People in Hogwarts, holding scripts and systems

Chapter 332: Kiss Under the Mistletoe

Hagrid did not listen to Hermione's persuasion, and in the first class after returning, he stubbornly wanted to take them to see the Thestrals.

The class had just begun when Umbridge came over with the latest instructions.

Hagrid was not surprised to receive a less-than-satisfactory investigation result.

With Christmas approaching, Ron and Hermione, as prefects, have more work to do.

They were asked to supervise the decoration of the castle, and Afro was treated as their helper.

"You go hang the ribbons!" Hermione pulled out a few colorful ribbons and handed them to Ron.

Ron didn't want to go at all because Peeves would suddenly grab the other end of the ribbon and strangle him to death.

While they were decorating the common room, Harry was busy working on his History of Magic paper; he didn't want to celebrate Christmas anyway.

Sirius had not been seen since he disappeared in the fire. He did not want to stay at Hogwarts with Umbridge or spend the holidays with the Dursleys.

The only thing he was looking forward to was the training camp tonight, but after the training, Afro would go home.

"Harry, my mother invites you to the Burrow for the holidays!" Ron shouted to Harry, holding the letter that Piglet had just delivered.

Harry was almost flying with joy.

He turned excitedly to look at Afro who was talking to Simo. He wanted to invite Afro to go with him, but she also had her own parents.

Thinking of this, Harry felt a little lonely again.

"Harry, can you go to the Room of Requirement first today?" Afro noticed Harry's gaze and looked at him with a smile.

"Okay, but you have to go..."

"Aphrodite and I have something to do, right Ron?" Hermione said to him mysteriously, hugging Aphrodite's arm.

Ron nodded blankly.

Harry felt that they were hiding something from him. Were they not best friends anymore?

He knew that he shouldn't doubt his closest partner and companion, but he always thought of Afro and the other two whispering behind his back.

Harry couldn't concentrate on his textbook at all, so he had to go to the Room of Requirement early.

Harry was stunned when all the torches lit up.

The whole room was decorated with golden balls, like wingless golden snitches. On each ball was a picture of Harry, with a line of words engraved below: Merry Christmas, Harry!

He guessed that this idea was definitely not Afro's.

Streamers and horns sounded at the same time, and Harry held the little golden ball and looked in the direction of the sound.

"Merry Christmas, Harry!" Afro threw some colorful paper at him like a fairy scattering flowers.

"Aphrodite~" Harry called her name helplessly.

Afro raised her hands to her cheeks and explained in a surrendering manner: "The little golden ball was Dobby's idea!"

"Miss Aphrodite betrayed Dobby!"

Dobby appeared in the Room of Requirement with a "poof", wearing the colorful sweater given to him by Aphrodite and a small hat knitted by Hermione on his head.

"This picture is so stupid!" Fred took off a small golden ball and carefully examined the head shot on it.

"Dobby is going to tell Harry that these were decorated by Harry's friends together!"

Harry smiled brightly, his green eyes sparkling as if they contained shooting stars.

"Thank you." Harry thanked them sincerely, "Just don't post pictures next time."

Merlin knew how strange it was to see a room full of his own mug shots.

The crowd roared with laughter.

"I thought you would stay in school, so I prepared a surprise for you." Afro complained to Harry while picking up the little golden ball, "but Ron got an invitation today."

"How can this be blamed on me?" Ron howled angrily.

At eight o'clock, all the alliance members arrived on time.

Harry planned to just review the spells he had practiced today, just as a way to relax before the holidays.

"Ron, Hermione." Afro called out the names of two pairs according to the sparring list drawn up a few days ago, "You are the first group."

Everyone stood on both sides, leaving the middle area for the two opponents.

"One Sickle, Hermione will win."

"Just bet."

Fred and George stood beside Afro and predicted the outcome of the battle in advance.

"Aphrodite, baby, do you want to join in?"

Afro shook his head without interest, "Why don't you bet on whether I will win?"

"Do we even need to bet? Sweetheart is definitely the best!" George put his chin on Afro's shoulder and breathed warmly into her ear.

“You don’t even know who I’m competing against.”

"You don't need to know. You are the most powerful in my heart."

"Otherwise, we can't be captured."

I have too many boyfriends, and with them come a lot of sweet words.

Afro's face turned red, and he pushed them away embarrassedly, "Watch the game."

In a flash, Ron had just got into a fighting stance when Hermione swung her arm.

"Collapse!"

Ron was hit by the spell, rolled backwards, and sat on his buttocks on the ground.

The crowd laughed, and George took out a Sickle and handed it to Fred.

"Thank you."

"Shut up, you!"

Ron stood up awkwardly, and when he looked up he saw Afro laughing so hard that her body shook with laughter.

"I have to be a bit classy," he added.

"Very gentlemanly." Afro wiped the tears from the corners of his eyes and agreed with Ron with a smile.

After practicing the Stunning Charm for ten minutes, they spread out the mats and practiced the Obstruction Charm.

An hour passed and Harry asked everyone to stop.

"Everyone practiced very well." Harry looked at everyone with a smile, and when he saw Afro, she smiled at him.

Harry tried hard to resist the desire to get close to Afro, and said calmly to everyone, "After we return from vacation, we should increase the difficulty, such as practicing the Patronus Charm."

Everyone walked out of the room in groups, discussing excitedly. Many people wished Harry a Merry Christmas, and he was in a good mood.

Especially since he and Afro were the only ones left in the room.

"Any plans for the holidays?" Harry asked, and then regretted it.

This is simply a stupid question.

Afro smiled and leaned against a mirror, looking at him quietly.

The longer the silence went on, the more awkward Harry felt.

"I thought you said Merry Christmas to me." Afro pouted and acted coquettishly towards him, "You told many people today, but you didn't tell me."

Harry's heart felt like it was on a swing, going up and down.

"How could I forget?" Harry walked over slowly and put his forehead against hers. He kept his eyes on her. "I'll tell you as many times as you want to hear it."

"Really?" Afro seemed to be thinking about this question seriously.

Until Harry heard those words of love that made his heart beat so deeply.

"Then I want to hear it every year until the end of my life."

Harry's hand slid down her back and pressed against the back of her head. Their noses touched, and they could smell each other's unique scent.

"Mistletoe." Avro pointed to a large bush of white berries above Harry's head.

Harry's mouth felt dry and he moved closer to her. "Yes, it grows for us."

The ending sound was drowned out between the lips and teeth.

Harry thought, this was his favorite Christmas present.
