Different World Card Fight

Chapter 215: Seeking the Way

Jiang Jun didn't know what had affected him. His whole mind was greatly affected and he was almost controlled by chaotic negative emotions.

The strange appearance of the Nine-Colored Pillar of Heaven seemed to appear before my eyes, but I didn't know what effect it would have.

Let’s not talk about Jiang Jun’s situation for now and look at the source of these negative emotions.

The Buddha Kingdom in the palm of Shakyamuni Buddha's hand is not just for them to experience the situation in the world of the Buddha Kingdom in the palm of his hand. Even Shakyamuni himself may not understand the profound meaning of it.

In the world of the Buddha in the palm of the hand, it seemed that corresponding worlds were created to influence the minds of the three people in response to their different situations. It could even be said that it was developed specifically for their situations.

Picking chrysanthemums under the eastern fence, leisurely seeing the southern mountains...

At this moment, the Bodhi tree man is in a state of tranquility and contentment, just like Zhuang Zhou dreaming of a butterfly, completely lost in such a peaceful state of mind.

It must be said that the Buddha Kingdom in the Palm is too targeted. Although Bodhi Tree Man understands the Dharma and even remains calm instinctively in many cases. However, such a state is more suitable for a peaceful environment, without any big storms or achievements.

Wait, as long as he can live a stable life, this might be the most suitable place for him.

It's not just because of their characteristics. In theory, unless there are special circumstances, the spirits of plants and trees are basically peaceful and don't like fighting.

So, in this case, as shown in the scene before him, the Bodhi tree man has been completely lost in such an environment. Even his own clear mind and clear spirit can't help him.

On the other hand, what appeared before Maitreya Buddha was the famous 81 difficulties of Buddhism! The 81 difficulties of Buddha did not refer to the 81 difficulties of the journey to the West, but to the enlightenment of Buddha under the Bodhi tree before he attained enlightenment. At the critical moment when he was about to attain enlightenment, the devil from another world descended on him and caused him to go through 81 difficulties in reincarnation.

They tried to confuse Sakyamuni and make him lose himself in a certain world.

This method of transforming into an incarnation of disaster has become a test for Buddhist monks.

For example, the eighty-one incarnations of Guanyin, Pudu Cihang, Nanhai Guanyin, Songzi Guanyin, etc., are all incarnations of Guanyin in the catastrophe of enlightenment or in the Three Thousand Worlds.

There are also famous works like "Ananda's Love", "The Peacock King of the Snow Mountain", etc., which are all like this.

You know, even Sakyamuni Buddha survived the catastrophe and attained Buddhahood by staying clear-minded under the Bodhi tree and being blessed by the good fortune of creating the Buddhist path.

And now, what Maitreya Buddha is facing is nothing but the tribulation that Sakyamuni experienced when he attained enlightenment.

Maitreya Buddha is known as the future Buddha. After the Buddha's death, Mahakasyapa inherited the Buddha's throne until Ananda became the successor of the Dharma propagation. He entered Jiuzu Mountain and entered into a state of meditation, waiting for the birth of Maitreya Buddha, before entering Nirvana. In other words, it is still unknown whether the so-called future Maitreya Buddha will actually encounter his own catastrophe. Therefore, even if he is facing only a phantom replica of Sakyamuni's catastrophe, Maitreya Buddha is deeply trapped in it.

It will be difficult to recover in a short time.

In fact, not to mention that Maitreya Buddha is already deeply trapped and unable to control himself, even if Maitreya Buddha could stay awake, I am afraid he would not be willing to come out without thoroughly experiencing the 81 difficulties.

As for Wang Su, he was the most critical one among the three, and his situation was unexpectedly bad. Fundamentally speaking, even if the Buddha Kingdom in the Palm was used to fight the enemy, Sakyamuni Buddha would not allow his magical powers to become a tool for killing. So although the Buddha Kingdom in the Palm had some effects on the weaknesses of the mind and even tortured the original heart,

But it won't push people to the brink of despair.

But it was not the case with Wang Su. Although the Confucian monks were righteous and upright, they were unparalleled in the world. However, as the saying goes, the pen of history is like a knife, and they often cannot escape the constraints of their own threshold.

Confucius said to achieve martyrdom, Mencius said to pursue righteousness!

Master of Heaven and Earth!

Loyalty, filial piety, courtesy, righteousness, and integrity!

The Confucian moral principles and norms are even more stringent than the four major precepts and eight major commandments of Buddhism.

Life is what I want, and righteousness is what I want. I cannot have both, so I would rather sacrifice life for righteousness.

However, the choices in the world cannot be explained in such a simple sentence.

Not to mention Yue Wumu's loyalty to the emperor and his willingness to sacrifice his life, because Yue Wumu's attitude towards the importance of heaven, earth, the emperor, parents and teachers was in serious contradiction with his previous view that the people were the most important, the country was second, and the emperor was the least important.

The great Confucian sages should not be loyal to the emperor. The emperor is merely the son of the people of the world, and it is the people of the world that he should be truly responsible for.

Even without talking about the later period, during the Three Kingdoms period, when Wu Hou went to attack Qishan, he was plotted against by Sima Zhongda using a counter-espionage plan and was recalled to the capital by an imperial edict from the later lord. This shows the interests involved.

If faced with such a choice, Wang Su would be in a dilemma.

If he had to abandon the people in the city if he retreated according to the order, the difficulties Wang Su faced would be even more serious. What should he do? This is just a question of loyalty. As the old saying goes, you can't have both loyalty and filial piety, and you can't have both loyalty and righteousness. Basically, when this statement is used, it means either to kill relatives for the sake of justice or to sever ties with one's loyalty. Naturally, personal honor and disgrace cannot be above

The greater the collective safety.

But if this is used, will Wang Su and others be buried with the Han Dynasty?

This is obviously contrary to Wang Su's current behavior. However, from the perspective of ancient sages, the core issue is not loyalty, but benevolence.

From the perspective of benevolence and righteousness, what they need to care about is not the good or bad of the monarch. Otherwise, wouldn't all the Confucian scholars in the world submit to the army of Emperor Liu Bei, who is known for his benevolence and righteousness?

They should focus more on the contribution of a monarch to his people. A monarch who is aggressive and tyrannical is naturally undesirable. So although Cao Cao is known as a treacherous hero, he is doing things for the country and the people anyway. Apart from anything else, the military farming is an epoch-making contribution.

.

But looking back, even so, the construction of the Bronze Sparrow Tower was also done by this guy. There were many things that cost a lot of money and labor. Anyway, these various entanglements are not just that, so Wang Su felt that some of his thoughts had shifted greatly. When he really faced many things, he felt that his stubbornness was not enough.

There is such a sharp contradiction or such an unavoidable paradox. In fact, since the culture of Confucius and Mencius, the Confucian classics were purely for the benefit of the people. However, in the later period of Dong Zhongshu, it changed, perhaps in order to gain a dominant position, and became a means for the superiors to suppress

A tool to control subordinates.

The so-called Three Bonds and Five Constant Virtues and the divine right of kings were all products of that time. As a result, a great differentiation had already appeared between pure scholars and civil officials.

So, it was only at this time that Wang Su realized such a sharp contradiction. This paradox seemed to become unsolvable, and Wang Su himself could not find a reason to free himself.

Therefore, Wang Su got himself into this illusion, not only was he influenced by the Buddha Kingdom, but he was also constantly questioning his own heart. The three of them were trapped in the Buddha Kingdom in the palm of Sakyamuni and could not extricate themselves. Some of these things seemed to pass their negative emotions to Jiang Jun through some channels, which made Jiang Jun also affected by these negative emotions.

The influence of emotions.

Just as the nine-colored pillar of heaven appeared in front of Jiang Jun, the three people in the Buddha's kingdom in the palm of Sakyamuni Buddha were also covered with a layer of nine-colored light, which instantly separated them from the surrounding environment.

The nine-colored pillar in front of Jiang Jun was shining brightly, and a series of milky white runes and seal characters appeared. I didn't know what kind of fonts these were, but they were imprinted in Jiang Jun's mind in an instant.

"Heaven moves vigorously, and a gentleman strives to constantly strive for self-improvement!"

"The terrain is poor, and a gentleman carries his wealth with kindness!"

A gentleman should be like the sky, constantly moving; even if he is displaced, he will remain unyielding; if you are a gentleman, your tolerance for things should be like the earth, which can bear nothing.

At this moment, Jiang Jun felt not only the grandeur and greatness of the world, but also the greatness of the world, just as the two classic sentences before him said.

At this moment, Jiang Jun even felt the faith coming from the nine-color light!

Study and seek the truth! It doesn't matter whether you major in Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism, Legalism, Mohism or Logic.

The important thing is to first have an ultimate goal, a goal worth pursuing and worthy of our unwavering determination.

Therefore, in the process of seeking the truth we must be like the sky, striving for self-improvement, being resolute and strong, working hard and never stopping. Returning to the basics is summed up in the word "constant self-improvement".

When facing different "comrades", even if their doctrines are opposite or even diametrically opposed, we cannot reject, belittle or ignore them from the bottom of our hearts.

A gentleman should be like the earth, accumulating virtues and accommodating all things.

For this reason, in the process of seeking the truth, we must be able to accommodate all things like the earth, and not deprive the grass of the right to grow just because it is humble, nor deny it nutrients just because some plants are ugly and crude.

Of course, even the earth will not blindly and limitlessly accommodate everything.

There are tiny grasses and towering trees; there are trickling streams and rushing rivers; there are plains and towering mountains...

There is only one standard for all of this, and that is I am your goal of self-improvement. Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism cannot have the same spiritual thoughts. A Taoist who is quiet and inaction cannot become an official, a free and easy person cannot flatter the emperor; a compassionate monk cannot march to war or attack a city.

Roughly.

Similarly, Confucian scholars who care about the world cannot really travel around. Even if they are in opposition, they still pay attention to the various situations in the court. However, they are all seekers, have their own goals, and strive for them at the same time!
