They strode down the empty hallway, rain pounding against the windows.

"Even though everyone saw what happened on the grass that day, they didn't really understand it."

Harry was a little confused. He couldn't help but shouted loudly: "That's the truth!"

"That's true. Harry, you should control your temper and not yell at Avro!" Draco interrupted their conversation impatiently.

Ron looked at the four people who followed him with a headache and said softly, "Let's find a quiet place."

Cedric led them to an empty classroom where several people were sitting scattered on chairs.

"What exactly is going on?"

Cedric was under the strict supervision of Mr. and Mrs. Diggory for the entire holiday because he had finally escaped successfully and they were afraid that Voldemort would continue to target him.

So he was exposed to less news than Harry.

"For two whole months, there were reports everywhere about Harry being a lunatic and Dumbledore being an old fool." Blaise always dressed in a bohemian manner, like a playboy.

Theodore and Draco disdained his appearance the most, and they rolled their eyes at him tacitly.

"But we can't trust Dumbledore, he is..." Ron couldn't help but defend himself.

Draco crossed his legs and put his arms on the back of the chair. "Just a friendly reminder, he has been expelled from the International Confederation of Magicians, and the Wizengamot—"

"No need to remind me, thank you." Harry said coldly.

"How could Dumbledore let this happen!" Hermione suddenly shouted, startling the others, and she slammed the table angrily.

"How could he let such a horrible woman teach us! And at such an important time as the fifth grade!"

"We've never had any decent professor for our Defense Against the Dark Arts class." Theodore said lightly.

For once Harry didn't protest. "Hagrid said the job was cursed."

"That woman is looking for someone to be her spy!" Ron glanced at the three Slytherin students opposite him suspiciously, the meaning was self-evident.

Draco glared at him angrily.

Afro puffed her cheeks and said angrily, "She clearly wants us to be suspicious of each other and test everyone. This is the purpose of Fudge sending her here."

The room suddenly fell silent, as everyone knew the reason for Umbridge's arrival.

Harry had to admit that what Aphrodite and Hermione said at the opening ceremony was right.

"I'm afraid that making students lose trust in each other is just their superficial purpose, but the deeper purpose is——"

As Afro spoke, everyone felt colder in their hearts, and they all thought of the same person.

"The Ministry of Magic wants to get rid of Dumbledore."

"No, it's Fudge," Ron retorted.

Fudge cannot represent the Ministry of Magic. There are still members of the Order of the Phoenix in the Ministry. At least they don't want Dumbledore to leave Hogwarts.

"What should we do?" Cedric thought for a moment and asked softly.

Afro stood up, walked to the window with her hands behind her back, and looked at the heavy rain pouring outside.

"The rest depends on ourselves."

She turned around and looked at them firmly, "As long as we trust each other and work together, Fudge will not be able to interfere in Hogwarts."

"I guess that's the Sorting Hat's hint."

Ron muttered, "Trust Slytherin? It's better to believe that Merlin is resurrected."

Draco, who happened to hear this, raised his fist and yelled at him: "What do you mean? Not all Slytherins are like Flint!"

"No, most of them are like that, except for you three," Cedric added slowly.

The heavy atmosphere was suddenly broken by these three people. Ron shrank back awkwardly and touched his nose.

"Let's go back to our homework. I don't need to remind you what today's homework is."

Everyone suddenly put on masks of pain, obviously they were all thinking of Snape's twenty-inch homework.

Only Cedric seemed relaxed, as if he were on vacation.

When they returned, Fred and George were sitting among a large group of freshmen who looked clear and innocent, each chewing something.

"They're really going too far!" Hermione rolled up her sleeves and was about to rush forward, but Ron stopped her.

"We can't stop them from handing out candy!"

"But you know, that's nosebleed nougat!"

"Maybe it's the new product, Coma Candy." Afro pointed to the scene behind them and said uncertainly.
