Wilderness Redemption Tour
Chapter 225 Hijacking
Arthur turned his head and looked at Lin Yan. Lin Yan nodded, thinking that the target his group was looking for tonight should be behind this door.
The two followed the old method. Arthur first shot the door lock, but before Lin Yan pushed the door open, the people in the room could not wait to pour bullets towards the door. Lin Yan retracted his half-extended hand and silently counted the gunshots coming from the house. He heard that it was the sound of a revolver, so he had to wait until the other party had emptied the bullets before continuing the previous action.
4...5...6!
As soon as the sixth gunshot reached his ears, he decisively pushed open the door that was riddled with holes.
Arthur immediately followed Lin Yan's actions. Before the door was completely opened, he fired a shot in a subtle posture at the other side of the wall separating him from Lin Yan. Then he moved the muzzle of the gun ninety degrees to the right and aimed again at the head hiding behind the bed, with only half of the hat exposed. He had seen Angelo Bronte wearing that hat, so the person hiding behind the bed was undoubtedly him.
"Come out, don't struggle any more." Arthur slowly walked around to a place with a wide view inside the house. "Next time, remember to tell your guard not to hide in places with light at night. His shadow will betray him first."
Lin Yan flashed out from behind Arthur, holding his gun and quickly looking around the house. A guard was lying on the ground by the door, shot in the shoulder and chest. Although his eyes were wide open, his pupils could no longer focus, and he was breathing in more than out, obviously not going to live long.
Apart from the guard, the only person in the entire room was a head with half of its hat exposed behind the bed.
As Arthur got closer with the gun in hand, the man hiding behind the bed stopped what he was doing, stood up angrily and threw the gun at Arthur like a hidden weapon.
Arthur didn't expect that he would throw the gun at him as a hidden weapon, but that didn't stop him from dodging it easily.
"Dutch! John! The person is here!" After seeing Angelo Bronte's face, Arthur shouted while looking at him.
It has to be said that a boss is a boss. Even though he was pointed at with a gun, and even though he had just used the gun as a hidden weapon to hit Arthur in a rage, Angelo Bronte put on a smile again, opened his arms and looked at Arthur and Lin Yan in a flattering manner: "Okay, okay, I'm sorry, friends, I apologize to you for my actions just now and before. I... No, you guys name a price! You guys name a price, everyone has a price, right?"
Just as he was trying to "bribe" Arthur and Lin Yan, Dutch strode in with John.
Seeing Dutch running towards him angrily, Angelo Bronte stepped back and waved his hands: "Okay, okay, don't, I surrender! Is it okay for me to surrender? You..."
Before he could finish his words, Dutch rushed to his side and knocked him down with a punch.
Looking at the enemy who was knocked unconscious by his punch, Dutch waved his hands and ordered others: "Take him and let's get out of here quickly. The gunshots just now have probably attracted the attention of the patrol police nearby. I don't want to be swarmed by them again."
"John?" Arthur looked at John, the meaning was self-evident.
John frowned and refused with disgust: "You should do it. I don't want to touch this shit."
"Let me do it." Time was running out. Seeing the two brothers pushing each other, Lin Yan bent down and carried Angelo Bronte, who was sleeping like a baby, on his shoulders.
Following Dutch out the door, Lin Yan heard Arthur and John arguing quietly about this matter.
"Look at Jamie, and then look at you. You're not even as hardworking as a newcomer." Arthur rolled his eyes at John.
"What does this have to do with diligence?" John argued, "I already said I didn't want to touch this shit. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't have almost lost Jack."
"Okay, okay, whatever you say is right..." Arthur said perfunctorily and stopped arguing with John about this matter.
The four of them quickly went downstairs to meet Bill who was guarding there. Before they walked out of the villa, they heard several sharp police whistles coming from outside.
"Hurry up, the police are here!" Hearing the police whistle, Dutch quickened his pace again.
The police entered from the front yard of Bronte Manor, while Lin Yan and his group were going to the backyard of the manor, so they did not encounter any obstacles when escaping.
Running to the place where they jumped when they came, Arthur and John skillfully moved a crate. Using the crate as a stepping stone, they successfully climbed over to the other side of the wall.
Arriving at the designated location and finding Thomas waiting there, Dutch stepped onto the boat, turned around and stretched out his hand to Lin Yan who was carrying Bronte, saying, "Come on, give him to me."
Arthur jumped onto the boat right behind Dutch and carried the person on his back all the way. With the help of John, Lin Yan, who was slightly out of breath, handed the still unconscious Bronte to the two of them.
After Bill got on the boat, Thomas held the pole and pushed hard against the solid river bank, and the small boat with one more person swayed into the dark river.
When the scattered lights of Bronte Manor completely disappeared from everyone's sight, everyone, including Dutch, breathed a sigh of relief.
When the boat left the dim river channel and re-entered the wide and bright swamp area, Dutch reached into the water and splashed some water on Angelo Bronte's face.
Bronte was sobered up by the stimulation. Before he could see where he was, Dutch patted his face and greeted him: "Hey, boss, do you think we should blackmail you or do something else?"
When Angelo Bronte found out that Dutch didn't kill him but started bargaining with him instead, he felt relieved. He was sure that Dutch captured him just to get some money, so his attitude towards this group of people changed again.
"Tsk, you're so pathetic." Angelo Bronte looked at Dutch with contempt.
"Oh? I'm pathetic?" Dutch smiled, not caring at all. "In my opinion, you are the pathetic guy, my 'friend'. After all, all your men, including the police in Saint Denis that you bribed, can't handle us country bumpkins."
Dutch's words seemed to touch Bronte's sore spot. Regardless of his current prisoner status, he refuted bluntly: "You are nothing. In my eyes, you are insignificant, you have done nothing, and you are good for nothing. The whole city is under my feet, what do you guys count for? When the police catch you, your death will be meaningless. In this city, I am the one who is loved and respected, and you are just a group of disasters that people are afraid to avoid."
