"Al, speak!"

Grindelwald urged again and again. He could not accept Dumbledore's silence, which in his eyes was equivalent to Dumbledore choosing Severus.

Severus realized in a very short time that it would be useless for him to go against Grindelwald, and now he remained silent and observed the situation.
