Chapter 371: Celebrity Troubles
On the last day of summer vacation, Molly kept urging them to pack their luggage quickly so as to avoid having to cram at the last minute.
Afro, holding the newly bought books, bumped into Bill on the second floor platform. Bill held the shaky books with one hand and held Afro's waist with the other to stabilize her body.
"If it were me, I wouldn't go to the hallway right now," Bill reminded her with a smile, and took the things in her arms with both hands naturally, "It's a mess there."
Fred and George experimented with new products in the kitchen and made a mess of the kitchen and living room.
Molly was giving her two troublesome sons a lesson.
Even though Fred and George have proven their choice with the joke shop, that doesn't mean Molly will allow them to experiment at home!
"...Don't bring them into the kitchen again!" Molly was standing by the automatically peeled purple cabbage with an unhappy look on her face. She kept talking to the twins who were lowering their heads and smiling.
Afro and Bill walked in and Fred and George waved hello.
"Ah, dear," Molly said loudly, interrupting her lecture to the children by Avro's arrival. "I was just about to tell you about the safety measures for returning to school tomorrow."
"Dad has borrowed a car from the Ministry of Magic, and Aurors will also be at the station for protection." Percy handed the Quidditch to Bill, walked to Avro as if no one was around, and raised his hand to wipe the stains off her face.
"Cough cough..." Molly coughed twice unconsciously. She warned Percy not to touch her.
The next morning, before they set off, Fred and George took Afro to their room, and they clingy kissed her for a long time before letting her go.
"We won't see each other for another three months." Fred hugged the girl's waist, wishing he could make her smaller and put her in his pocket.
Afro touched his face amusedly, "We can write letters."
"How can words compare to sweethearts." George pinched Afro's chin, turned her face towards him, and then left a series of wet kisses on the corners of her mouth.
Before Afro ran out of breath, he pushed the boy's chest.
"Okay... um... okay, I still need to... take the bus..."
Fred carefully adjusted the girl's collar and finally kissed her forehead.
“Remember to write to us.”
Percy drove them to King's Cross Station. Afro held the soft little fox in his arms and looked at the boy who was concentrating on driving from the side.
"When did Percy learn to drive?"
His slender fingers tapped the steering wheel twice, and then while waiting for the traffic light, he turned his head and looked at the girl whose eyes were fixed on him.
"When little Afu drove her car into the sky in the second grade, I felt it was necessary to learn this skill."
Percy paused, resting his free hand on top of her head, and continued, "In case you need a car someday, I can help you out so you don't get into danger."
Afro looked at the boy with a very serious expression, and felt a little sore in his throat for a moment.
Those unimportant, exciting and adventurous things in her mind may be so important in the mind of another person.
Along the way, Afro did not bring up the topic again.
Before getting on the car, Afro hugged Percy tightly, stood on tiptoes, and kissed him on the cheek.
"Goodbye, Percy," she said hoarsely.
"Goodbye, little Afu."
Percy's hand caressed her lips, his eyes staring at Afro. In the end, he couldn't help it and lowered his head to pursue his love.
Afro said goodbye to Percy with a blushing face. Ron looked expectant and quickly went up to Afro.
He looked at her with a flushed face, hesitating as he tried to say something.
Then he fell face first into the dirt.
Ginny calmly withdrew her foot and pulled Hermione away from the platform without looking back.
"Ron and I are going to the prefects' carriage." Hermione said to them apologetically after getting on the bus.
Ginny dragged her suitcase and went to find a new box hand in hand with Luna who was waiting for her.
The students in the corridor did not hide their curiosity, pressing their faces against the glass to watch Harry pass by them.
From time to time, the little wizards would hold newspapers, point at Harry, and turn around to say something to their companions.
Avro and Harry already knew that they were discussing nothing more than what had happened at the Ministry last term, and the change in attitude towards Harry in the newspapers.
"Hey, Afro!" A familiar voice came from behind.
"Neville?" Afro turned around and saw a round-faced boy struggling to squeeze over here. "How was your vacation?"
"Very well, thank you." Neville blushed and answered Afro's question shyly.
Afro always thought that Neville was an introverted little boy. Every time he talked to her, he would blush and dare not look up at her.
After searching around and finding no empty seats, the three of them had to share a seat with Luna.
"Ginny isn't with you?" Afro turned around and didn't see the red-haired girl.
Luna's face is covered with a pair of complimentary glasses that make her look like a colorful owl.
She held up The Quibbler and peered over the top of the magazine. "She went to see Dean."
"Dean?" Harry repeated, puzzled.
"Ginny's new boyfriend," Luna said.
"Luckily Ron and the others aren't here." Afro shrugged and sat next to Luna to look at the new edition of the magazine with her. "Is the magazine still doing well?"
“Thanks to you, circulation has been steadily increasing.”
"Our story was even reported in the Daily Prophet." Neville happily pulled out a new wand from his robe and handed it to Aphrodite.
"Grandma was very happy. She said I looked like Daddy's son and bought me a new wand."
When they were discussing whether to continue the party in the new semester, they heard voices coming from the door of the box.
"Um...hey...Harry Potter, I was wondering if you could sit with us?" A dark-haired first-year walked in boldly.
"No, I want to sit with my girlfriend." Harry raised his and Afro's intertwined hands and said to them coldly.
"Oh!" The little girl looked very surprised. "Well, have a nice day."
After they left, Harry turned his head and met a pair of amusing eyes.
"It seems that Mr. Potter is very popular. They think you are cool." Afro winked at him mischievously, with a playful smile on his face.
Harry leaned over and rubbed his nose against Afro's, "But Afro is also very cool. I like being with Afro the most."
"Just staying together?"
Harry blushed and whispered in her ear, "And kissing."
