Wilderness Redemption Tour

Chapter 286: Wandering in Guarma

Arthur opened his mouth but said nothing.

Micah also took the opportunity to fan the flames, "I can't live like this for a day. Instead of being stepped on by someone all day, I might as well turn over and pin him down when he's not paying attention, so that he can also have a taste of being stepped on."

"Shut up!" Arthur glared at Micah with anger in his eyes, "You have no right to speak here!"

Micah now has Dutch's support and is not afraid of Arthur's threats. "What?" He glanced at Arthur frivolously and said provocatively, "Don't forget, you are just a thug in the gang. It is not your turn to tell Dutch what to do and how to do it."

"But don't forget..." Arthur said, grabbing Micah's arm with one hand to prevent him from escaping, and quickly climbing up to his neck with the other hand, "I can teach you a lesson without any effort."

"Arthur! That's enough!"

Seeing that Arthur's behavior was becoming more and more excessive, Dutch sternly stopped him.

"Arthur, I remember you weren't like this before." After Arthur let go of Micah, Dutch's voice softened. "When I asked you to do something before, you never asked why or expressed your opinion. You just did your job well. I haven't seen you for a few weeks. Have you become the second Hosea?"

Arthur ignored Dutch's questioning and changed the subject: "Since you mentioned Hosea, what does he think about this matter?"

"He agreed." It was Micah who spoke again, but this time he was smarter and stayed away from Arthur before speaking.

Arthur glared at Micah again, scaring him so much that he took two steps back again. However, this time Arthur did not do anything out of line. He looked at Dutch and raised his eyebrows at him, as if asking, "Is what he said true?"

Dutch sighed, looking somewhat disappointed. "When I discussed this with Hosea, he said he would no longer be involved in gang affairs, so he didn't comment on this matter."

Arthur showed no surprise, "So you believed the instigation of this villain?" This was the first time he called Micah a "villain" in front of Dutch.

Daqi's face suddenly turned extremely unhappy. He suppressed his anger and said word by word: "This...all...is...my...idea!"

Arthur looked straight into Dutch's eyes. At this moment, he felt that the father-like man in his memory was so strange.

After staring at each other for a few seconds, Arthur lowered his eyes and lowered his posture again. "Since this is your decision, I will obey as always."

In response to Arthur's expression of loyalty, Dutch just nodded slightly at him, but his face was so calm that no expression could be seen.

The conversation between the two ended here. Dutch took the initiative to step past Arthur and called out to the back without looking back: "Come on, Micah, let's go."

It was not until Dutch took Micah away that Lin Yan, who had been paying attention to the conversation from beginning to end, breathed a sigh of relief. When the atmosphere was most tense just now, he thought Dutch was going to have a falling out with Arthur.

What Lin Yan didn't know was that besides him, there were many people in the camp who were secretly paying attention to this matter. However, when Arthur and Dutch were confronting each other, no one jumped out to mediate.

Lin Yan approached Arthur and asked in confusion: "What happened to Dutch? Why is he causing trouble right after returning?"

Arthur shook his head, feeling a little down. "I don't know. I feel like Dutch has become a different person after he went out."

"We still don't know what happened during this period. Why don't we ask someone first? Maybe we can find out why Dutch became so radical."

Arthur nodded repeatedly. "Yes, let's first find out where they have been and what happened during this period."

Arthur did what he said. He stood there and looked around, then walked towards Lenny who was helping Hosea carry hay.

If we were to ask who among the people who left with Dutch could describe most objectively and clearly where they had been and what they had experienced during those days, it would have to be Lenny.

Lanny was one of the people who had been quietly watching the situation develop. When he saw Arthur and Lin Yan walking towards him, he immediately thought of their purpose, so he casually pulled over two bundles of hay and motioned to Arthur and Lin Yan, "Sit down, let's sit down and talk slowly."

Lin Yan said in a surprised tone: "Do you know what we are going to ask?"

Hosea, who was taking care of the horses nearby, came over and said with a smile, "Lenny is one of the few smart guys here. Besides, your intentions couldn't be more obvious. Come on, Lenny, tell them again what you told me last night."

"No problem." Lenny agreed and spoke in the first person about their adventures over the past few days.

"The cargo ship we boarded that day was bound for Colombia, the Port of Spain in Colombia, the captain of that ship told us so. We waited until the ship left the port and then took the initiative to show up and negotiate with the captain, for which we paid him a considerable 'shipping fee'. Unfortunately, when our ship was about to leave the Gulf of Mexico, it encountered a severe storm and hit a reef and sank. A few of us survived the storm and were washed up on a nearby island by the waves. This island is Guarma Island."

"Luckily, we were washed ashore very close to each other. Not long after we woke up, we reunited. Unfortunately, our weapons and even shoes were left in the sea. Even more unfortunate was that we ran into the Spanish colonists who ruled this place right after we reunited. In the eyes of these people, we, the survivors of the shipwreck, were free laborers. Without saying a word, they captured us and prepared to send us to the third sugarcane planting area in the south of the island. On the way, our team was attacked by a group of local rebels. In the melee, we took the opportunity to break free from the restraints and help the rebels deal with those hateful colonists. During the battle, Javier's leg was unfortunately shot. We wanted to take him away, but when we saw a large number of colonists who came to reinforce us, we had to give up the rescue. We reluctantly left Javier behind and fled into the mountains deep in the island with the rebels who accidentally saved us."

"After seeing our excellent marksmanship, the leader of the rebels, Hercule, promised that if we joined them in fighting against General Fusal, who ruled the island, he would help us rescue the captured Javier. Dutch agreed to his proposal."
