I am a fox in the prehistoric times

Finally, with the efforts of all living beings in the prehistoric world, the human way was successfully awakened after the earth way. After the three ways of heaven, earth and man were all awakened, the prehistoric world became more stable. Although the authority of the heavenly way was largely seized by the earthly way and the human way, the power held by the heavenly way increased instead of decreased. It entered the chaotic realm from the original peak of the heavenly way realm. Hongjun also improved his strength from the half-step heavenly way realm to just entering the heavenly way realm!

As for the method of dealing with these great virtues, it is the same as before. If there is a golden wheel of merit condensed by the great virtues, the merits will be stuffed into the golden wheel of merit. As for those that do not have merits, a brand new golden wheel of merit will be condensed!

When the Great Dao was about to leave the prehistoric world, Hou Tu stood up and said, "Great Dao, the sky has the Heavenly Palace, and the earth should establish the Underworld. Today, I, Hou Tu, will establish the Underworld in the netherworld. I will use the twenty-four-level reincarnation purple lotus, the Book of Life and Death, and the Spring and Autumn Reincarnation Pen to suppress the Underworld's luck. The Underworld will be established!"

After Hou Tu finished speaking, a spooky and terrifying Ghost Gate, which occasionally emitted some black air, appeared at the junction of the Netherworld and the prehistoric world. After seeing the three Taoist characters on the Ghost Gate, the powerful beings realized that if they wanted to enter the Netherworld in the future, they could only pass through this Ghost Gate!

Walking into the Ghost Gate and entering the netherworld, looking out, you can see the endless Yellow Spring Road. Hou Tu felt that the Yellow Spring Road was a bit too desolate, so she took out a top-grade innate spiritual root, the Red Spider Lily, and threw it into the Yellow Spring Road!

And when the red spider lily took root, countless red spider lilies suddenly grew on both sides of the originally desolate Yellow Springs Road, making the Yellow Springs Road seem less desolate!

At the end of the Yellow Springs Road, Hou Tu had an idea, and began to arrange the structure of the underworld according to what Bai Zhen had told her in advance. The Three Lives Stone, the Wangxiang Terrace, the Wangchuan River, Meng Po, the Naihe Bridge, the Dark Sun, the Dark Moon, etc. slowly appeared in the underworld!

As the underworld was almost completed, Hou Tu was heard to speak again: "When the cycle of reincarnation was first established, I saw that there was no distinction between good and evil in reincarnation. Now I have specially set up the underworld to judge the sins of all living beings, and to determine the passage for reincarnation based on the merits and demerits of living beings.

Those who have merits but no faults will enter the heavenly realm. Those who have merits and faults, and their merits outweigh their faults, will enter the Asura realm. Those who have merits and faults, and their merits slightly outweigh their faults, will enter the human realm. Those whose faults slightly outweigh their merits will enter the animal realm. Those whose faults outweigh their merits will enter the hungry ghost realm. Those who have faults but no merits will enter the hell realm, and will never be able to be reborn!

Merits and demerits should be clearly distinguished. Merits should be rewarded, and demerits should be punished. Merits and demerits should not offset each other. The underworld should have eighteen levels of hell as a place of punishment. Anyone who has committed a demerit must enter the eighteen levels of hell to be punished before reincarnation, so as to eliminate the karma brought about by their mistakes in their previous lives!"

Because of the power of the Great Dao, even the creatures hiding very deeply could hear Hou Tu's announcement and see the eighteen levels of hell that Hou Tu used to punish the dead souls.

Those creatures in the ancient times who were bound by karma were also frightened after hearing Hou Tu's words and seeing the tragic conditions in hell. They all developed a great fear of death!

Just as those who were entangled in karma were thinking about how to continue to live, they heard Hou Tu speak again: "All the creatures in the prehistoric world, those whose cultivation has not reached the level of Quasi-Sage, your names and life stories should be recorded in the Book of Life and Death. Those whose cultivation has not reached the level of Golden Immortal should have their lifespans limited! Those whose lifespans have run out should enter the underworld and wait for judgment and reincarnation!"
