Chapter 358 Percy's Performance Debut

Draco's steps suddenly stopped. He grabbed Harry's collar in disbelief and said through gritted teeth, "Who did you say was captured?"

Hermione pulled his hand down and separated the two of them, "Calm down! Let's go find Sirius or Mr. Weasley to confirm first!"

They had no time to plan anything further as they hurried upstairs, where only Umbridge's fireplace was still functional.

"I think it would be better to call a few more people!" Draco suggested.

But Harry didn't want to inform other people as it would waste time, especially since Avro was missing and Percy was in danger.

By chance, they ran into Theodore and Brace discussing the exam on the marble steps of the second floor.

The two men saw them running upstairs in a hurry and followed them without asking any questions.

I met Cedric again at the door of Umbridge's office.

"So what happened?" Cedric saw Harry skillfully take out a knife and put it into the crack of the door, successfully prying the door open.

Hermione briefly recounted Harry's dream. Cedric's brows were slightly furrowed, his eyes full of uneasiness and anxiety.

"We need someone to lure Umbridge away." Theodore responded calmly. Such a big move by them would sooner or later attract the attention of the investigation team.

"I can." Cedric waved the badge of the student union president and said calmly, "She should be happy to resolve conflicts between students."

"You can ask Ginny and Luna for help, so that she can't get close to the office." Hermione tried hard to organize her thoughts and try her best to make their plan a little more perfect.

Harry unfolded the Invisibility Cloak and put it on himself, Ron, and Hermione. "We only need five minutes, please!"

They split up, Cedric pulled Draco to stand in the place where Umbridge had to pass and yelled at him, while Ginny and Luna spread the colorless poisonous gas in the corridor.

Sure enough, Umbridge first dealt with the so-called dispute between Hufflepuff and Slytherin, and then went to find someone to solve the non-existent poison gas.

The anxious Umbridge gradually felt that something was not right, so she quickly called the students from the investigation team to capture Ginny and the others.

Hermione and Ron stood at the office window, looking out warily at the grounds, while Harry grabbed a handful of Floo powder and threw it into the fireplace.

"Number 12, Grimmauld Place!"

After a dizzy spell, his head appeared in the kitchen fireplace.

"Sirius! Sirius, are you there?"

Half a minute later, footsteps were heard from the right side of the fireplace.

"Harry? What happened?" Sirius responded to Harry as he ran down the stairs.

"Did Afro come to see you today?"

After listening to Harry's dream, Sirius could only comfort him, "Don't worry, Harry, I'll go to the Ministry of Magic to find them, don't act rashly..."

"No, Sirius! I…."

Before he could finish his words, he suddenly felt a sharp pain on the top of his head.

Harry took a huge puff of ash, coughing, and found himself being pulled out.

"What a great show!" Umbridge dragged Harry out by the hair. "Do you think you can fool me with such a little trick?"

She pushed Harry's head back harder, forcing him to look up at the ceiling.

"Who are you communicating with through the fireplace? Dumbledore? Hagrid?"

There was a commotion outside the door, and the investigation team walked in with Cedric and a few others.

Their mouths were gagged.

Warrington and Flint laughed ingratiatingly and pushed Hermione and Ron, who wanted to resist, into the house.

"Do you think you can get away with not saying anything?" Umbridge sat on a floral chair and looked at her captives. "Professor Snape has plenty of ways to make you talk."

Harry almost laughed out loud when he heard that she was looking for Snape. Although he was not on good terms with the Gryffindor students, it could not hide the fact.

Snape was a member of the Order of the Phoenix.

Not long after, Flint and Snape pushed the door open and came back together.

"Headmaster, you want to see me?" Snape glanced at the captured students in the room with an indifferent look.

"I need a bottle of Veritaserum, the sooner the better." Umbridge ordered Snape matter-of-factly.

Snape crossed his arms and looked at her coldly. "You used the last bottle to interrogate that girl. You must not have used it up."

"You can still do it can't you?"

"I'll need a month."

Umbridge glared at him fiercely and shouted in a hoarse voice, "They think highly of you! But you are going to disappoint me! Please leave my office now!"

Snape turned to leave, but Harry could wait no longer and cried out, struggling, "He's caught Weatherby where the things are hidden!"

Weatherby, Crouch's nickname for Percy, had been ridiculed by them for a long time.

"Wetherby? Who? What hiding place?" Umbridge looked back and forth between Harry and Snape.

Snape turned his head and looked at them. "I don't know any Weatherby. And Crabbe, if you don't let go, Longbottom will be strangled to death. Unless you prepare a lot of paperwork!"

He swung his robes and slammed the door.

Percy had been lying on the floor with his eyes closed, he felt a few people running towards him, and then heard screams.

Then, he was dragged into a room by two people.

"Percy, can you hear me?"

He heard Afro's voice ringing in his ears, but when he squinted his eyes, he didn't see the girl.

"I used an invisibility spell, so you can't see it."

Percy felt a warm touch on his wrist and knew that Avro was holding his hand.

He moved his eyes to show that he was listening.

"Wait until Harry comes over, then you stand up. Don't do anything now. I have placed several defensive items on you. They can't hurt you."

Percy rolled his eyes twice to the left.

Avro stuffed the system item into Percy's collar and walked over to where Nott and Rookwood were.

"I really didn't cast any spell!" Nott was still defending himself, saying that he did not act on his own.

Rookwood stared at him with a sinister look on his face. "Then why did this man vomit blood and fall to the ground? You almost exposed the master's plan!"

Nott bent down unconvinced and listened to his scolding. In fact, in terms of family reputation, Rookwood could not compare to himself, but who could blame the Nott family for being worse day by day?

He didn't even replace Lucius's former position.

"You're not going to join the Boy-Who-Lived like that traitor, are you?" Bella gently stroked Nott's cheek with her wand, and then poked the tip of the wand in front of his eyes.

Nott was so frightened that he broke out in a cold sweat. He stood before Bella humbly and said in a low voice, "I will not betray my master!"

Bella laughed a little crazily. She lifted Nott's chin hard and spoke slowly.

"Okay, prove it to us."
