Wilderness Redemption Tour

Chapter 210 Emergency Situation

Leopold took the famous watch, which was said to be a Reutlinger watch. He first weighed it, then opened the cover to look at the decorations on it, then put it to his ear to listen to the sound, and finally touched the pattern on the cover and said, "This is a genuine Reutlinger watch. It can probably be sold for a thousand dollars in this condition."

"Ha! Looks like we'll get another hundred more." Josiah said happily.

The journey was smooth and after getting off the boat successfully and arriving at the place where several people got off, I found that Javier was already waiting there.

Seeing that everyone appeared in front of him intact and wearing his own clothes, he was obviously relieved.

"What were you doing?" Josiah asked casually as soon as they met.

"To be honest, I had a little incident here." Javier said very bluntly, "Just now when I got on the boat, I just knocked out the guard who lent me clothes, and I thought that was enough. Later, Jamie gave me a hint. I was afraid that the guard would wake up early and ruin our plan, so I went back to check. Fortunately, when I went there, the guy was rubbing his head in confusion, so I went up and knocked him out again, and tied him up by the way."

"So, something almost went wrong on your side? If you hadn't remedied the situation in time, we might not have been able to get down?" Josiah said dissatisfiedly.

"That's not the point. The point is that I corrected the mistake in time." Javier reminded him, "Everyone makes mistakes. As long as it doesn't affect the mission, it's no big deal. Besides, your previous ideas were full of loopholes. If it weren't for Arthur Dutch and the others to support us, we don't know how many times we would have failed."

Josiah felt a little embarrassed when he heard Javier talking about his dark history. Before Javier could reveal more, he waved his hand and said, "Forget it, forget it. You are right. As long as the mission is successfully completed, we should be more cautious next time."

As they were talking, a carriage flashed out from the corner of the road not far away. Lin Yan looked closely and found that it was the carriage they had taken when they came.

"I told George to circle around here before you guys arrived." Josiah explained why the carriage arrived so timely.

After getting in the car, everyone took back their equipment, and Lin Yan handed the other things in his pocket that he got from the safe to Leopold one by one. Since the gang's accountant was here, he was happy to be a hands-off boss, and let the professionals do the work of estimating the value of the items and distributing the rewards.

"You did a great job today, gentlemen. And of course, you, Mrs. Adler." Josiah clapped his hands to get everyone's attention. "George will take us to where we got on the bus. We have a tough battle tomorrow. Everyone should go back and rest early, and pray for our mission tomorrow to be a complete success. Dutch said that after we finish this job, we can leave. Uh... Actually, it's you who have to leave. I have no intention of leaving. Mr. Strauss, you can send my reward to me another day using the old method."

Halfway through his conversation, Josiah, who kept looking out the window, knocked on the wall of the carriage and said, "George, please stop the car."

After the carriage stopped, Josiah took off his hat and nodded slightly to everyone, saying, "I'm home now. Let's say goodbye now. I won't participate in tomorrow's plan. Anyway, I wish you all the best and we'll see each other later."

After saying that, he put his hat back on, with a smile on his face, looked at Lin Yan meaningfully, then opened the car door and walked out.

When Lin Yan thought about robbing a bank tomorrow, the most powerful bank in the big city of Saint Denis, he felt an inexplicable emotion in his heart. He couldn't tell whether it was fear or loss. In short, it was not a good mood. On the other hand, Javier looked eager to try, his eyes full of anticipation.

We are doing fine here, I wonder how is Dutch's situation? It's just a station with average security, nothing should happen...

Lin Yan was looking out the window, lost in thought, when suddenly a faint sound brought him back to his senses. He had been hearing this sound for almost a month, and it was now very familiar to him. It was clearly a burst of gunfire!

"George, please stop for a moment." Lin Yan imitated Josiah and knocked on the wall of the carriage.

"Sir, what can I do for you?" George asked politely after stopping the carriage.

"Wait a minute." Lin Yan responded casually, then looked at his confused companions in the car and said, "Listen, are there gunshots outside?"

Sadie was sitting face to face with Lin Yan, and Lin Yan gave his seat to Javier, letting him sit as close to him as possible.

After the carriage stopped, the gunshots became clearer. Even if Lin Yan moved inside, he could easily tell the direction from which the sound came.

"Could this be..." Sadie suddenly thought of something and wanted to say it but stopped herself.

"That's what I thought." Lin Yan nodded seriously, "We have to go over and take a look. It was Angelo Blount's idea to rob the tram station. I felt from the beginning that he had bad intentions."

Javier was a man of action, and he was the most impatient person when he heard the dense gunfire coming from afar. "What are we waiting for? Let's go quickly. We can hear the gunfire so clearly, so the place can't be too far away from us." He said as he opened the car door impatiently and jumped out.

Lin Yan glanced at the clothes Sadie was wearing and pushed her down on the seat: "Your clothes are not suitable for fighting, so just leave them in the car. Javier and I will go over there."

Before leaving, he looked at Leopold, who was still calm and composed. He was the only non-combatant here. "Mr. Strauss, you and Sadie should go back with George first. When you get to the park, you can wait if you want. If you don't want to wait, just go back to the camp."

"Go ahead and don't worry about me." Leopold waved his hand to let Lin Yan go quickly. He had seen all kinds of storms at his age, and in his opinion, Lin Yan really underestimated him.

Upon hearing this, Lin Yan turned around and chased after Javier. Javier, who had jumped out of the car earlier, was now almost at the corner of the street.

While chasing after him, Lin Yan did not forget to take out a face towel from his space bag and put it on. It is important to develop a good habit. If you are not careful, your face might be printed on a wanted poster one day.

Turning the corner, a small battlefield appeared in front of Lin Yan. Not far away, a tram overturned on the road, with crates, haystacks, and the wreckage of a carriage scattered around. Three masked men were using these things to avoid the siege of police from all directions.
