People in Hogwarts, holding scripts and systems
Chapter 166 Rocket Crossbow
Harry didn't know how he got back to Hogwarts through the secret passage under Honeydukes. Two little people were fighting in his mind.
One said that he should seek revenge on Sirius, while the other said that Sirius might be suspicious.
Hermione and Ron stared at Harry nervously. They didn't dare discuss this in the Great Hall since Percy was sitting next to them.
Back in the lounge, Fred and George were showing everyone their new creation, with brilliant fireworks forming the words "Happy Holidays" in the sky.
"Xiao Afu, who did you play a trick on?
"Or did you sneak out?"
Fred and George saw Afro and his companions coming in. They moved to the girl's side, one of them hooked his arm around her shoulders, and the other held her slender waist.
"What happen to you guys?"
"It looks like a Dementor kissed me."
The twins looked at the few people who were not in high spirits with doubt. Especially Harry, in the past, whenever they were with Afro, Harry would look at them fiercely from a corner, and then turn around and pretend to be wronged with Afro.
But today he was in a trance and no one knew what he was thinking about.
"It's more terrifying than a Dementor's kiss." Ron's words were brief, but they revealed his helplessness.
Ron's words confused the twins, who had no idea what they were talking about. For a moment they all fell silent, and there was complete silence around the fireplace.
Harry quietly returned to his dormitory. Afro wanted to say something, but she swallowed it back.
She couldn't tell the truth directly, and a subtle reminder at this time would only cause Harry unnecessary trouble.
And she always felt that the truth in the main task given by the system was not the same as the truth she said.
Is there anyone else's truth here besides Sirius?
Afro thought carefully about the people related to Sirius.
Needless to say about James, Peter Pettigrew will be found out in the end.
The only one still related to them was Lupin, who was a werewolf, so in order to accompany him through the full moon night, James and the other two were all unregistered Animagus.
Secondly, the Whomping Willow was planted by Dumbledore in the year Lupin entered school in order to conceal Lupin's identity, and there was also the Shrieking Shack...
The words "Shrieking Shack" slid back and forth in Afro's mind, and she thought she knew what the second truth was.
Afro, who was concerned about Harry, did not notice that when she was analyzing Sirius and the Shrieking Shack, the progress of the main task on the system panel was instantly pulled to half.
The sound of birds woke Harry up. He had been thinking until dawn last night. When he woke up, the dormitory was empty.
Walking down the spiral staircase, there were only three people sitting in the deserted lounge.
Aphrodite was sitting on the sofa, writing something, while Ron was occupying another chaise longue, eating pancakes and massaging his bloated stomach from time to time. Hermione was occupying three tables with her homework.
"Merry Christmas, Harry." Afro was the first to see the boy on the stairs, and she took the time to wave to him.
Harry was much calmer after waking up from a nap. He sat on the sofa next to Afro and watched her write a reply.
"Aphrodite, who are you writing to? Where are the others?" Harry's eyes were still misty from just waking up. He picked up the parchment she had placed on the table and had not yet sealed it and glanced at it.
The shirt hung loosely on him. Although he was thin, his chest seemed broad due to regular exercise.
"It's for Blaise." Afro saw him looking at her and gave a faint smile.
"Everyone else has gone home. Today is the first day of vacation."
After saying that, Afro continued to write the letter with his head down.
Hearing her words, jealousy briefly overcame his suspicion of Sirius. He lowered his eyes slightly and looked at the letter in his hand, his white knuckles and wrinkled paper revealing his dissatisfaction.
"You're writing to him on the first day of vacation? What's the matter that you have to say today?"
Harry threw the parchment away, crossed his arms and sneered, leaning back in his chair, crossing his legs, and curling his lips.
"We really have to do it today." Afro sighed, and explained again before Harry could help but open his mouth to flatter his rival.
"Who made me miss someone and forget to give him a gift?"
Afro was worried about Harry the whole day yesterday, so she didn't look at the gifts carefully when she checked them. She just counted them roughly and asked the post office to send them out.
(The post office here refers to the agency that delivers mail by owl.)
As it turned out, there was one thing missing. When she woke up this morning, she was almost buried by Bryce's letters!
From the look on her face, I would have thought something happened in her family!
"If you forget it, then forget it. Is he still missing your gift?"
Harry spared no effort to "slander" his rival. He leaned on the girl's shoulder, and his body pressed against her so tightly that Afro couldn't write properly.
She had to put down her quill.
"Another sweater from my mom... I'm really defeated by her again. Let's see if you have one too?"
After finishing his pancakes, Ron began to tear the wrapping paper on his present. Mrs. Weasley would send him a hand-knitted sweater every Christmas.
Harry's was a bright red sweater with a Gryffindor lion embroidered on it, while Aphrodite and Hermione's were cream-yellow sweaters. The difference was that Aphrodite's had a small rose embroidered on it, while Hermione's had a small gingerbread man embroidered on it.
"You open this first!" Ron saw that Harry was also about to start opening his present, and he pointed to the package that he had been extremely curious about since he saw it in the morning.
Harry followed the direction he pointed and saw a long stick-shaped package. He untied the straw rope that tied the wrapping paper and tore open the brown paper to reveal the contents.
"This is--"
A flying broom shining with golden light appeared in front of everyone. The broom handle was made of ash wood, and the top was a hand-carved model.
Ron squatted on the ground and searched through the papers for a long time but couldn't find any greeting cards with names on them.
"Who could have sent it? Professor Dumbledore? Professor McGonagall?"
Harry didn't know that he couldn't let go of the rocket crossbow. In the following part, Harry carried it everywhere.
He even invited Afro and took her to the stadium to try out the performance of the rocket crossbow.
Afro refused. Even if it was a rocket crossbow, she didn't want to squeeze on a broom with Harry. There was really no room!
The second gift that she was reluctant to part with was the perfume from Aphrodite.
Avro found its own related industries and allocated a separate perfume production line for Harry.
From the raw materials, fragrance to packaging design, they are all designed specifically for Harry.
unique.
A perfume just for him.
