People in Hogwarts, holding scripts and systems
Chapter 54: Brace's Pa
The holiday life passed day by day as I teased AI Tom or played with my uncle Noah from time to time.
As early as the end of August, Hogwarts sent the list of students for the new semester to Campbell Manor, as well as Noah's admission letter.
"Come on, Noah, call me senior sister, let me hear it!"
Afro snatched the list from Noah's hand and stared at him with a smirk on her face, as if she would not give the list back to him unless he asked her to.
"Don't be disrespectful, I'm your uncle!"
Noah always considered himself an elder, and was always very tolerant of Afro's unreasonable fussing about age and address. He continued to read the book in his hand, letting her laugh and play.
Afro also felt that it was boring to tease Noah like this all the time, so she threw the list into Noah's arms, sat down on the sofa, and kicked his leg with her foot.
"Let's go to Diagon Alley together tomorrow?"
Noah found the list of supplies and looked at the long book titles on it. He threw the parchment on the ground with disgust, as if he had seen something disgusting.
"Hogwarts is such a heavy workload!"
Afro glanced at the balled-up parchment and vaguely saw the words "Lockhart" and "Traveling with Ghouls" between the gaps.
She had almost forgotten that this year's Defense Against the Dark Arts professor had been replaced by a show-off - Lockhart.
The Campbells drove their two children to experience the feeling of entering Diagon Alley from the Broken Axe.
Mainly because Afro wanted to see what the Broken Axe Bar looked like, she asked Mr. Campbell to drive them to Diagon Alley.
Mr. Campbell, who dotes on his daughter, is naturally very willing to be Afro's driver.
They were like ordinary Muggles, squeezed into the congested London roads, and when they were stuck in traffic, they always envied the smooth traffic on the opposite lane.
"Oh my God, Harry and the others and I made an appointment to meet at Flourish and Blotts!"
Afro said anxiously as he looked at the numbers jumping on the dashboard.
When Mr. Campbell heard that he was going to meet that brat, he couldn't help but pray that the traffic jam would slow down a little!
But no matter how much he prayed, the car slowly drove to the door of the Broken Axe Bar.
Afro looked up at the dirty and narrow shop on the street, and the corners of his eyes twitched a few times.
Fortunately, Muggles can’t see it, otherwise, with this dining environment, the Market Supervision Administration would have to call the boss for a talk in minutes!
Mr. Campbell pushed open the dusty and stained door of the bar and carefully escorted Afro and the other two in.
"Hello, Mr. Campbell!" Tom, the owner of the Broken Axe Bar, stood behind the bar with his back hunched, wiping the wine glass in his hand, and greeted Mr. Campbell like an old friend.
"Hello, Tom. I'm taking my daughter to Diagon Alley to buy school supplies." Mr. Campbell's words were full of pride and boasting when he talked about Afro. The protagonist Afro lowered her head shyly.
She felt that her father must have something in common with Cedric's father, as they were both people who loved showing off their children.
"Xiao Afu, why is he also called Tom?" When 23 heard that the bar owner and the villain had the same name, he was so scared that his code went haywire. It almost jumped out!
"A popular name, like Zhang Wei. If you shout it out on the street, ten people will turn around and look at you."
After Mr. Campbell finally satisfied his desire to show off his daughter, he took Avro and the other two through the wall in the small patio to Diagon Alley.
Behind them, boss Tom wiped the sweat from his forehead. He was going to be annoyed to death if they didn't leave!
Could Diggory and Campbell please stop coming to his bar!
The four people in the Campbell group were divided into two groups. Mrs. Campbell took Noah, who came to Diagon Alley for the first time, to buy things; while Mr. Campbell, who accidentally heard his daughter's date with the brat, followed Afro with ulterior motives.
"Hermione!"
Afro followed the direction of the crowd and walked for a while. At a glance, he saw Hermione squeezed in front of the crowded bookstore.
Afro stood on tiptoe and raised her hands desperately, shouting Hermione's name loudly.
The entrance of the bookstore was so crowded that many witches gathered here holding a book in their hands.
Afro was swayed left and right by the crowd and was about to fall.
At this moment, a pair of strong arms grabbed her waist, and Afro was caught off guard and bumped into a hot chest.
His fair little face was sunken into his muscular chest beneath his shirt, and his breath was filled with the unique scent of a teenager.
It's like walking in an alley full of mangoes, the scent of green mangoes hits you in the face, sweet and sour yet bitter.
"How long will Miss Aphrodite stay in my arms?"
A teasing voice came from above her head, and Afro could feel her Adam's apple moving up and down on her forehead. Although the boy said that Afro was lying in his arms, in fact his arms were tightly pressed against her waist like a branding iron.
"Thank you, Bryce." A little bit of red could be set off by Afro's fair and tender face, and she grabbed Bryce's collar to stand firmly. Bryce exerted force on his hands, and Afro threw herself into his arms again.
"Sorry!" Bryce said sorry with a smile in his eyes.
After Afro stood firm again, before she could ask Bryce to let go, she was frightened by the sudden voice of Mr. Campbell and slipped, and was held in Bryce's arms again.
"Ahem, little Afu!" Mr. Campbell cleared his throat, pushed the two people apart, then stood between them and looked at Bryce with a smile.
"Hello, I'm Afro's father."
When Bryce heard the identity of the visitor, he immediately put away the smile on his face, replaced it with a cold and distant look, and shook Mr. Campbell's hand.
"Hello, Mr. Campbell, my name is Blaise Zabini, a friend of Avro."
Mr. Campbell held Brace's hand tightly with one hand, with a polite smile on his face, and looked the boy up and down.
Peach blossom eyes, not good! Like a playboy and scumbag!
He didn't even wear his shirt properly, and deliberately unbuttoned two buttons! It's obvious that he always deceives girls!
Bryce felt the force on the back of the hand and frowned. He didn't know if Mr. Campbell had seen everything he had just done. He hoped to leave a good impression.
The two people, each with their own ulterior motives, reveal an eerie harmony.
"Aphrodite!"
Hermione, who was waiting at the door, noticed a gap in the crowd, and Aphrodite was standing in the middle of the gap.
"Hermione! I missed you so much!"
“I miss you the most!”
"I'm the best!"
"Okay, okay, you're the best!"
The two girls walked through the crowd and hugged each other tightly. The same hair accessories revealed the close relationship between the two.
Hermione touched Afro's blonde hair with sparkling eyes, and Afro complimented her new clothes.
They walked hand in hand and chattered about the fun in their lives.
Even though these things have been said many times in their letters.
(The scent of Brays is based on the men's fragrance - Gardens of the Nile)
