rudeness.
This made Draco's face look even more beautiful, and Harry smiled.
"You're coming home for Christmas, right?"
Draco nodded.
"Well...Merry early Christmas, Draco."
Harry said, pulling a card from his robes.
The sudden surprise made Draco feel shy.
"Merry...Christmas...ha...ha..."
My rapid breathing was hard to calm down, and I tried hard to calm down.
Harry found himself at a loss and still showing a smug smile, which made people angry.
"Merry Christmas, Potter."
I tried to say Harry's name, but it just wouldn't come out.
Out of shame and anger, I gave up calling him by his name.
At the same time, he was anxiously cursing in his heart, wondering why he suddenly attacked him when he was distracted and thinking about serious things.
-
In the forbidden forest, a ginger cat arched its back and slid over the man's ankles, purring.
The man's face, which should have been very handsome, now only showed signs of vicissitudes and displeasure.
Marking in place, mumbling to himself.
"What the hell are Dumbledore and Remus doing?"
"Why is Harry hanging out with the descendants of Death Eaters?"
"Could it be that Sneezy..."
His anxious and rapid speech made him seem even crazier.
"Damn, she looks just like my damn cousin..."
-
On the express train back home for the Christmas holidays, the soft sound of a lyre came from the D car.
The melody was soft. Draco and Pansy leaned against each other's shoulders, looking ahead at Daphne, who was plucking the strings of the harp quietly, letting Astoria act coquettishly in her arms.
It is quiet and harmonious, just like the quiet time when the girls take a nap in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room after having afternoon tea during the holidays.
As the music flowed, Draco kept thinking of the card he received last night:
/?Honey
Draco,
Merry Christmas.
yours,
Harry/
Just a few simple words were enough to make Draco think of her over and over again in his dreams.
What’s even more difficult is that I stayed up all night thinking about how to return the gift.
Thinking of this, even with Daphne's elegant piano music accompanying me, I still couldn't help feeling troubled.
"What should I give you..."
I was shocked to realize that I blurted out something, and the consequences of my gaffe were of course predictable.
As expected, Pansy came closer with a sly smile on her face. The soft voice suddenly stopped.
Daphne had noticed early on that Draco was worried and distressed, so she brought Draco's favorite musical instrument with her to comfort her.
Facing Draco, who has been polite and arrogant since childhood, Daphne and Pansy each have their own way of talking to him.
Pansy likes to let Draco find out that troubles can be easily forgotten through laughter.
Daphne chose to accompany Draco with music, letting him speak freely while she listened silently.
Realizing that Pansy wanted to tease Draco and had the intention of prying into his mind, Daphne naturally stopped playing the lyre.
"Your face is so red, Draco. Could it be..."
"I'm worrying about what Christmas present to give that guy." Pansy obviously understood Daphne's thoughts and winked at her as she spoke.
"I...I don't have any worries!"
He hastily denied it, but saw Daphne and Pansy smiling and exchanging glances.
"Don't worry, I've already decided what to give you."
Pansy whispered teasingly into Draco's ear.
The moment the hot breath touched his ears, Draco couldn't help but shrink, and was frightened to find a tingling sensation creeping up his waist.
"Too close! Pervert!"
With blushing cheeks, she scolded Pansy anxiously, but was suddenly hugged by her.
"Oh, you're so cute when you're shy, what if you seduce someone?"
Pansy hugged Draco and looked at Astoria with a lively smile.
Draco was filled with shame and anger, but also with helplessness. He looked at Daphne for help, and found that Daphne was also looking at him with a half-smile, with pleasant dimples.
His face turned even redder.
"Astoria will protect Sister Draco!"
"I will hunt down strange people like I hunt down Slug Potter."
Even as she bared her teeth, Astoria still nestled in her sister's arms like a kitten.
"Astoria, is class stressful?"
Daphne asked with a slightly worried smile as she stroked her little sister's hair. Pansy made a playful face at Daphne.
"It's not because of schoolwork. It's about protecting Draco, right?"
Astoria nodded continuously, and Pansy let go of Draco and reached out her hand to Astoria.
"Let's go! Sister will take you to buy frog potter."
Taking advantage of Draco's moment of shame and anger and silence, he and Astoria escaped.
Soon after Pansy and Astoria stepped out of the carriage, Daphne sat down next to Draco, who was still a little angry.
She placed her palm gently on the back of Draco's hand and spoke with her usual tenderness.
“Sometimes, just a simple reply card can make someone happy.”
Hearing this, Draco lowered his already blushing face.
I knew that Daphne, who shared the same room with me, had noticed my worried look at the cards last night.
"What if... it's not just cards, but not too exaggerated...?"
He asked carefully, with a frankness that only appeared in front of Daphne.
"If it were me, I would give it to the person so that they can carry it with them and use it daily,"
"But because of this, it is not easy to recognize that it is a gift from a special person."
Daphne smiled slightly, leaving behind the problem that had troubled Draco for the previous part of the holiday.

I walked into the house with the care and warm words of my parents, and caught a glimpse of a letter from the Ministry of Magic that had just been opened by a letter opener next to the letter box in the entrance.
It was not until after dinner in the living room that his father handed him the letter.
It was only then that we learned that the school directors had handed Buckbeak over to the Dangerous Creatures Office of the Ministry of Magic for handling.
The commissioners have also decided to hold a hearing for Buckbeak.
Although it was called a hearing, this private letter signed by the majority of the committee members clearly showed that the majority had already been inclined to sentence Buckbeak to death...
