HP: Embrace the Darkness
Chapter 683 Voldemort Meeting (Part )
Voldemort came to Herbo's room and stayed there for more than an hour.
During this period, Bella and Mrs. Lovelace, who wanted to report some information, and Lucius, who came with the news that Voldemort wanted, could not let him out, so they could only stand at the door and wait.
Not long after, the werewolf leader who was running outside returned to Malfoy Manor with Nagini.
Lucius was upstairs watching his expensive and exquisite carpet being stained by the blood and soil on their bodies. He was vomiting blood in his heart, but he had to show a polite smile to them on his face.
"Fenrir, are you here to report too?"
The werewolf Fenrir snorted disdainfully, "Lucius, don't pretend, I don't think you don't know what I'm here for?"
The polite greeting was scorned by the despicable creature. Lucius crushed the cufflinks in his hand to avoid punching Fenrir in the face.
"Of course." Lucius squeezed out two words with a fake smile, no longer looking at Fenrir.
Fenrir led two werewolf men to squeeze into a position and also waited for the owner of the house to come out.
Nagini stood up as a snake, hissed and spat out the message, and swept the people at the door one by one with her cold snake eyes.
The sticky eyes of the snakes dug into the skin of several people. Bella remained indifferent. She only saw the door. Mrs. Lovelace frowned and did not move.
Lucius originally wanted to move a little bit away, but when he saw that the two ladies didn't move, he was too embarrassed to move first, so he calmly adjusted his clothes.
More and more people came behind.
The Death Eater who first came to report that the house had been burned down also rushed back with the latest news. Seeing so many people at the door, he hesitantly stood on the side of Mrs. Lovelace and Lucius, who seemed safer.
Time passed while waiting, and there was no sound in the house. No one knew what was going on inside, and they did not dare to rush. They would change positions when they got tired of standing.
Lucius counted the time. About half an hour later, the black devil mark on his left arm suddenly felt the heat of summons. This heat was very strong, and there was an anger that seemed to burn him to death.
He calmly glanced at everyone present and found that their left arms were not right either. Some of them who were intolerant of pain had even covered their arms and were trembling.
He was not alone in his calling.
Lucius breathed a sigh of relief and struggled to maintain his posture as he stood at the door, leaning on his cane to stand firmly.
Turning his eyes, he saw that Mrs. Lovelace's face was pale and her body was not swaying at all without any support. Lucius became even more vigilant.
He would never underestimate witches. Sometimes witches could do far more terrifying things than wizards, such as his wife's nominal sister, Bella.
The pain in his left arm became more and more intense, and beads of sweat appeared on Lucius's forehead. He pinched his wrist vaguely and endured the pain wholeheartedly.
A gust of wind blew, and there were many more Death Eaters in the corridor. Lucius wiped the cold sweat from his forehead. When he saw his friend Snape among the new Death Eaters, he quickly moved out of the way.
Seeing Lucius, who was sweating profusely, winking secretly, Snape did not refuse and stood beside Lucius without leaving any trace, making a questioning gesture.
Lucius thought for a moment and mouthed to Snape that he didn't know either.
Snape frowned, thinking of the fire last night. He gently covered his left arm and lowered his head. His eyes became empty where no one could see him.
Lucius was in excruciating pain at this time. He covered his arm and endured it. He didn't even bother to look at Snape. Most of the Death Eaters present covered their arms. Snape's actions were not normal among them. conspicuous.
So when the door opened, Snape had secretly sorted out the memories in his mind. Any memories that might expose Artes were pressed into the deepest part of his mind, covered by layers of insignificant memories.
"It seems that my friends are quite sincere."
Voldemort's cold voice reached everyone's ears, and everyone held their breath. Only Haierbo spat out his words out of boredom, whipping his tail on the floor, urging Voldemort to leave with his henchmen.
No one in the room except Nagini could understand Helbo's words. Voldemort was not worried that his majesty would be damaged, not to mention that he believed that as long as he was strong enough, no one could damage his majesty.
"Go to the conference hall for a meeting. I don't want to see anyone late. Nagini, you are responsible for dealing with the late idiots, whether they are eaten alive...or crushed to death."
Nagini raised her head excitedly and walked among the Death Eaters, as if she was selecting her prey and might attack it at any time.
Lucius cursed again and again in his mind. On the surface, he was walking the fastest. Snape blended in with the Death Eaters behind him, walked around the corner, and quietly glanced at Herbo, who was standing with Voldemort.
The conference room that was once decorated in the same style as Malfoy Manor gradually changed into the style that Voldemort preferred over the course of many meetings.
The splendid wall tiles were all turned into gloomy black bricks, which were piled up layer by layer; the dark patterned carpet was stained with blood from several executions.
Even the fireplace, which should be warm, was burning with green flames. Instead of the warmth of ordinary flames, there was only a coldness close to death.
The long table for the meeting was right next to the fireplace. The long table, which was once pure white and inlaid with gems and gold, turned into a dull black and red color under the color of blood. You can even smell the strong smell of blood when you sit down.
Lucius disliked this conference hall, but he did not move at all slowly. He sat down in his place. Snape passed by him and sat next to August. Others also took their seats.
Voldemort, who threatened to die if he was late, didn't care about the rules he had set. With everyone waiting for him, he slowly walked over.
Haierbo is here too.
The huge snake body scraped against the ground, its scales sliding and making an unpleasant friction sound, scratching everyone's eardrums and causing small bumps on their skin.
But with so many people present, no one dared to cover their ears or touch their arms, because Lord Voldemort was watching them.
Voldemort leaned back in his chair and lazily scanned the expressions on the Death Eaters' faces, waving his wand with interest. Every time the tip of the wand pointed at a Death Eater, their expressions would show ridiculous fear.
Under the pressure from both sides, everyone's nerves were tightly stretched into a string, but Voldemort and Haierbo had not yet planned to let them go. They saw a snake that was taller than a man standing up, and its huge snake body filled the eyeballs. Just by looking at it, you can imagine how much it eats.
Most of the Death Eaters' faces suddenly turned pale. In the days since Halbo's arrival, they had seen how much Voldemort valued Halbo.
They had no doubt that even if Herbo ate them all now, Voldemort would not feel any distress at all and would even applaud him.
