Chapter 1731 The Colossal Titan is Captured

Reiner's howl also attracted the attention of Bertholdt, who had transformed into the Colossal Titan not far away, and he stepped towards them.

His height was absolutely iconic in the city, taller than the city walls, so everyone noticed him the moment he appeared.

But so far no one has attacked, which can only mean that someone didn't want this place to be disturbed, so they gave the order.

I didn't notice that many soldiers were already standing on the high walls around me, watching the battle, and that elite soldiers wearing wingsuits were roaming around in the nearby sky.

However, Bertholdt and Reiner couldn't care less about those people right now; these two were already giving them a real headache.

Bertholdt had arrived near Reiner by then, but he had no good way to deal with the demon tormenting Reiner. Then he saw the figure floating in the air.

The giant hand swept out and swept towards the figure in the air.

Before the arm could even reach it, the woman in the air raised her long sword high. With a slight gathering of strength, lightning converged on the tip of the blade. With a downward swing, a bolt of lightning as thick as a bucket appeared above the colossal giant's head and slashed down.

The electric current that instantly coursed through his body froze Bertholdt in place. He already carried a lot of heat, which made the electrical energy even more active, and his entire body was practically radiating electricity.

Just as Bertholdt stood frozen in place, Reiner's howling stopped, but Pokona behind him did not let him go.

The blade pierced again, this time pressing against the back of Reiner's head.

"I know you can hear me. If you don't do as I say, even if the master blames me, I will still cut off your head. Anyway, as long as I bring your body back, it will still be useful."

Reiner felt the tip of the knife pierce his scalp at the back of his head, and his flailing arms stopped.

After a slight pause, he lifted his leg and ran forward, heading towards the outer gate of the barbican.

Bertholdt, having recovered from the paralysis of the electric current, first saw Reiner running away, and then went to look for the woman who had been floating in the air, but she was nowhere to be found.

At that moment, Bertholdt, who was buried deep inside the giant, suddenly felt a bright light behind him. The muscles on the back of his neck were blown off, and he himself was directly exposed.

Before I could react, the back of my neck was grabbed and pulled up, and the muscle fibers connecting it to my body were torn off.

Immediately, Bertholdt felt his body lighten as he was lifted into the air. The ground in front of him suddenly shrank, and before he could even react, he had already landed on a flying boat.

Not far in front of him stood a handsome man who was smiling at him.

Meanwhile, on the other side, Reiner ran towards the outer gate without any obstacles along the way. Even when he reached the gate, the soldiers around him stood still and watched him run out without any intention of stopping him.

Upon reaching the wilderness, Reiner did not stop, for he knew that the woman behind him was no charade; the blade was pressed against his skull, and he felt it could pierce his brain at any moment.

Reiner stopped on a mound and exhaled puffs of hot steam from his slightly open mouth.

"Are you there?"

When questioned, Reiner did not move.

"Looks like we've arrived. Alright, are you going to come out on your own, or should I dig you out?"

As Pokona spoke, the bony armor on the back of her neck wriggled and slowly opened, squeezing out Reiner's true form from the muscles.

The giant's body slowly lay prone on the ground. As Reiner emerged completely from within, the giant's corpse began to emit large amounts of steam and visibly melted away.

"Ha, it's really amazing, just like a bio-mech," Pokona exclaimed in surprise.

Reiner was also astonished to see the completely cat-like figure beside him.

"Alright, stop wasting time, let your accomplice come out! That Beast Giant." Pokona slung her pistol over her shoulder and laughed.

“I don’t know where they are!” Leiner said in a deep voice.

"Don't know?" Pokona asked, turning her head away.

“I really don’t know. He’s my superior, he won’t tell me everything!” Reiner turned his head and looked around.

"Is that so?" Pokona paused for a moment, then suddenly smiled. "Then you can go!"

"Walk?"

"When you leave here, remember you are not allowed to come back. You can go anywhere, just don't look back. If you find your superior, you can leave with him."

"You'll let me go?" Reiner asked doubtfully.

Pokona didn't say anything, she just shrugged, looking indifferent.

"What tricks are you playing?"

"You talk too much nonsense. It's good enough that I'm letting you go. Do you really want me to kill you? If you don't leave now, you won't just lose your arms. Hurry up! Go back to where you came from!" Pokona urged.

Reiner gritted his teeth and walked away, but the other person actually stood still and watched him walk away.

But he didn't know that after he walked away, Pokona's cat mouth, hidden under her face mask respirator, curled up, with a smug look of someone who had just eaten a small fish.

Reiner didn't actually know where the Warrior Captain and the others were hiding. They certainly wouldn't go back to the grove where they agreed to meet and exchange information; the Warrior Captain had already moved to a different location after the previous attack.

Now, let's turn our attention back to the airship.

Bertholdt realized that he had been captured. He recognized several people on the ship, all of whom were members of the Divine Court, thus concluding that the entire ship was composed of members of the Divine Court.

"Come on, young man! Tell us everything you know, starting with the power behind you!" Tantai Ye said with a smile.

Bertholdt bit his lip and remained silent.

Seeing this, Tantai Ye sighed with feigned pity, stepped forward, patted his shoulder, and said, "Actually, even if you don't say anything, I can still access your memories on my own, and even forcefully crack your deepest recollections. Afterwards, I could even turn you into an idiot, or a puppet who only knows how to obey my orders..."

Tantai Ye's words startled Bertholdt. He wanted to doubt what the other person was saying, but he had a feeling that the other person was not lying to him and that he really had this strange ability.

"Therefore, your best option now is to honestly confess what you know, because whether you tell me or not, the forces behind you will not escape my grasp. You and the forces or countries behind you will eventually be ruled by me and merged with Eldia."

Bertholdt stared at Tantai Ye for a long time before finally lowering his head and beginning to recount everything he knew.

At this point, all resistance would be futile; the sheer aura emanating from the opponent was something he could not contend with.
