Chapter 192 Gentle Badger
"Haha, let's talk about it later." She answered casually, lowered her head and took a sip of milk to cover up her unnaturalness.
Cedric and Percy looked at each other and didn't dwell on the topic any further.
"That's too much!" When Ron, who was full of expectations, saw that his breakfast was just a simple sandwich, his resentment almost overwhelmed everyone else.
"Eat it if you want, yours are just a by-product." Cedric was calm and was the first to grab a seat next to Afro, took out his breakfast, which was similar to hers, and started to enjoy it.
He behaved so elegantly as if he was attending some aristocratic dinner.
"Why are you different from us?"
After enduring for many days, Draco wanted to throw the sandwich at Cedric's hypocritical face. It made him angry just by looking at it.
"Any comments? Do it yourself next time."
Blaise raised his eyes playfully at Afro who was eating with his head down, and a barely perceptible arc crossed the corners of his mouth, "I said that his milk can make London drink green tea."
"Green tea? What green tea? Do you want to drink green tea?" Afro, who was concentrating on eating, heard it confusedly. She looked at Cedric with confused eyes.
Cedric rubbed her head with a hoarse laugh, "Eat well, dear."
The trip to Austria ended amid unanimous condemnation.
After returning to Campbell Manor, Avroli contacted Dumbledore, but learned that he was not in England.
"Strange, why is Old Deng not here again?" Afro looked at the letter that was sent back again and put it together with the ones that had not been successfully sent before.
"Little Afu, you haven't forgotten the plot in fourth grade, have you?
After 23's reminder, Afro finally remembered the most important thing. The reason why Dumbledore was not in Britain was because he was with the principals of two other schools.
A gentle and soft black-haired boy suddenly appeared in her mind. His dark and deep eyes were always filled with the joy of a peaceful life.
Cedric sat on the grey fabric sofa, holding a book in his hands.
A burst of green smoke suddenly came out of the fireplace in the corner of the living room, and a familiar outline was vaguely hidden behind the smoke.
"Cough cough!" Afro covered his mouth and coughed, trying hard to endure the churning of his stomach.
"Aphrodite?"
After seeing who was coming, Cedric immediately threw away the book in his hand, took a few big steps to the girl, and patted her back gently a few times to relieve her discomfort.
"Are you feeling better?" A voice with the tone of early spring sounded in her ears. His slightly cool hand gently touched the back of her neck, cool and refreshing, like pebbles under water.
Afro felt the touch on her neck and looked up at Cedric. His wispy black hair half-hid his eyebrows, and his eyes stayed on her.
His eyes are like the moon, tinged with a hint of worry.
"I am fine."
Afro heard herself answer like this. No one except her knew that in her dream she was powerless to save Cedric and watched him walk towards the ending of the plot step by step.
In her dream, she screamed at the top of her lungs, hoping he would stop.
Don't touch the Goblet of Fire, don't touch...
The slender fingers wiped the corners of the girl's eyes, and the warm fingertips took away the crystal.
"Don't be afraid, I'm here." Cedric gently held Afro in his arms, his hot breath beside her ears, "Can you tell me what happened?"
Afro buried her face in Cedric's chest and listened to the heartbeat beneath his strong chest. The strong heartbeat reminded her that the man in front of her was still alive.
She hugged him, tightening her arms again and again, as if she was afraid that he would disappear like mist.
"It's okay if you don't want to talk about it." Cedric let her hug him, his bony fingers weaving through her soft hair.
It was unknown how long it was before the two of them loosened their sticky embrace.
This was not the first time Afro came to Cedric's house, and she found the sofa with ease. She hugged a pillow in her arms and curled up on the sofa like a kitten.
Cedric smiled and rubbed the top of her head, then walked to the kitchen and took out Aphrodite's special cup.
It was a cup with the same pattern as his, but a different color.
He still remembered the teasing and playful looks that Mr. and Mrs. Diggory gave him when he took out the cup when Afro first came to visit their home.
"Sed, will you leave?"
Cedric paused slightly while pouring the water. He didn't know how the girl concluded that he would leave.
"I'm never leaving."
