Crossing the World of Warcraft: I am an Ancient God

"Boom!" With a deafening roar, the entire hall seemed to shake, and a huge echo reverberated through the air. At the same time, countless fragments of rock scattered like raindrops, like a mini meteor shower. Amidst this chaos, a cave that had been perfectly hidden suddenly appeared before everyone's eyes.

The cave didn't look very big; in fact, it was quite narrow. In his current size, Yun couldn't possibly enter it in his normal form. However, faced with this predicament, Yun didn't hesitate at all. He unhesitatingly spurred the massive Gosharag into the cave like a raging beast.

"Boom!" Another earth-shattering roar resounded, this time with an even stronger impact than before. With this explosion, dust billowed into the air like thick smoke, shrouding the entire space in a gray haze, making it impossible to see the entrance of the cave.

"Lishwim, you coward!" Cloud's roar echoed through the dust and mist, filled with undisguised anger and contempt.

"Heh, I'm really starting to doubt whether you're even human anymore." Lishwim's mocking voice came from the depths of the cave, as if responding to the clouds.

"You despicable creature, all you can do is sneak around like a rat! So, your home planet only has people like you. No wonder your home planet exploded. You don't even have the courage to face each other!" Yun's words were like a sharp sword, piercing Lishwim's vitals and mercilessly mocking his cowardice and incompetence.

"You have no idea what I'm doing. Don't think you can provoke me with just a few words." Lishwim's voice carried a hint of anger, but his tone was somewhat feigned calmness.

However, Yun was not fooled by his appearance. He suddenly stopped moving, his eyes fixed on Lishwim, the crimson in his eyes still present, but no longer as fanatical as before.

"I'm provoking you?" Yun sneered. "Isn't your plan to gradually corrupt me by using the energy of the Great Pineapple, to let this energy, filled with evil thoughts, erode my mind and slowly make me lose my mind?"

Lishwim's expression changed slightly, but he quickly regained his composure and said, "You've become so powerful, you're not so easily influenced. However, I never thought I could defeat you in this way alone."

Yun frowned slightly, finding Lishwim's words somewhat strange. He couldn't help but ask, "Are you that afraid of me?"

This question caught Lishwim off guard; his body trembled slightly, as if he hadn't expected Yun to ask such a direct question.

Yun continued, "Even though I'm the one being bullied by you all along, you seem to be terrified of me. Aren't you a life form from our home planet? And the BOSS of the Tomb of the Firstborn, you've lived for so long, how can you be so afraid of me?"

"Huh? What do you mean? Shouldn't I be afraid of you?" Lishwim looked at Yun with suspicion, wondering to himself, how could this guy say such a thing?

Yun was equally surprised. He stared wide-eyed and asked in bewilderment, "Afraid of you? Why would I be afraid of you? Aren't you my match?"

Lishwim gave a wry smile and explained helplessly, "Yes, I am indeed no match for you. But your current strength is absolutely top-notch, and no one can say for sure that they can defeat you."

Upon hearing this, Yun's mouth dropped open in astonishment. "Huh? Top-tier?" He stared at Lishwim in disbelief, as if he had heard a fantasy.

Although Yun knew in his heart that his strength was already quite formidable—after all, he was someone who could contend with a powerful enemy like Titan—he still felt that he was nothing more than a small fry who could be easily bullied by anyone due to the bullying he had suffered from others. Therefore, he never imagined that his strength had actually reached a level that could inspire fear in others.

"Hmm? You have other ideas?" Lishwim was clearly not expecting Yun to react this way, and he frowned, asking with suspicion.

"Me?" Yun said thoughtfully, "I do have some strength, but to say I'm top-tier is probably far from enough. Whether it's the Titans or the Ancient Gods, defeating them would be no easy task for me, let alone the forces of light and darkness. I would be utterly powerless against them. Moreover, the Eternals are exceptionally powerful now, and there's also Dimensius, a being that fills me with fear just by looking at him!"

Even so, countless such powerful beings perish every day, but your strength has already surpassed theirs. Look at the opponents you've chosen, whether Titans or Ancient Gods, they have all survived billions of years of bloody battles! Each one is worthy of the worship of countless interstellar powerhouses, and many even consider being defeated by an Ancient God or a Titan an unparalleled honor. But what about you? You see these as merely your opponents, and you don't even consider yourself a top-tier powerhouse?"

And then there are the Eternals—don't underestimate them! You must understand that in the vast universe, a full 99%, perhaps even 99.%, of all life forms is completely unaware of the Eternals. This isn't because they're too ordinary, but because these beings are utterly unworthy of knowing of the Eternals' existence; they don't even have the right to hear their name!

However, you are different. Instead of showing awe towards the Eternals, you treated them as rivals and fought them to a standstill. How will others perceive you? They will likely be impressed by your strength and courage!

And then there's Mendisius, what a terrifying being he was! Even if all the powerful beings in the universe joined forces, they could only banish him. Was it because they didn't want to completely annihilate him? Of course not! It was simply impossible! Even banishing him came at an enormous cost. The number of lives destroyed by Mendisius alone far exceeds ten thousand times the total number of lives in Azeroth!

To have survived such a terrifying being is an extraordinary feat in itself. For that alone, you have every right to boast, so how can you consider yourself weak?

“In the entire universe, perhaps only what you’ve mentioned could pose a threat to you,” Lishwim said with a helpless expression.

Upon hearing this, Yun's worries did not lessen but instead became even heavier. "But these are only the parts I know. Who can guarantee that there are no other unknown things?" he replied anxiously.

Seeing this, Lishwim couldn't help but shake his head and sigh, "What you don't know? With your current strength, how could you possibly hide it? You must know that all the strong people didn't become strong overnight; they all went through a gradual process of becoming stronger. And during this process, others would naturally find it easy to detect their existence. So, you must know those whose individual strength surpasses yours."

Yun remained silent for a moment, seemingly pondering Lishwim's words. After a while, he slowly said, "But I feel like I can't beat you at all."

At this moment, Yun had gradually calmed down and began to face the gap in strength between himself and Lishwim.

Lishwim was somewhat amused and exasperated by Yun's words. "Can't beat me? What's your definition of 'beating'? Yun inwardly groaned. He had hoped to buy more time, but it seemed that Lishwim would not give him that chance again.

"Aren't you stalling for time too? What's wrong? Have you absorbed all the gem's energy?" Yun suddenly had a flash of inspiration and decided to take a risk and test Lishwim's strength with words.

Upon hearing this, Lishwim's lips curled up slightly, revealing a disdainful smile: "Heh, you're thinking too simply. As expected, this is your weakness. You've grown too fast, and there's still a lot of knowledge you don't know."

"You old fogies, you may have lived long and know a lot, but what good is that? Your strength is utterly pathetic!" Yun's body had shrunk considerably as he carefully observed the energy cloud he had just unleashed. After some examination, he discovered that while this energy didn't originate from any other ancient god, it was indeed the energy possessed by an ancient god. However, there seemed to be some discrepancies, which greatly puzzled Yun, leaving him bewildered as to what was going on.

Despite his growing doubts, Yun's body continued to shrink, and his attention was completely elsewhere, not on Lishwim. Instead, his gaze remained fixed on the hole Lishwim had entered, as if it held some great secret.

"Hmph, I'm not envious at all!" Lishwim said. "Everyone who becomes an absolute powerhouse has a unique and unrepeatable path. The reason they can reach such heights is not only because of their own strength, but also because they possess a great fortune that is difficult for ordinary people to attain. This is something that cannot be envied by anyone. If someone tries to imitate their path, they will probably only become a stepping stone for the next absolute powerhouse in the end."

Yun scoffed at Lishwim's words, believing Lishwim was merely making excuses for his incompetence. "In the end, it's all about lack of strength! What's the point of all that nonsense?" Yun continued in a disdainful tone.

Just then, Yun sensed that Gao Shalak had gradually stabilized, so he quickly put it away, fearing that continuing to use it would cause him to lose control. At the same time, his eyes never left the hole, and he wondered to himself: if he returned to his original body, would he be able to successfully squeeze into this hole?

"Don't even think about it, there's absolutely no way you can get in. Yun's expression turned grim. He had put in so much effort, yet he was still helpless against Lishwim, and a surge of anger welled up within him. "Are you planning to hide in there forever?" he demanded, glaring at Lishwim.

Lishwim, however, remained unusually calm. He replied indifferently, "I have my own purpose. Once I have completed my task, I will naturally leave." His tone was firm, and he was not affected by Yun's questioning at all.

Seeing this, Yun grew even angrier, but he knew that Lishwim was so cautious that he wouldn't be easily swayed by his words. "Just these four gems? Is there a fifth one?" he pressed, suppressing his anger.

A flicker of surprise crossed Lishwim's eyes, but he quickly regained his composure. "You know there's more? Just how much do you know? And you just said you killed Diablo?" His voice held a hint of doubt and curiosity.

“I know there’s also Baal,” Yun said coldly.

“You really knew? I’m so curious. Knowing that everything here is gone, the only thing I can think of right now is that you inherited their memories, otherwise you couldn’t possibly know.” Lishwim was still very curious.

“I can see the future, and I can experience the future, so these things are not a problem for me at all,” Yun explained briefly.

“That’s impossible. Your ability to foresee the future must be related to spacetime energy, but this place can definitely shield spacetime energy. Moreover, it’s impossible for a spacetime node to form here. This place has already been integrated into ordinary energy, and it has long since shielded the possibility of important spacetime. Even if you can see the future, you can’t see this place, let alone experience spacetime cycles, so… you definitely didn’t see it from a spacetime node.” Lishwim’s tone grew colder and colder, clearly exposing Yun’s lie.
