On a vast grassland, Grek drove his jeep wildly along the road.

He kept glancing at his watch while driving, looking quite anxious.

"Weren't you looking for my enemy? Where have you come from?" Big Cat asked, who had been silent all along.

Her attention was entirely focused on the clone left in the lab. Since using the evolution virus, Big Cat had undergone an evolution.

She can now release her clones. These clones can inhabit people or animals, and she can remotely monitor their situation at any time, whenever she wants.

She had been checking the lab the whole time. But when she came to her senses, she found that Grek was nowhere to be found.

“This is the northern part of your country, a vast grassland stretching as far as the eye can see. Don’t you recognize it?” Grek asked.

"What are you doing here? My enemy isn't here! You should go to the capital to look for him!" Big Cat reminded him.

“No, my gut tells me he’s here,” Grek said.

"Are you kidding me?!" Big Cat said, displeased.

"Shh~ Don't bother me while I'm driving," Grek said.

Grek stopped on a dirt road where the paved road ended.

Greck took out his binoculars and looked into the distance.

After watching for a while, he took several landmines out of the back seat of the car. Then he took out a shovel and started digging holes in the dirt road.

"What the hell are you doing?!" Big Cat Sauce was completely baffled.

"Your country is in chaos right now, with most cities engulfed in civil unrest, while your neighboring countries are already gearing up for action, and have even sent special forces to infiltrate and sabotage."

"This area, because it is sparsely populated, has not yet been affected by the war."

"This internal strife has both internal and external factors, and it cannot be resolved in a short time. Your enemy knows this better than anyone else. Therefore, he will most likely choose to flee."

"But because of the war, many airports are no longer safe, so he wanted to move, and could only do so in a more basic way."

"And he probably wouldn't be willing to just flee to another country like this. He might pass through here. After all, this is the only section of road here that is passable by vehicles."

Greck was talking nonsense with a straight face.

After he finished digging the pit, he carefully buried several landmines inside.

He then drove to a distance and occasionally took out his binoculars to observe.

"Greek, did you use your connections to find out that guy's route? But that's impossible! He's the kind of person who's extremely cautious! Unless a trusted confidant betrayed him! How did you get the information that he was going to come here?" Big Cat Sauce was a little confused.

"So all my previous explanation was for nothing? I relied on reasoning."

"Stop talking nonsense! Tell me properly what really happened!"

“Okay, actually I deduced it using fate magic,” Grek said truthfully.

"..." Big Cat was so angry that she laughed.

"Don't think that just because you helped me evolve, I'll be grateful. I won't help you until my enemy is dead! You'd better take this seriously..."

Before Big Cat could finish speaking, a convoy of vehicles appeared on the dirt road in the distance. The convoy looked very simple, like a construction convoy.

"They're here!" Grek put away his binoculars, jumped into the jeep, stepped on the gas, and sped away.

The convoy seemed to have spotted Grek as well, but they didn't seem to care and continued along the dirt road.

Crunch, crunch, crunch~

The vehicles at the front of the convoy passed through the minefield without detonating a single mine.

However, when the vehicle in the middle of the convoy passed by, it accidentally triggered a landmine.

With a deafening roar, a truck was blown in half, its cab flying two meters into the air, while the surrounding landmines also detonated in the explosion.

The unfortunate truck was blown to pieces by the series of explosions.

"Enemy attack! Enemy attack!"

The entire convoy was thrown into chaos, with many people in plainclothes pulling out weapons from their waists and beginning to guard their surroundings.

They were surrounded by an endless plain; if there were any enemies, they would be spotted immediately. But there wasn't a soul in sight.

But they dared not drive away because they were unsure how many mines were buried there, and for a moment they appeared quite disheveled and fearful.

In the distance, Grek picked up his binoculars to observe the situation. Big Cat also saw it through vision sharing.

"Really? Was my enemy sitting in that car that got blown up? But that's too far-fetched! That guy died so easily?!" Big Cat Sauce was starting to doubt her life.

This way of dying is just like any other person dying on the street! It's not how a great person should die at all!

"Impossible! Don't try to fool me! I need to make sure my enemy is dead!" Big Cat Sauce shouted.

“If you want to be sure, you can go yourself.” Grek took out a small mouse from a cage.

Without wasting any words, Big Cat created a small clone and parasitized the little mouse.

She then controlled the little mouse, sending it rushing towards the explosion site.

A dozen minutes later, she arrived at the scene of the explosion.

There was some blood on the ground. She followed the blood trail and finally found three people covered in blood behind a truck that had a flat tire.

Two of them were already beyond dead, while the remaining bloodied person was being rescued by others.

But the blood-soaked man was clearly on his deathbed. His eyelids drooped as he observed the people around him.

"Who...who betrayed me...?"

"Chief! How could we possibly betray you! We didn't expect there to be landmines here either!" The others looked completely bewildered.

"Someone has definitely betrayed me!" the bureau chief said, forcing himself to speak. He already had a guess in his mind.

He stared at the people sitting in the lead vehicle of the convoy.

Those people turned pale with fright after being seen.

"Chief! It couldn't be us! It couldn't be us!"

The others turned to look at them.

"Why couldn't it be you! Why were your cars fine after passing by, but the chief's car exploded as soon as it went by? Did you know where the landmines were planted beforehand, so you were able to avoid them?"

"It really wasn't us! We've been wronged!"

But the others were no longer listening to their excuses.

With a few gunshots, several poor, unlucky men were executed.

"Chief, the traitor has been killed! We don't know how many enemies are still outside. We can't linger here! We need to turn back immediately!"

"..."

But by this time, the bureau chief was completely silent.

"The director? The director! The director!!!"

Upon seeing this, everyone shed crocodile tears; their chief was dead.

The little mouse watched the whole thing with disbelief in her eyes.

This is absolutely ridiculous! Did that guy, Greck, really bribe the driver of the car in front? But that doesn't make any sense!

Because those landmines were planted completely randomly. And Big Cat watched the whole thing; there weren't any markings on them at all.

So how did the vehicle in front determine where there were landmines and where there weren't?

Is it really just luck? Big Cat Sauce is starting to have doubts about life.

She went back to the explosion site and searched carefully for a long time, but found nothing.

In the end, she could only poison the rats, and incidentally, she also poisoned everyone around her.

When Big Cat returned, the director and his henchmen were all wiped out.

"Greek...did you really use magic?" Big Cat asked.

“Hmm,” Grek replied.

"What exactly is the principle behind this?" Big Cat asked with a complicated expression.

“There are no coincidences in this world. Everything happens for a reason. He just had to die when the time came, and I was just going with the flow,” Grek said.

"...That's ridiculous!" Big Cat couldn't accept it.

“Actually, I planted the landmines because I respected him too much. If it weren’t for giving you a chance to examine the body, I would have chosen a less strenuous method, like sniping,” Grek said as he started the vehicle.

Soon, his jeep disappeared at the edge of the grassland.

Shortly after Grek left, another convoy of vehicles appeared on the dirt road.

They quickly stopped at the site of the explosion. The people in the vehicle quickly got out and began to inspect the scene.

"Huh? They're already dead? We're too late!"

"Only three people were killed in the explosion; the others died instantly without any external injuries!"

"Get away! Could it be Big Cat-chan who did this?"

"What!?"

The expressions of everyone present changed, and they covered their mouths and noses and quickly retreated.

"It really could be Big Cat! Burn this place down! Everyone else, get to the nearest hospital quickly, don't get infected!"

These people threw several gasoline drums next to the bodies and then remotely detonated them.

A raging fire broke out at the scene, and in no time, the traces were charred.

Those who set the fire had long since left.

However, this scene was not witnessed by Big Cat Sauce.

Even if Greck hadn't intervened today, the bureau chief would have been doomed anyway. Greck simply brought his death forward by an hour.

And as a result, Big Cat is now indebted to him. Big Cat has now agreed to cooperate with Grek to jointly develop the evolution virus.

Grek crossed the border secretly and returned home. Then he spent several hours by plane before finally arriving back at his base.

"Ah~ I'm so tired!" Grek slumped into his office chair.

After obtaining the evolution virus sample from the lab, he rushed to the assassination site without stopping, and the entire assassination process took him a whole day.

After he rushed back, he didn't go home, but went straight to work at the hospital.

It wasn't that he was particularly dedicated; it was because he needed to wait for someone there.

Grek lay on the chair with his eyes closed, resting.

“My virus has been iterated, and I’m going to test it on you!” Big Cat said.

“Okay,” Grek said.

Then, Grek felt his body temperature rise.

"How is it? How do you feel?" Big Cat asked.

"It feels a bit like a cold, my heart rate is a little fast, that's all," Grek said.

"Hmm... but at least this virus can work on people! I'll study it some more..." Big Cat retracted the virus, and Grek's body temperature quickly returned to normal.

Just then, there was a knock on the door of Greck's office.

Grek opened his eyes and sat up straight.

"Please come in!"

The door opened, and a tall, beautiful woman in a long black dress walked in.

The moment Big Cat saw the other party, it went berserk.

"A two-headed bird! This woman is a two-headed bird! She's the one who killed my previous host!"
