Chapter 328 Ron's Debut
Afro immediately understood his intention, her eyes fell on his red ears, and she suddenly laughed.
"Yes, as long as you can bear it."
Draco felt unhappy and amused, but it was hard to say who would be unable to bear it.
That night, after practicing spells all night, Draco dragged his sore arms and wanted to cry.
Time passed slowly, and Harry blew a whistle, and everyone stopped practicing.
"Let's stop here today. Same time and same place next Monday." Harry looked down at his watch and realized it was already very late.
Fred and George took out a map and checked the locations of the patrolling teachers and Filch, then directed the students to form pairs of three or four and return to their college lounges through different passages.
They didn't leave the Room of Requirement until all the black dots on the map had returned safely.
On the way back, Ron showed off to Avro that he had gotten Hermione's wand out of her hand.
"Only once!" Hermione retorted immediately as if she had been pricked by a needle.
"More than once! I won three times."
"If you trip and knock my wand off your feet, that counts..."
"You're talking nonsense!"
Hermione and Ron quarreled all the way back to the common room, and Avro exhaustedly separated the two people whose necks were red from the quarrel.
Because of the excitement of everyone guarding a secret together, the students felt that Umbridge's class was not so difficult.
They even look forward to the evening training camp.
But Harry soon discovered that they could not fix time to one point.
And they have to notify everyone personally every time, which increases the risk of being discovered.
After all, Gryffindor students can't discuss things with Hufflepuff students every day.
"We can add paper to the quick-acting skipping candy." Fred held up his cardboard box to show everyone their inventory.
"But you can't be sure what everyone is going to buy." Ginny pointed out the flaw in this method.
"We could post a riddle on the bulletin board," Ron suggested.
"But that's too obvious." Harry frowned and refuted another method.
Just when everyone was at a loss, Hermione walked in with a gold coin.
"I've thought of a way."
She showed everyone the special mark on the fake Galleon made by the goblins, "Change the time, it will get hotter--"
"Just put it in your pocket and you'll feel it!" Ron interjected gleefully.
After Hermione finished speaking, everyone fell silent, with a look of admiration on everyone's face.
"This is an advanced spell, at NEWT level." Cedric marveled at Hermione's intelligence, "You are really amazing."
Hermione felt a little embarrassed by the compliment, and she blushed as she gave each member a fake Galleon.
"I think the only danger of this method is that you might accidentally spend it." Afro looked at the fake Galleons and said jokingly to everyone.
Ron looked at her sadly and put his Galleons in his pocket, "Not likely, since I don't have real Galleons."
What a sad story.
Training was suspended for the first Quidditch match.
Ron's pressure gradually increased as the game schedule got closer and closer. Sometimes he performed well, and sometimes he lost more balls.
"I would be proud if little Ron could perform exceptionally well in the competition." Fred rode on his broom, flying side by side with Avro, waving a stick in his hand and watching Ron being taught a lesson by their captain.
George flew over from the other side of the sky, not hiding their usual dislike for Ron at all, "You are wrong, I prefer to admit that he is our brother."
"Hey, didn't you know all this time that I'm your biological brother?" Ron overheard their conversation and shouted at them angrily.
"You're right, we've been denying it for four years." Fred and George admitted it in unison.
Ron was so angry that he wanted to throw the Bludger over, but was scolded by Angelina.
On the morning of the match, Ron's condition became worse. He looked pale and refused to speak.
"You need to have some breakfast." Afro brought a plate of Ron's favorite food and placed it next to him, squeezing his hand encouragingly.
Ron sat there dejectedly, as if the meal before him was his last.
"It's normal to be nervous." Harry handed him some cereal and advised Ron to relax.
"How do you feel?" Luna came over from the Ravenclaw table. She was wearing a lion head hat on her head, as big as a real lion.
"He's a little nervous." Afro stared at the hat on Luna's head, envy seemed to burst out of his eyes, "This hat is so beautiful."
Luna took out the second hat from the backpack she was carrying and handed it to Afro, "You like it? Here's one for you."
Aphrodite accepted it happily, she put the hat on her head and tapped it with her wand. The lion head opened its mouth and roared.
"You're very smart." Luna said to Afro happily. This girl was very much to her liking. "Not bad, right?"
The frightened people nodded, it was more than good.
"I support Gryffindor." Luna also imitated Avro's movements and made the hat roar realistically. "Good luck, Ron."
Angelina hurried over and told the players that it was time to gather.
Ron's expression was blank and desperate, and Avro grabbed his arm and pulled him aside.
"Good luck, Ron." Afro stood on tiptoe and kissed his cheek.
Ron seemed to sober up a little as he walked through the hallway. He touched the spot on his cheek where Afro had kissed him, as if he still didn't understand what had happened.
The Slytherin Quidditch team also changed some players, such as adding Crabbe and Goyle.
"They don't seem to know the head of a broom from the tail," muttered Fred.
The new captain of Slytherin is not Draco, but a burly boy.
Ms. Hodge didn't give the two teams much time to exchange pleasantries. She blew the whistle and fourteen players took to the air.
As Afro moved back and forth on the court, he kept an eye on Ron out of the corner of his eye, and Lee Jordan's commentary echoed on the court.
Flint, in the stands below, directed his little followers in a song.
Ron was drawn to it, and the Quaffle passed under his armpit and flew into the center ring.
Slytherin scored.
Ron tried hard to ignore the impact the song had on him, but he failed to block two balls.
The game became more and more intense, and the screams and applause of Slytherin filled the sky.
Gryffindor still has zero points.
Harry frantically searches for the Snitch, hoping to save Ron by catching it.
