Hogwarts: Don’t panic, Old Deng, I won’t be the Dark Lord
Chapter 167 The lounge at 1 a.m.
"Okay...if you really find Sirius...please tell me, okay? I've been in the teaching assistant's office, next to the Defense Against the Dark Arts office." Lupine pleaded towards Sisley.
"Of course Professor." Sisley nodded.
"You need to rest, Remus," Dumbledore said suddenly.
"Okay." Lupine nodded and left the principal's office.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk...what a bloody mess." Sisley sighed quietly.
"Yes, and don't take it seriously. Sirius is not an ordinary person even without his wand. Don't underestimate the enemy, you will easily suffer losses." Dumbledore warned.
"No problem, I have never underestimated the enemy." Sisley nodded and said.
"If you're looking for Sirius... you can look around Harry. You don't know that Sirius is Harry's godfather." Dumbledore added.
"Ok."
"You should go back and have a good sleep. You have Severus' Potions class tomorrow. Have a good rest and don't deduct points from Gryffindor."
"I'm not missing any points." After Sisley finished speaking, he returned to Gryffindor Tower.
The lounge should be dark at this time, but a magical light source shines on the small table next to the fireplace.
"Hermione? You're still up so late." Sisley asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes, I'm doing homework, twenty-four in total." Hermione said with a smile.
"Uh... I'm sorry, forget about it. Go back to sleep and I'll write." Sisley sat down and took the quill in Hermione's hand.
"No, no, I'll just write it. You're so busy every day." Hermione said with a yawn.
"Is this sarcasm?"
"No, and you are really busy every day. For example, it's already one o'clock in the morning and you didn't come back until now."
"I don't know what you are busy with outside, but it is more important than doing homework."
"And there is nothing I can do to help you now. There is only one homework left. If you write it yourself, wouldn't I become a useless vase?" Hermione pursed her lips and said.
"It's not bad to be a vase," Sisley said, stroking Hermione's hair.
"You know, I'm a very strong person." Hermione shook her head.
"Strong people are tired of living." Sisley shrugged and said.
"Then why are you so strong?" Hermione raised her eyebrows.
"I can't help it. I was an orphan before and had no choice but to be strong. You are different. I can protect you."
"What about now? Dumbledore is your teacher, and Professor Thorne is back. Why are you still so desperate?" Hermione asked again.
"If I weren't so strong, Dumbledore wouldn't be my teacher, and if I wasn't so strong, Ethan wouldn't see the light of day again. You have to figure out the cause and effect."
"what about now?"
"I'm used to it, and I don't want to let them down." Sisley shrugged.
"I don't want to disappoint you. When the time comes, you will become stronger and more powerful, and you may become the next or the next principal of Hogwarts. How can I stand by your side then? A A vase? A useless...waste?"
"This is still good. If I didn't work so hard, I wouldn't be able to stand by your side at that time." At this point, Hermione's tone suddenly dropped.
"It won't happen one day." Sisley gently rubbed Hermione's hair and comforted her.
"What if? If I become a person who doesn't know how to make progress, and asks you for help whenever something happens, but can't help you with anything, will you still treat me like this that day?" Hermione blinked and leaned on the sofa, her eyes sparkling. asked looking at the ceiling.
Sisley fell silent.
"Right, that's why I work so hard to not let you leave me behind." Hermione said with a smile.
"You will work so hard without me, that's the way you are." Sisley said quietly.
"Maybe." Hermione nodded and said,
"Give me my share, and I'll share some with you." As he said this, Sisley was about to get it, but the dense parchment on the table was pinned down by Hermione.
"No, no, just go back to bed and I'll just write it myself." Hermione said, leaning on the table.
"I'll get you some supper." Sisley sighed and left.
After arriving in the kitchen, Sisley rummaged through the cabinets and found a piece of cake without butter, and took a pot of pumpkin juice.
But this cake embryo gave Sisley a hard time.
The cake is fluffy and delicious, but it looks a little too shabby.
"There should be some cream or jam here, where is it?" Sisley muttered to himself, looking through the cabinets one after another.
Finally, I found a large bucket full of white cream.
With a slight wave of the wand, the invisible magic dug out a large piece of cream and spread it on the cake base. He also found a jar of jam and wrote Hermione's name on it.
"I hope she likes it." Sisley put the cake into the ring and murmured to himself.
When he returned to the common room, he found that Hermione had fallen asleep on the table, and the parchment was scattered on the floor.
"It's a pity that she can't eat anymore." Sisley shrugged and took off the large robe he was wearing and covered Hermione.
He picked up the unfinished homework, picked up the quill and started flipping it up and down.
"Um......."
The sound of the quill scratching the parchment suddenly became much softer.
Hermione seemed to have regained some consciousness. She lay on the table and grabbed a piece of parchment. Her other hand kept searching on the table, trying to find the quill.
Seeing this scene, Sisley was about to cut out his wand and make her sleepy, but it seemed that it was too late.
She touched her robe and opened her eyes with some confusion, and saw Sisley sitting opposite her, holding a quill and looking at her.
"Huh? Did I fall asleep? How long?" Hermione asked as she sat up.
"It'll only take less than twenty minutes. You'd better go back and have a nap. I've almost finished writing this, and I've got some supper for you." He waved his hand and saw the cake with Hermione's name written on it and A jug of pumpkin juice appeared on the small table.
Feeling that her groggy head was finally no longer holding on, Hermione took the cake and started eating.
[This is my personal experience of thinking about homework while sleeping. Sometimes I have closed my eyes and my hands are still typing, and my mind is actively conceiving the plot. I am not sleepy except for my eyelids. So you should be more tolerant towards me and be less yin and yang. What should be updated every day is over 10,000... I have indeed exceeded 10,000. Don't worry about whether I post it or not. I wrote it myself and it is indeed over 10,000. You just say Probably no more than 10,000. 】
