HP: I’m working on redemption at Hogwarts
Chapter 178 Boggart is a dead rat
Astoria and Draco came back together. Although his arm was injured, somehow he leaned on Leah's shoulder the whole way back, as if he had completely lost the strength to walk.
Daphne and Pansy were staring at the two of them with gossipy eyes. Pansy seemed a little dissatisfied and was diverted by Zabini's joke. Theodore just raised his head slightly from his paper homework, glanced at them and said nothing.
Not long after, Draco's arm was almost healed, but he still insisted every day that he and his father should drive the injured winged beast out of school...
……
Time passed quickly, and Astoria once again attended Professor Lupin's Defense Against the Dark Arts class for the umpteenth time.
His classes were always more interesting than those of the previous professors. Therefore, Leah couldn't help but look forward to and hope that this pretty good professor could continue to teach defense, even though he was from that damn Gryffindor...
"Class, does anyone want to guess what we're going to do today?"
Professor Lupin stood in front of a long, antique-looking wooden wardrobe.
He looked at the classmates in front of him, his cloudy eyes shining inexplicably, hoping that someone would take the initiative to answer the question.
"Professor, this is a Boggart, right?"
"Yes, yes that's it, Miss Weasley, how did you know that?"
"My brother, he has taken your class, and he said that Neville turned Professor Snape into an old lady in flowery clothes..."
The Gryffindor students burst into laughter.
"Okay, okay, be quiet. Miss Weasley is right. Boggarts will show your greatest fears, and our task in this class is to resist them."
Professor Lupin's eyes wandered between the students of the two colleges, and Leah noticed that his eyes finally stopped on her.
"The spell is simple, just hilarious! So does anyone want to try it?"
Lupin winked at Leah quietly, as if to encourage her to go forward. But unfortunately, Leah was not yet ready to have the courage to face the creature she feared, especially in front of so many people.
"Let me do it!"
Ginny took the initiative to raise her hand, which was appreciated by Professor Lupin.
"Very well, step forward, Miss Weasley."
Ginny took a deep breath, clenched her wand in her hand and stood in the open space in front of the wardrobe.
The classmates behind her all stepped back two or three steps in tacit understanding to give Ginny room to perform, but it was hard not to see that Ginny was still nervous and a little overwhelmed.
"Relax, Miss Weasley, you can make it into anything funny you want."
Lupin comforted Ginny and gave her a smile that made the scars on his face look much lighter, and his features soft and patient.
"Okay... okay."
Ginny nodded firmly, and as Professor Lupin slowly opened the wardrobe, everyone's eyes were drawn to it, and everyone was curious about what kind of creature this "Boggart" was.
Unexpectedly, what came out of the closet was not a beast with fangs and green face, nor an unfinished essay assignment, and of course, it could not be the gloomy-faced Snape.
Chloe sighed in disappointment, put her arm around Leah's shoulders, and started gossiping.
"How boring! What Weasley fears most is actually an ordinary handsome guy. Could it be that she hurt him and feels guilty..."
Chloe laughed teasingly, bumping into Siblanc from time to time for approval.
"Are you stupid? That Boggart is wearing a Slytherin uniform..."
"Hey, it's true!"
Leah didn't really listen to her friends' conversation, probably because of the creature that walked out of the closet, that familiar handsome face, with black hair and black eyes, and an indifferent expression.
Ginny must have been startled, she stood there in a daze, unable to react.
"Cast a spell! Cast a spell, Ginny!"
The Gryffindor student reminded Ginny from behind, which made her come to her senses and immediately raise her wand.
"Funny!"
In an instant, this tall and handsome Boggart changed again. His facial features twisted into a ball, and finally turned into a funny picture of Ron eating chicken legs with greasy stains on his face.
"It's Ron, Ron hahaha!"
"We will definitely go back and share it with Ron."
Ginny surprisingly didn't talk to them. Instead, she cautiously looked at Leah. Their eyes met, and complex emotions welled up in their eyes.
"Ms. Weasley's presentation was excellent. Next, we will line up and present our works one by one."
Professor Lupin's mouth curled up almost imperceptibly. He clapped his hands and arranged the students to line up one by one.
Leah was about to quietly retreat when Chloe suddenly pulled her back. Chloe put her arm around Leah's shoulders, pulled her along, and walked with her to the front of the team.
"This is so interesting. If we line up together at the front, we will definitely get our turn first!"
"Um... Chloe, actually, I mean..."
"what happened?"
Chloe turned back, a cheerful smile still on her face.
"Forget it, it's nothing."
Leah sighed, not wanting to disrupt Chloe's excitement.
Soon, the people in front finished their presentations one after another, and it was Leah's turn.
"Ms. Greengrass, I look forward to your performance."
Professor Lupin's eyes seemed to suddenly light up, and he stared at Leah with curiosity on his face.
"Thank you, Professor."
Leah lowered her eyes and thanked him in a low voice.
Her eyes quickly fell on the wardrobe, and as Lupin opened the door, a black mist-like creature floated out from inside.
"what is this?"
"I don't know. It's so dark that I can't see clearly..."
But this ball of black fog was not its final form. It seemed to be constantly changing. A dazzling green light burst out from it. Leah froze in place instantly. She felt cold all over her body, as if she was in a hell beyond life and death...
After the green light disappeared, the Boggart finally turned into a short, middle-aged man with a hunched back and sparse hair.
Of all the people present, only Lupin and Leah had the same expression. Lupin almost instinctively wanted to step forward, but quickly restrained his steps and looked back at Leah with complicated eyes, full of indescribable emotions.
"Funny--"
Finally, Leah raised her wand and turned the damn middle-aged man into a tiny, smelly little mouse before he could cast a spell on her.
Lupin's look became even stranger. He stared at Leah and then at the lifeless mouse.
"Wow, Leah you are awesome!"
Chloe came over and hugged you tightly, pulling you back to the lounge area.
Lupin's eyes still followed your figure with empty eyes, his face was pale and his expression was dazed.
"Professor Lupin? Professor Lupin?"
The next Gryffindor student stepped forward and cautiously tapped Lupin on the shoulder, bringing him back to consciousness.
"Oh sorry, let's move on."
Lupin quickly returned to his gentle and elegant smile, locked the mouse back into the closet, nodded affirmatively to his classmates, and then opened the closet.
