HP: Hogwarts Snake

Chapter 445 What Happened at the Wedding

In 1997, Western-style weddings were all the rage, and Bellinda, being a foreigner, naturally wore a white wedding dress.

Of course, she has more than one outfit today; there are plenty of other clothes for her to change into later.

The wedding dresses were the main focus, with a variety of gowns on display, which can be seen as a reflection of the Chinese tradition of drawing on the strengths of many styles.

As the bride, Bellinda was naturally breathtakingly beautiful, but Della, as the bridesmaid, was also quite stunning. Although she didn't have an extravagant train or a diamond-encrusted gown, she still completely caught the attention of the best man, Donald.

It should be said that Della always managed to attract his attention.

Della also noticed Tang Mo, gradually took notice of him, and actually became more and more willing to talk to him.

She was quite happy to come to the East. After arriving, Della regained a sense of equality that she hadn't experienced in Hogwarts for a long time. Here, no one was her subordinate, but just her friend, so she became more and more willing to chat with Tang Mi.

This might not be fair to her British friends, but fortunately, Della has moved past the stage of hesitating because of others, and now she's more concerned with how to live a more comfortable life.

"You've already gone to America, right, Mo?" After completing the procedures, Della sat at the table in front of her and tilted her head to ask Tang Mo next to her.

"Hmm... Hmm!" Tang Yu, who had been secretly glancing at Della, straightened his neck in a second and only dared to look at a stray strand of hair falling by Della's ear. "The research topic is very interesting, and I'm sharing an apartment with Xiao Yun, so life is easier than I expected."

After introducing himself, Tang Wu cautiously glanced at Della and asked softly, "How are you feeling back in England? Are you very tired?"

tired?

I've never had an easy time.

“I’m so exhausted,” Della said, her voice trembling. “There’s trouble here and trouble there. It feels like I’ve come back to a city of problems, not a hometown.”

"Is it really that tiring?" Tang Yun appeared out of nowhere on Della's other side. He was wearing a suit and his long hair was neatly tied back. "Why don't you just skip going to England and come to America to study with us? We can live together and take care of each other. My second brother and I live in a very big house now."

"What nonsense are you talking about?!" Tang Wu's eyes widened. He was very sensitive to the words 'living together' and thought that Tang Wu was indeed too frivolous.

Tang Yun glared at him, her eyes revealing the words she had used countless times during the year they had lived together to complain about Tang Yun—Della only kissed you on the cheek and invited you before she left, and you didn't even write her a letter, which is really pathetic.

“Come here, take a look. You’re only a year older than me, which is the perfect age for starting school.” Tang Yun pulled out a brochure from somewhere and handed it to Della.

"This is my high school's brochure. If you don't do well on the exams, there are special community colleges you can get into. If you study there for two more years, you can get into a program that connects you with Ivy League universities. Even if you don't have my second brother's brilliant mind, you can still be a student at a top university."

Tang Wu slapped his forehead speechlessly, feeling that he was making a complete fool of himself.

Della politely flipped through the brochure a couple of times, her attention drawn to the youthful, smiling faces on it. She asked Tang Yun, "Are you happy studying there?"

"If you don't ask about my studies, I'm very happy. I'm having a lot of fun," Tang Yun laughed. "I heard that going to university can be even more fun, and I'm really looking forward to it."

“Della, you can’t talk to him about this,” Tang Wu said weakly, still holding her forehead. “He even pays people to tutor him. You’ll be corrupted if you talk to him about these things.”

“Well, there’s nothing I can do about it. The classrooms for the two courses are too far apart, and the interval between them is too short. I can’t really fly there, although I certainly could,” Tang Yun said matter-of-factly. “Anyway, that course is just for getting a grade; once I get it, that’s fine.”

"Speaking of this, it really makes me angry," Tang Yu glanced at Tang Yu, covered her mouth with her hand, and whispered to Della, "Don't you think Second Brother has lost weight, Della?"

"Hmm?" Della looked Tang Wu up and down, following his words, which made the man lower his head in embarrassment before he slowly said with a smile, "Yes, a little. I was wondering why your eyes have gotten bigger in just one year."

She found it.

Is it true that I'm paying some attention to him...?

Tang Wu's mind was in turmoil. Thinking about how Tang Wu had encouraged him over the past year, his brain became even more muddled.

"Ha, do you know why?" Tang Yun's voice rose a little.

"Why?" Della's curiosity was piqued.

"Because my second brother told my dad about me finding someone to take classes for me, he got so angry that he cut my allowance in half, which means we can't afford a Chinese chef anymore!" Tang Yun touched her face, which had also become thinner, and said angrily, "Now he has to eat in the cafeteria too, a lose-lose situation! He's so stubborn, humph!"

"A mistake is a mistake, Xiao Yun." Tang Yun still put on his older brother's airs, showing no sign of regret.

"Be the judge, Della?" Taking advantage of his slightly younger age, Tang Yun looked at Della pitifully.

“You did do something wrong, Yun,” Della said frankly, then lowered her voice and added, “I can’t help it, we’re in court, so this is all I can say to you.”

It means that if it doesn't go to court, they won't take any action.

Tang Yun laughed, winked at Della, and whispered, "I'll be more careful next time."

"You've done something wrong..." Tang Mi's voice became even weaker when he saw Della laughing too.

"Alright, it's all in the past, let's not talk about it anymore," Tang Yun carefully pushed Della a little closer to Tang Yun, "Come and tell us what university is like, Second Brother."

As he spoke, Tang Yi looked at Della and sincerely suggested, "Della will only be 18 when she graduates from the magic academy next year, which is the perfect age for her to go to university. Let's introduce her to someone; maybe she'll be interested in a place where young people can freely develop."

Tang Wu paused for a moment, then looked at Della questioningly and received a nod.

"Go ahead and tell me, Wu. I want to hear it. I am indeed in a period of confusion. After all, as you know, I don't have anything worth fighting for right now."

Della smiled and said that this was the first time she had seriously considered the option of attending a Muggle university, and that it would be good to broaden her horizons by encountering new knowledge, new friends, and a new society.

Perhaps if we broaden our perspective on the world and see more choices, the troubles we face now will seem smaller.

While Della listened attentively to Don Moe recount his university days and the campus he was currently on, a wedding taking place in England was disrupted.

Among the fleeing guests, Lia, who was clearly identified as a member of the 'Maggie Party' and 'Della Party', shot one of the twins.

The blinding white light dazzled everyone's eyes, and when they opened them again, they only saw the boy lying limply on the grass.

"Fred!"

George screamed with all his might and lunged forward.
