Chapter 399 1 Family
"Harry!"
He turned around and saw Professor McGonagall, wearing a black robe and a black wizard hat, walking quickly towards him around the lake shore.
"I've always wanted to talk to you..." Professor McGonagall glanced at Aphrodite obliquely, and the girl took a few steps back and left the lakeside.
"I'll walk with you." Harry sniffed and said hoarsely.
He put his hand on Professor McGonagall's arm and walked forward again.
"Harry, I know you were very close to Dumbledore, much to your pain," Professor McGonagall said softly. "I think you were his favorite student."
Harry silently accompanied Professor McGonagall along the shore of the Black Lake, around the dense bushes, and gradually away from the crowd.
Professor McGonagall glanced back at Scrimgeour, who was chatting with others in the crowd, and then stopped.
"Harry, listen." She grabbed Harry's sleeve tightly, looked him in the eyes and said, "Dumbledore would like you not to return to Hogwarts next term -"
"Professor, will Hogwarts be closed?" Harry looked up at the castle and his smile disappeared.
"No, no, Hogwarts will never be closed." Professor McGonagall said quickly, "Dumbledore just asked me to tell you this at the right time, and I think now is the best time."
As she spoke she pulled out a wax-sealed letter from her robes and handed it to Harry.
"Wait until you get on the train and watch it."
When Harry returned to the crowd, Ron was lying in Afro's arms, crying sadly.
"What does Professor McGonagall want to see you about?" Hermione asked in a low voice.
"Pass on some words from Dumbledore."
"Hogwarts is the safest place. There are many wizards guarding it." Ron wiped his face with the back of his hand, then reached out to hook Aphrodite's finger, but was pushed away by Draco in disgust.
"Even so, I don't plan to come back." Harry said calmly.
Several people stared at him in surprise. Afro grinned and said, "I knew you would say that. What are your plans?"
"I'm going back to the Dursleys first, and then to Godric's Hollow to see my parents."
Harry had been thinking about this since the night Dumbledore died, and for him, the origin of everything was there.
Perhaps in Godric's Hollow he could find the whereabouts of the last two Horcruxes.
"I'll go with you." Avro looked at the reflection of Dumbledore's white grave in the water. Hagrid's wailing could be heard in the distance.
"What?" Harry stared at her with wide eyes. He had not expected this. He had planned to embark on this journey alone.
"Don't try to get rid of us, man." Blaise leaned against a tree, playing with his wand in his hand.
"No—" Harry said quickly.
"We are a team, Pott, why don't you act in unity?" Draco said to him with a stern face.
"No matter what happens, we're here for you," Fred and George said in unison, patting Harry's shoulders respectively.
"We are a family, Harry." Afro held his hand and said softly.
Harry's hand involuntarily clenched hers. Although the road ahead was dark and tortuous, and although he had to face Voldemort, he thought he had already grasped the sunshine in his heart, and he could still enjoy peaceful days with Aphrodite and his friends.
"So we have to discuss again and make a plan." Theodore tore off their clasped hands and replaced them with his own.
Ron raised a hand excitedly and began to speak, "Let's go back to the Burrow first, and then make other plans."
Harry looked at the sun rising in the distance, and at the moment he felt extremely happy.
The crowd at the funeral had almost dispersed. Some students went home with their parents who had come to the funeral.
There were also some students who needed to take the bus and walked towards the platform in groups of two or three.
Afro looked past the teenagers who were excitedly discussing their holiday plans and saw Neville with red eyes, dragging his suitcase and hurrying on his way.
"Neville."
She called the boy.
Neville looked up in the direction of the voice, and when he found it was Afro, he quickly lowered his head, trying to pretend he hadn't heard it and leave.
Afro took two quick steps and stopped in front of Neville, "Don't you have anything to say?"
Seeing that Neville was still pretending not to hear, Afro smiled and crossed his arms.
"Well, I won't be back next semester anyway, so I wish you a happy vacation."
Seeing the girl preparing to leave, Neville raised his head in panic and met her smiling eyes.
"What? Are you finally willing to look up?"
Neville's ears flushed, and he rolled up the corner of his clothes with one hand, "I'm sorry, Afro--"
he said quietly.
Neville's grandmother is a very good wizard, but since his parents got into trouble, his grandmother has become a little neurotic.
Since he was a child, his grandmother has trained him in many strange skills, such as making him resistant to some potions.
This includes love potions.
This led to why he accidentally ate chocolate mixed with love potion that morning, but was not as seriously injured as Ron.
But he still accidentally exposed his inner thoughts.
Those secrets that cannot be told.
"I'm sorry, Afro." Neville repeated again. He lowered his head and looked at the tip of his shoes. He looked at the distance between them, which was so close, but they could never touch each other. "I, I won't affect your life-"
I will keep it quietly in my heart.
Neville added in his mind.
Afro looked at Neville's cautious look and frowned slightly, "Neville, I don't mean to blame you."
She reached out her hand to comfort him, but pulled it back the moment it touched the top of his head.
"Thank you for your love."
Afro had already felt his love for her, but she already had many boyfriends who loved her and whom she loved.
Neville's nose felt sore. He resisted the moisture in his eyes and tried hard to force a smile.
"Have a nice vacation, Aphrodite."
After saying that, he carried the heavy suitcase and his mood over Afro's body.
Neville thought that perhaps the girl in his heart would never know that the hand stretched out towards him against the sunlight against the blue background had appeared in his dreams countless times at midnight.
It’s just that the hand in the dream was held in his palm.
In the moonlit Nott Manor, two figures appeared one after another in the alley of the garden.
They stood motionless, facing each other, their wands pointed at each other.
The next second, the two people recognized each other and put their wands back into their cloaks.
"Any news?" asked the taller man, his hair glowing dimly in the moonlight.
But one could vaguely see that his hair was an unusual misty blue color, as unruly as its owner.
"It couldn't be better." A gloomy voice replied.
