People in Hogwarts, holding scripts and systems

Chapter 57: A warm moment between father and daughter (revised)

"Hello, my name is Ginny Weasley"

Ginny was very grateful for his help just now, which prevented her from being hit by the book. However, she noticed that even when Noah greeted her, his eyes did not leave his good friend.

But Noah’s real thought was to think about whether his posture just now was handsome or not?

However, the real protagonist didn't care about all this.

Ginny did not remind the boy who was obviously drunk and had other intentions. She preferred the subtle tricks to the above-board campus idol dramas.

Who said Hogwarts is boring? It’s obviously very happy!

His eyes, with a playful smile, lingered between the two of them for a few times, leaving Afro, confused, looking up at the sky.

The exciting journey to Diagon Alley ended with the start of Lockhart's book signing event.

The Campbells returned from the Leaky Axe to their car on the Muggle street just as they had come.

Campbell Manor

"Little Afro, do you have time?" In the evening, Mr. Campbell knocked on Afro's door with a plate of dessert.

Afro, who had teased Tom, quickly hid the diary in a drawer.

"of course."

After getting permission, Mr. Campbell opened the door, put down the things in his hands, and sat on the reclining chair.

As he watched Afro packing her luggage, he suddenly realized that his daughter had grown up without him noticing.

She has grown taller and more beautiful, just like her mother. No wonder so many boys like her.

Have the same vision as him and be able to discover the most lovable people in the world.

"dad?"

Afro noticed that his old father had not said a word since he came in and just sat there motionless.

"Little Afu has grown up." Mr. Campbell choked up a little as he spoke, and in the candlelight, one could see a gleam of water in his golden eyes.

"Dad, I'm already twelve years old!"

Afro puffed out her chest with pride, emphatically reminding her age.

She walked up to Mr. Campbell, took his arm and leaned over, rubbing his shoulder coquettishly.

Mr. Campbell raised his hand and stroked her long hair up and down, his eyes full of memories, "I still remember a little kid who was one year old and still drooling."

"Dad, it happened so long ago, how can you still remember it?" Afro pouted and lowered her head embarrassedly, as if she didn't want to mention those embarrassing things.

Mrs. Campbell pushed the door open worriedly, and through the crack saw the father and daughter tenderly reminiscing about their childhood. A gentle smile appeared on the corners of her mouth. She quietly closed the door to leave space for them.

"Brother-in-law, are you okay?" Noah leaned against the wall of the stairs and saw Mrs. Campbell walking out with a smile on her face.

"Your brother-in-law just dotes on Afro too much." Mrs. Campbell thought of how Mr. Campbell exaggeratedly told her this afternoon how bad Afro's friends were, how picky they were about her hair color and her family background.

He also threatened to assassinate them. After all, he was a wizard and he could hide the scene.

What a little kid who never grows up.

Mr. Campbell in the room didn't know that his wife was talking behind his back about him being stingy and jealous.

He is still enjoying some alone time with his baby girl.

"There's something I've been wanting to talk to you about for a long time." Mr. Campbell cleared his throat twice and glanced at Afro who was leaning against him with a somewhat unnatural expression.

"I know it's hard, but I care about you so much."

Mr. Campbell helped Afro up and met her eyes. The seriousness on his face made Afro sit up straight.

Could it be that her systematic affairs were discovered?

What should she say? Confess? Say she traveled through time?

Will she be treated as a dark wizard?

You're not going to set her on fire!

Mr. Campbell didn't know that his deliberately solemn expression had caused his daughter's thoughts to wander to how she would be reincarnated.

"I know you've grown up, and you're curious and ignorant about some things."

"But for your safety, we must set some boundaries so that we can share our feelings more trustingly and fairly."

"From the first time you appeared in my life, small and soft, I felt unprecedented happiness and helplessness."

Afro had never seen Mr. Campbell like this, confused, hesitant and sad. She squeezed into her old father's arms, hoping he would stop talking.

She sounded sad.

Mr. Campbell did not stop because of Afro's actions. He patted Afro's back soothingly, and his deep voice slowly expressed the old father's worries and fears.

"I don't know if I can be a good father and protect my baby. So I grew up with you, I learned how to be a father, and you learned how to grow up."

"I can feel that there's been a distance between us lately, as if you've been pulled away from me."

"Little Afu, Daddy is beginning to miss every little bit of you being by my side when you were little, when we played baseball and did handicrafts together..."

A tear fell on Afro's neck, burning her heart and making her tremble. She had never felt such a strong fatherly love.

Just like the sea water wrapped around her, gentle and warm.

"I know you are growing up, and there is more to life than just you and me. I just hope that as you continue to grow, you can leave three inches of space for your poor old father."

"if you do not mind."

Afro hugged Mr. Campbell and cried breathlessly. She tightened her arms again and again and hid herself in her father's arms.

"Of course, Dad!"

Afro raised her red and swollen eyes and said to Mr. Campbell with a smile: "I will always be Daddy's little baby and never leave!"

"Little fool, how can a daughter stay at home forever!" Mr. Campbell's fingertips gently brushed the corners of Afro's eyes and pinched Afro's little nose lovingly.

Afro put his arms around Mr. Campbell's neck and said stubbornly that he would stay at home forever.

But Afro didn't see that Mr. Campbell behind him had a hint of a triumphant smile in his eyes.

……

"Little Afu..." 23 felt so distressed when he saw Afuro's red eyes.

"Dad's speech was very good." Afro's hands that were packing clothes paused as she thought of the grown man crying in front of her.

She also likes to pamper her stingy dad.

She would never admit that what she just said was her true feelings!

23: It turns out that I am the only one who gives true love!

Mrs. Campbell, who was sitting at the dressing table taking care of her skin, saw her husband return to the bedroom with a happy face, and she knew that Afro would be able to comfort this jealous man.

Mr. Campbell took the finished draft from his pajama pocket and tucked it into his favorite book.

He lay in bed happily again, imagining a future in which his little girl would always be by his side.

September 1st is the first day of school around the world.

Whether you are a middle school student, an elementary school student, a Muggle or a wizard, you will return to the campus that you love and hate on this day.

Because Arthur was working overtime, Molly asked Mr. Campbell to take the children to the station together. She was not familiar with how to book a Muggle car trip.

Considering that there were so many children traveling, Mr. Campbell directly borrowed the royal family's special fleet.

Then, a strange phenomenon occurred at King's Cross Station.

A total of eight children got out of a stretched luxury car with royal emblems!

(A tribute to the director's letter at the end of the third season of "Stranger Things". Yogurt really likes that father's monologue.)
