Chapter 330 Hagrid is Back
"Ron, enjoying the snow here?" Afro walked over gently and stood shoulder to shoulder with him.
Ron was still in his Quidditch robes, covered in snowflakes. She waved her wand and chanted a spell. Warm air enveloped them instantly.
"I'm sorry," Ron muttered, staring at the snowflakes falling on the branches.
"why?"
"Because I thought I could play Quidditch," Ron muttered, looking sadly at his wet robes.
"I plan to leave the team."
Afro looked at the dejected Ron, and after much thought, he told him that the competition was banned.
After listening to her, Ron felt even more sad.
"It's all my fault—"
"nothing dealing with you."
“Those comments make me nervous.”
"Everyone would be nervous."
This time Ron didn't answer, and Afro watched the snowflakes dancing in front of his eyes.
After a while, Ron said in a sullen voice, "This is the worst I've ever felt."
Afro turned sideways and hugged the trembling Ron, stroking his back up and down.
"But if you dare to stand there, you're already halfway to success."
Ron suddenly felt a sudden thump in his body, and his heart also trembled.
Afro stopped talking because the pair of eyes, which were clearer than the breeze, were staring at her intently without blinking.
"I……"
Ron suddenly laughed, freely and brightly, with the spirit of a high-spirited boy.
"You're right, Afro." Ron hugged her back tightly, buried his cheek in the crook of her neck, and rubbed it gently twice.
"Training can make up for a lot. One failure is nothing. We still have a lot of games to play."
Afro stroked his hair with relief, withdrew her gaze from the dark, snowy distance, and smiled.
"Then let me tell you something happy."
"What is it?" Ron let go of Avro, but his hand was still tightly holding hers.
"Hagrid is back."
Afro pointed to a small wooden house with lights on not far away.
Harry and Hermione were still wondering where Aphrodite and Ron had gone to at this late hour.
At this time, the portrait of the Fat Lady turned away, and Afro and Ron crawled in from the cave. Their faces were ruddy, but their hair was covered with snowflakes.
"Go get some warm water." Harry grabbed Aphrodite's arm and pulled her towards the stove, with the Golden Snitch hovering over their heads.
"Hey, I'm frozen too!" Ron muttered in dissatisfaction.
Hermione acted as if she hadn't heard him, jumped up and ran to Avro's chair, and asked anxiously, "Where have you been?"
"Take a walk." Ron found a chair farthest from them and collapsed on it.
"Let's not talk about this anymore. I have good news." Afro was very excited and waved at them mysteriously.
Harry and Hermione leaned closer to listen.
Afro whispered in their ears, "Hagrid is back."
After hearing this, Harry immediately rushed back to the dormitory to get the Invisibility Cloak and the Marauder's Map. Before leaving, he found the warmest coat in his suitcase.
The boys moved so quickly that they had to wait five or six minutes before Afro and Hermione came down from the dormitory.
"It's cold outside," Ron reminded them.
Harry put his long coat on Afro. The clothes, which were just right for him, seemed a little big on the girl.
The hem of the dress fell to the knees, and the sleeves had to be rolled up twice to reveal the gloved hands.
They climbed out of the passage and squeezed into the Invisibility Cloak. Harry and Ron had grown so much that they had to stoop to get their feet inside.
Stopping occasionally to check the map for Filch and Umbridge.
They crept through the castle gates. The chimney and golden lights of Hagrid's hut cast a warm glow on the snow.
Harry's heart began to beat violently, and he quickened his pace. Afro, who was held by Harry's hand, staggered behind him.
"Hagrid, it's us!"
A hoarse voice sounded from behind the door, "I should have thought of it earlier. I just came back three seconds ago..."
The door creaked open and Hagrid's head appeared through the crack.
"Merlin's plucked goose, under the invisibility cloak? Come in."
Avro and Harry smiled at each other under the Invisibility Cloak, and they could tell that Hagrid's voice was pleased.
Hagrid closed the door and drew all the curtains after they came in. Harry looked at him in surprise.
Hagrid's current image cannot be said to be covered with bruises, but only to be covered with scars.
His hair was messy and clotted with blood, his left eye was swollen to a slit, his face was blue and purple, and some of the wounds were still bleeding.
"Hagrid, your wound..." Afro wanted to remind him tactfully that his wound was still bleeding and asked if he wanted to treat it.
"Oh, it's okay." Hagrid shook his hand nonchalantly, and blood was splashed everywhere.
Afulo had no choice, she didn't carry many potions with her, and she couldn't conjure up the system's medicine in front of everyone.
So she could only take out two or three bottles of colorful potions from her pocket and stuff them into Hagrid's palm, which was bigger than a palm fan.
"I only have a few potions to stop the bleeding. You should ask Madam Pomfrey to take a look."
Hagrid straightened up and tried to smile at them, but frowned in pain, "Thanks, but I'm fine."
He walked to the wooden table in the middle of the hut, picked up a tea towel, dipped it in Avro's potion and applied it directly to the wound.
"Can you tell us what happened?" Harry asked worriedly.
"No, Harry," Hagrid said to them sternly, "this is absolutely confidential. I can't tell you."
"Is it a giant?" Afro asked softly.
Hagrid let go of the tea towel in shock, and it fell to the ground. He quickly picked it up and continued to apply it to his face as if nothing had happened.
"Giant? Who told you?"
"We guessed," Hermione said apologetically.
"Yeah, yeah," Ron stammered to prove himself, and Harry nodded.
Hagrid glared at them and snorted, "I don't know why you are so curious."
"You went to find the giant?" Harry smiled and sat down at the table with Afro.
Hagrid poured each of them a cup of black tea, using their own small cups.
“Honestly, they’re not hard to find.”
"Dumbledore told me they were in the mountains." Hagrid shook his messy head. Fang jumped around them and licked their faces.
Afro looked at Hagrid, who kept his mouth shut, speechlessly. She really couldn't figure out whether Dumbledore deliberately let Hagrid get involved to ensure that Harry could get the information accurately.
"I was responsible for persuading them to join our camp, but I found that these giants didn't hate wizards, but hated me."
"Death Eaters?" Harry immediately thought of the other faction.
Hagrid sighed in disappointment and nodded, "Yes, that's them."
"I conveyed Dumbledore's words. I hope they still remember Dumbledore's kindness."
Hagrid clenched his fingers and tried his best to complete the task assigned to them by Dumbledore.
"So they were the ones who caused your injuries?"
"I wasn't attacked, it was..."
His words were drowned out by a sudden knock on the door.
