Chapter 374 Draco's White Hair
Chapter 374 Draco's White Hair
After a discussion between the two, the final answer was still - I don't know.
Such strange things are not uncommon from a historical perspective, such as the strange nine-planet conjunction and the dream of a red dragon that someone had for no reason before the eruption of Pompeii volcano. There are so many strange things in this world.
Answer?
Perhaps people in the future will be able to find the answer in history books.
As for now
"Well, we can use divination!" Dumbledore stretched out his withered fingers: "Divination, fate has its own mysteries, and the mystery lies in divination."
"Fool." Mu En's mouth twitched: "I have no interest in divination. If you have any ideas, go ahead. Remember to ask her to add four or five spoonfuls of honey to the sherry for you."
"I don't drink honey." Dumbledore defended with a smile.
"Really? Do you only drink mead?" Mu En asked in surprise.
"Well, it's mainly because the syrup is difficult to dissolve in wine," Dumbledore said awkwardly.
Mu En smiled and stood up.
"Got to go?"
"Of course." Moon said, "It's better for me to go to the Hog's Head for a drink than to continue wasting time here discussing a vision."
"That's right." Dumbledore showed a slight agreement, and then thought: "Oh, by the way, about the second task of the Triwizard Tournament."
"Everything has been prepared." Mu En nodded.
"No, I mean - safer." Dumbledore said: "Safety first."
Moon looked at Dumbledore seriously, and after a moment he nodded in agreement.
"I don't think you would have said something like that three years ago," he said.
"People change all the time." Dumbledore smiled and said, "You too."
Mu En shook his head. He didn’t feel that anything had changed about himself. He was still happy and at ease—the curse was still the same damn curse!
There was no sign of worsening, nor any sign of improvement.
"I don't know how many more years it will take~"
Sighing and swaying, he walked down the spiral staircase.
Well, he admitted that he had changed a bit.
It's not as radical as it was at the beginning, it's become much calmer.
He was not some genius who could become a great transcendent in a few years or even decades. He knew this since he was twenty years old and traveled through the world for the first time.
Anyway, he has a long life, so there is nothing wrong in delaying it for two years.
He thought about it and realized that the last time he carefully read the information related to magic was a long time ago.
"What a lazy fellow," he smiled, and decided to go to the Hog's Head for a drink.
Time passed slowly, and as the snow gradually melted, the second event began to approach. All the warriors were in full swing.
Everyone hopes to improve themselves as soon as possible, no matter in what aspect or by what method.
The students of Durmstrang began training in preparation for possible competitions that would require a lot of physical strength - this was almost certain, after all, it was called a sports meet.
"Durmstrang—Durmstrang—"
Their warriors stood together in the morning mist, like a snake, each one close together and running in unison.
Krum ran in the front and led the team in singing.
"We are mysterious—"
"We are strong—"
"They are so noisy!" Draco scratched his ears and blew gently on his fingertips.
"Just run, why are you yelling?" He scolded, "Who doesn't run? Why are they the only ones making such a fuss?"
Hermione obviously had a different opinion: "I think it's great," she said. "It's very disciplined and impressive, isn't it?"
As she said this, she looked back.
Over the years, their morning exercises have basically been a mess.
"I think we could give it a try," Hermione suggested.
Harry sat on the steps, looking at his blackened fingers, pretending not to have heard Hermione.
"Ah~ this hand is really like a chicken claw."
Once again, he successfully turned all ten fingers of his two hands into mummies and black chicken claws.
"It's time to get to the toes," Draco said seriously, pretending not to have heard Hermione's words.
As he spoke, he picked up a blade of grass from the ground, twisted one end, and pointed the tip of the grass at Harry's hand.
Strands of black emanated from Harry's chicken claws, and then gradually became withered, yellow, and black, until they completely turned into ash and floated in the air.
"You are awesome." Draco exclaimed, "Don't touch me with your chicken claws."
He knew some of the details of the research Harry was currently doing.
It is to engrave a rune of death direction for yourself.
"Well, what else?" Harry glanced at him and said, "Even if we fail, we should still gain something."
Draco nodded casually and asked, "Can you transform?"
That was their sixth grade course, which allowed them to perform transfiguration on people, such as turning people into animals, or turning themselves into animals.
"Yes." Harry nodded, "But I'm not proficient in it."
"I have a question." Draco asked thoughtfully: "What is the difference between this and Animagus?"
"This..." Harry thought for a moment, then explained: "Under normal circumstances, there is actually no difference. It is even less versatile than Transfiguration."
"But what?" Draco nodded.
"But Animagus is a true transformation into a certain animal." Harry explained the difference he felt between the two.
"You can clearly see that the Animagus is [another self]. They are different forms of the same soul. It is a complete change from the inside out.
But human body deformation is just a simple change of the body. And its stability is slightly inferior. And during the deformation process, it is difficult to sustain the deformation. "
Draco frowned. After thinking for a long time, he suddenly asked, "What about dueling?"
"Not bad." Harry nodded seriously: "I think so, I haven't tried it. Wait"
As he spoke, Harry gently stretched out his hunched chicken claw and touched Draco's shoulder.
"You used it on yourself? What did it become?"
"Ouch—" Draco stepped back instinctively, only to find a tuft of white hair stuck to his clothes.
"A cat? Or some medium-length furry animal?" Harry asked. "You either kept something secretly, or something went wrong with your Transfiguration. Otherwise, you wouldn't have left behind something like this."
"Professor." On the other side, Ron waved his arm at the figure that was slowly walking in the morning mist.
"Good morning, Weasley." Moon nodded.
"Professor, do you think that our physical exercise will be helpful for the competition?" Ron asked with a smirk.
"I don't know." Mu En shook his head: "Maybe, maybe not."
Draco suddenly stood up from Harry's side, grabbed the white hair on his shoulders and threw it on the ground: "Good morning, Professor."
"Good morning, Draco, do you want to ask something too?" Mu En looked at him with a smile.
"Oh, no, this... I have some magical questions I want to consult you about." Draco hesitated and said, "Magic outside of schoolwork."
Mu En nodded: "Of course, about what?"
"About... black magic, curses."
