Chapter 31 Herb and Fur Grocer

Passing through two dark doorways is the eastern part of the city, which is located behind the main city gate.

The largest commercial street in the city, Ye Mudan Commercial Street.

It was past noon, but the street leading directly to the core area where the nobles lived was still bustling and prosperous.

From late spring to early autumn every year, the merchants here are like machines in a workshop, without even a moment's rest.

The merchandise and money traded here seemed to be constantly changing hands.

"Fur purchase, absolutely fair, price negotiable!"

"The finest clothes in the capital, one gold coin can buy the silk clothes worn by the ladies in the capital!"

"Two-handed sword, one-handed sword, full steel plate armor, sturdy round shield, these are the standard weapons used by the army to suppress bandits in the south. The quality is absolutely guaranteed and they are a good helper when you go out."

"Gemstones, all kinds of gemstones, all from the Ardek mines, at affordable prices."

The sounds of hawking were endless, but the hottest businesses were always various hunting products and high-quality weapons and equipment.

Because in this northern borderland, the most valuable goods are hunters, adventurers who have just returned from hunting, fresh beasts, and corpses of monsters.

The only ones who could consume the goods brought by the merchants from hundreds of miles away were the hunters holding bags of gold and silver.

Ina remained silent. She was not in a hurry to find a buyer for her spoils. She already had plans in the city and just moved slowly with the crowd.

In this city where she has lived for more than ten years.

Ina knew where to go and who could sell it at a reasonable price.

Finally the horses stopped in front of a shop with a sign made of wooden boards and iron nails.

She tied the horse to the beam, picked up the fur and turned to walk in.

"Welcome to the Herb and Fur Grocery Store." A warm and lively female voice greeted Ina.

"Yina, why are you here? Oh, there's so much blood. Are you okay? Is it serious? Do you need a bandage? I'll get some clean cloth."

The brown-haired girl who was stocking the goods looked a little panicked when she saw Ina covered in blood.

In the panic, a few packages of vanilla even rolled out of her sizable hill and onto the ground.

Although the small pile of vanilla bags that she half held in her arms was already in danger.

"Don't worry, this is not my blood, Anya." Ina put the fur on the counter and looked with interest at the girl who had attended classes with her at the M.I.C.S. Academy and was now a little flustered.

"Wow... I was worried about you, and you still had the mind to laugh at me." An Ya Si puffed up her cheeks and glared at Ina fiercely.

"Sorry, sorry." Ina stuck out her tongue.

The shop owner who heard the noise quickly returned to the shop from the inner room: "Are there any customers coming, little girl?"

"Yina, it's been a while since I've seen you and your daughter come to our store. My little lady, you seem to have grown taller again."

The shop owner stretched out his hand and compared the counter, which was half a person's height, to the white-haired girl.

"Are you alone today?" He looked at the store where only two girls were, and asked curiously:

"Come to play with the little girl? You may return empty-handed. This little girl had a good meal at the "Forest Noble" dessert shop two days ago. She spent one silver coin and twelve groats for each meal."

"My God, the dessert cost a porter three days' salary. If the child's mother were still alive, she would definitely teach her what female diligence and thrift are."

The shop owner looked very disappointed with his customer.

"No, you misunderstood, Uncle Kernler." Ina waved her hand: "Rick allowed me to hunt alone today. This is part of the prey. I hope to sell them."

She pointed to the bundles of wolf skins on the counter.

Kineler also noticed the things placed there. They were not stacked up in several layers, but they were unusually thick.

"You've got something on your first solo hunt. You're quite capable."

Hunting alone is not simply the difference between hunting by one person and hunting by several people.

Being individual means losing the scope of observation that a team should have.

One person takes on all the work of the team, as well as more dangers.

Any one of these is enough to make the hunter waste more physical strength and energy.

This makes hunting fruitless and even puts the hunter in danger.

Kinelair has received countless furs, wild goods, and even Warcraft crystals.

I have seen more hunters than the bustling Night Peony Commercial Street when it was at its most crowded.

However, there are many newcomers who leave the team and work alone as old hunters, and they don’t get any results for several weeks or even months.

To gain something from a hunt where there is absolutely no clue at all often signifies excellence for a young person.

"Then let me take a look at the fur first. As a celebration of Ina's first harvest, we won't charge her for cleaning the fur and simple processing fees." Kernler paused and added:

"Of course, for the flaws, incompleteness, and pollution caused by peeling the fur, we will give you a normal discount. Can you accept that?"

"Yeah." Ina nodded in agreement. She was not worried about the acquisition here.

The Herb and Fur Grocery Store is a store that has been operating here for more than ten years.

Uncle Kernler was a good man who knew what a businessman should do to run a long-term business.

Rick has been a regular customer here for several years. Apart from anything else, she knows that the prices Uncle Kernler offers are generally the most reasonable.

Although it may not be the case if you are dealing with rich people... the white-haired girl complained in her heart.

"Hey, how can this be considered a celebration for Ina? You greedy father, you should have bought it at the selling price anyway."

A little brown-haired head came over, and Anya Si, who was wrapping vanilla with goodies, also came forward to join in the fun.

Kineler showed no mercy and grabbed the little head that was disrupting the business.

"Do you still want some extra pocket money? You little idiot, if every regular customer comes here to work for nothing and even loses money, how can we keep our store open? When business is slow, why don't you suggest reducing the pocket money?"

As it was just past noon, there were not many workers who had the leisure to go shopping.

There were no other customers in the store. The girl did not intend to stop the interaction between Kernler and her daughter. She had plenty of time.

"Sorry to have kept you waiting." After rubbing his daughter's head vigorously a few times, Kinler returned to his business.

He knew that Ina didn't mind waiting a little longer, but after all, this was business, and making old customers wait was not something a businessman should do.

Ina quickly waved her hands to show that she didn't care.

"It's okay, it's okay, I have plenty of free time for the rest of the day."

Without further ado, Kinele skillfully put on his white work gloves, spread out the fur, and started working.
