Sokovia was bombed.

Strictly speaking, the city that Ultron propelled into the sky was called Novig, the capital of Sokovia. However, there was no need to be too precise about such a small place; the Avengers were already used to calling it that. As Tony activated Overdrive, the massive sky city began to crumble from its base, exploding into countless pieces of rubble.

This scene was truly spectacular.

Because they were waiting for Iron Man to return, the Quinjet's tail hatch was not closed. Miss Watson looked at the crumbling city in the distance, regretting that she had forgotten to bring her camera again.

A few minutes later, Iron Man returned to the cabin.

The roar of the engines and the sound of the wind were finally shut out, and the cabin fell silent. Everyone was exhausted after a long day of fighting and losing several comrades, and they all found the most comfortable positions to rest. Miss Watson looked left and right, then moved closer to the only woman in the cabin: "May I sit next to you?"

"Hmm, have a seat." Scarlet Witch Wanda wasn't in the mood to talk. Quicksilver Pietro's body had already been transported away for preservation. She stared at the empty cabin floor, her gaze unfocused, as if she had lost half her soul. Miss Watson didn't disturb her. She took off her helmet and picked up the gray-white kitten she had picked up from the rubble.

Her long, silvery-white hair cascaded down like a waterfall, tucked behind her ears with her fingers, revealing a beautifully shaped jawline. Her snow-white skin was adorned with tender red lips, making her look like a meticulously crafted doll. Yet, her smile slightly upturned her lips, giving her face a rare and vibrant energy.

And those captivating, jewel-like light purple eyes trembled slightly, instantly drawing Wanda's gaze.

"Meow~~~~"

The kitten was still afraid of the roaring engine and kept burrowing into my arms.

"Okay, don't be afraid."

Miss Watson picked it up, gently brushed off the dust, and lightly kissed the cat's head a few times.

"Meow~~~~~"

"You're so cute." Miss Watson pressed the kitten's belly against her face, rubbing it back and forth, enjoying the unique, comfortable feel of the animal's fur. She suddenly remembered the little gazelle she had rescued in Garamba National Park in Congo, Africa, more than a year ago. The little gazelle had been raised by Master Wang in a remote grassland; it should be all grown up by now, right?

When I get back, I'll find a chance to see it, then go to the Federation and find a good place to buy a ranch to raise the little animals I've rescued. In particular, I'll put a bunch of rabbits and wombats on the grassland, and buy a few sheepdogs that are always causing trouble... Oh right, there should also be a pond to raise little crocodiles, stinky pythons, or big dinosaurs. A certain dairy cow sister will definitely be very happy.

Sister Cow!

The silly smile froze on the corners of her mouth, and Miss Watson almost cried out.

Thankfully, I didn't shout it out.

...This cabin is way too quiet, isn't it?

She looked up and found everyone staring at her face.

"What's wrong?" Miss Watson blinked.

"Wow, really?" Tony Stark, Iron Man, walked up and looked Ms. Watson's face up and down. "You really look like this? Holy crap, this is the most beautiful sight I've seen all day. Believe me, you could totally play Snow White, and I'm pretty sure the Evil Queen's army couldn't beat you..."

“Oh, my beloved princess.” Rhodes leaned closer. Because of his previous defeat, he was still a little resentful towards Miss Watson, but now, seeing her face, all his resentment seemed to disappear, and his attitude changed swiftly and decisively: “I know I wasn’t very nice to you today. I apologize. Can you forgive me?”

Everyone burst into laughter.

"Per vulnera quae pro Christo portamus, te absolvo et dimitto."

(By the wounds we bore for Christ, I forgive and pardon your sins.)

Miss Watson extended a hand to him, her face solemn and dignified: "Frater in arms..."

Rhodes was completely stunned.

Everyone saw Miss Watson blink sharply, shake her head, and awkwardly pull her hand back: "Uh, I mean, it's okay."

"So you can speak ancient Latin."

Tony sat down opposite her: "This isn't a skill that an ordinary little girl can master."

“I don’t know, it’s just in my head, and I often can’t help but say it out loud.” Miss Watson put on a bewildered expression at the right moment. The way she frowned slightly was really endearing. At least Wanda, who was closest to her, was completely affected and reached out to pat her arm: “Hey, it’s okay.”

“You’re very sad.” Miss Watson skillfully took Wanda’s hand, her light purple eyes blinking briefly as she turned her head, switching between a carefully crafted caution and loneliness, yet still retaining a touch of innocence, just like the trembling kitten on her lap at that moment, making it hard to refuse: “Can I hug you?”

"......it is good."

Having gotten so close, Wanda felt she shouldn't reject this angelic girl.

They're both girls, so I'll let them hug me.

"Ah."

Miss Watson hugged her tightly, pressing her cheek against Wanda's ear: "Your body is so warm."

Why are you so cold?

“Is my body naturally cold?” Miss Watson said, slowly inhaling the scent of Wanda’s hair. “I’m sorry, I’ve slept for too long and I can’t remember many things. I don’t even know how I suddenly woke up.”

“I have to say, this is truly the most beautiful scene I’ve seen all day.” Steve smiled and sat down next to Tony, nodding as he spoke. “Everyone, when we get to the carrier, I’ll contact Fury to prepare some empty rooms. Please make yourselves at home. If you get hungry, feel free to come and find me and Tony.”

“You reminded me.” Tony slapped his thigh, activated his microcomputer, and walked to the cockpit. “I’ll order takeout now. I bet Fury won’t have time to clean up the mess hall on this abandoned aircraft carrier. Oh, and there’s a large group of refugees. The carrier doesn’t have enough food to last until landing. Let me see…”

"You'll get used to his style."

Steve gestured towards Tony's retreating figure: "So, do you remember anything else? Like your birthplace? Your upbringing?"

"You must be a warrior."

Thor, half-reclining in the corner, raised his hand to Miss Watson: "You might even have witch blood. Your fighting skills are outstanding even in Asgard. I saw those moves; they couldn't escape my eyes."

"What, is this also what your prophecy said?" Steve remembered that the other party had suddenly claimed to have seen some kind of future and was going to find some Fountain of True Sight to seek answers, which resulted in his absence from the Battle of Seoul. Otherwise, that battle might not have ended up like this.

“To be honest, I’m not sure.” Thor didn’t shy away, but instead looked out the window. “I did see a lot: the palace, destruction, the universe, those gems, and Jarvis… I don’t know why, but something just felt off. I’m not targeting you, man.”

He gestured with his chin toward Jarvis.

“It’s alright, sir.” Jarvis had already taken off his armor and was only wearing a tight-fitting combat suit. He had a very well-proportioned figure and looked almost identical to Vision. Even the color scheme was very similar, except that he had a blue, glowing arc reactor embedded in his chest.

rigid.

That was Ms. Watson's first impression.

Compared to Vision or Ultron, Jarvis has a strong robotic feel, with almost no change in expression, and his speech and body movements are very steady. You can sense the various logical codes running behind him, making you wonder if he has any self-awareness at all.

Ultimately, the Mind Stone was missing. Miss Watson recalled the time she briefly possessed the Mind Stone, and her consciousness was somewhat hazy. It felt like she had unlocked very familiar memories, such as how to guide and use the energy of the Infinity Stones.

Especially that one cut.

It was used directly like that.

As if she had practiced many times before, the strange feeling of energy flowing through her body still lingers in Miss Watson's mind. She is even surprised that she was willing to take the gem out of her body and return it to the Avengers.

Of course, if he hadn't returned the gem, these people would probably treat him very differently now. Especially those two wicked guys, Tony Stark and Nick Fury, who would definitely be friendly on the surface but secretly be on high alert against him.

On the other hand...

Could it be that I've had contact with Infinity Stones before?

Miss Watson felt increasingly uneasy. She had absolutely no memory of this. If she did have any, it was the memory she extracted from Thanos's head when she traveled to a parallel world and killed him.

Thanos did indeed possess several Infinity Stones at the time. Had he not suddenly intervened, he would have collected all the Infinity Stones as the movie plot unfolded, and wiped out half of all life in the universe with a snap of his fingers.

Forget it.

Hug Wanda.

"Watson?"

Steve's voice brought Miss Watson back to her senses: "Oh, what is it?"

“You said you were German before, right?” Steve pointed to the red armband on Miss Watson’s arm, carefully choosing his words: “I didn’t mean anything by it, it’s just that in my time, some Germans dressed like this… very similarly.”

“I remember this…” Rhodes joined in the fun, gesturing with his hands: “Isn’t this your magic cloak? It can even fly with you. Do you know where there are any more? I want to get one for myself too.”

“It mainly likes to be like this.” Miss Watson poked her armband, and the levitation cape emitted a wronged expression before detaching from her body and returning to its original state. Steve and Wanda stared in astonishment, while Tony from the cockpit also came over: “What is that?”

"A cloak."

“I know it’s a cloak.” Tony frowned. “This thing moves on its own? Where did it come from?”

The levitation cloak pointed at Miss Watson.

"Don't you have any?"

Miss Watson said, giving the levitation cloak a high five.

"How did you do that? What kind of technology is this? Is it magic? Thor, do you have such things in Asgard?" Tony tried to reach out and touch it, but was slapped away by the levitation cloak: "Wow, this thing has quite a temper."

"It can turn into your arm sleeve?" Steve was deeply impressed by what had just happened. "Can it turn into anything else?"

Swish.

A red flag with a white circle appeared before everyone.

The cabin was completely silent this time.

Thor wasn't familiar with World War II history, but seeing everyone else silent, he simply kept quiet as well. Miss Watson, looking bewildered, glanced at the flag, then at Steve and the others, and touched her cheek in confusion: "Oh, right, I just saw this. I have something I want to ask you."

Everyone stared at her.

Steve had a vague sense of unease.

Miss Watson's next question definitively confirmed his idea: "Who won World War II?"

Scarlet Witch Wanda jumped up from her arms in a flash.
