My Arknights Life Diary

Chapter 71 Snow Melts

Since the outbreak of mineral sickness on Frost Star ended, Tu Fang's life in the camp became dull again, and everyone in the camp gradually got used to a figure wandering around the camp all day long.

The days go by like this, one after another, and the ordinary days often go by the fastest.

I don't know since when, the temperature has started to rise.

One day at noon, Tu Fang opened the door as usual, but a drop of water fell on his forehead.

"Well, the snow has melted?"

Tu Fang raised his head and looked upwards, and saw some drops of water dripping slowly through some cracks in the snow.

Tu Fang looked at the drops of water, lamenting the passing of time.

"Does it seem like I've been at the campground for that long? It looks like spring is almost here!"

Tu Fang sighed, but then he remembered another thing. The arrival of spring not only represents the beginning of the new year, but also means that Tu Fang is about to leave the camp.

That was the agreement Tu Fang made with the patriots when he first entered the camp last winter.

Thinking of this, Tu Fang sighed and looked at the people who were busy nearby.

"Alas, I still feel a little reluctant when the time comes to leave."

............

As Tu Fang expected, not long after he finished his dinner in the evening, someone came to inform Tu Fang to go to Tallulah's tent for a meeting.

"You are all here indeed!"

Tu Fang opened the curtain of the tent with his hands, looked at Tallulah and the Patriot inside and spoke with some emotion.

"Well, I've been waiting for you. Find a place to sit first."

Tallulah looked at Tu Fang who came in and spoke first.

Listening to Tallulah's words, Tu Fang also found a seat and sat down.

"Tu Fang... today... the snow has... shown signs of... melting..."

The patriot spoke, but before the patriot could finish, Tu Fang answered first.

"I know. Judging by the time, spring is coming soon."

"Um........"

The patriots said no more.

"The winter snow has begun to melt. Tu Fang, the camp will be moved back to the north in about a week... So..."

Tallulah didn't finish her words. She knew Tu Fang knew what she meant next, and Tu Fang did follow Tallulah's words and said

"That's when we'll say goodbye, I know. Haha, what's the saying? People have joys and sorrows, separations and reunions, and the moon waxes and wanes."

Tu Fang was very open-minded. Although he was reluctant to leave the place where he had lived for several months, he still had to leave when the time came.

"Well... I'm glad you understand. Well, let's not talk about these things anymore. Let's talk about other matters first."

Separation is always sad, and Tallulah did not dwell on the matter any further. The meeting turned into a discussion about the follow-up matters of the camp as usual.

Amid everyone's discussion, the two-hour meeting ended quickly, and Tu Fang left the tent as usual, preparing to return to his own cabin.

But unlike usual, Tallulah followed him at some point.

"Huh? What's the matter?"

Tu Fang looked at Tallulah who appeared out of nowhere, a little curious

"Well... nothing... but I still want to say that if you want to stay in the camp, I can help you plead with Mr. Patriot. Everyone has seen your contribution to the camp, and..."

"Stop, stop, stop."

Tallulah's hurried tone made Tu Fang feel a little dizzy, but he also understood that she wanted him to stay.

"Well, I know what you want to say, but like Mr. Patriot said, if my identity is exposed, it will bring you a lot of unnecessary trouble."

Tu Fang spoke like this.

"But everyone has seen what you have done! The contributions you have made to the camp, the reforms you have brought about, and so on, everyone has seen it!

I also believe that people will not treat you just because you are not infected............"

Tallulah listened to Tu Fang's words and couldn't help but speak again

"Stop for a minute. Some of them may be more open-minded. Some of them may not be hostile to me because of my contribution.

But these people are only a minority after all. Many people in the camp have been oppressed by ordinary people. Well... maybe it's a bit too light to say oppression. It should be said to be persecution.

There are many examples in our camp of people who should have lived a happy life but whose families were torn apart by the persecution of ordinary people! Their hatred for ordinary people is very deep!"

Tu Fang was not talking nonsense. In the past few months that he had lived in the camp, he had seen many people like this. They were like brothers to those who were also infected, but they wished to tear those who were not infected into pieces.

"Okay... I understand..."

After listening to Tu Fang's words, Tallulah left feeling somewhat disappointed.

............

"Mr. Patriot?"

Tallulah returned to the tent and looked at the patriots who were still in the meeting tent, a little confused.

"You go... to find Tu Fang..."

"Um......"

Tallulah did not deny

"Tu Fang... He has made a lot of contributions to the camp... I can see that..."

"Then why did you let Tu Fang leave?"

Tallulah was a little confused. Since the Patriots had already seen Tu Fang's contribution, why should they expel him?

"Fang Tu...should...explain some of the interests involved...to you..."

"Ah."

"Well... have you noticed... that Tu Fang's body has become much thinner... than when he first came..."

The Patriot slowly spoke

Tallulah compared the current application formula with the previous one she remembered and found that it was indeed the case.

She immediately understood what the patriot wanted to express. Tu Fang was very weak and would become thinner and thinner in the current comfortable environment, not to mention after he went to the north with them?

After arriving in the north, one has to deal with not only the harsh environment, but also many battles and transfers. Tu Fang's body is definitely not able to handle it.

"Letting Tu Fang...leave...is also...good for...him...he has already...done...enough..."

"Well, I understand, Mr. Patriot, I won't continue to force him."

Tallulah responded:
