The entire central church area fell into a deathly silence. Even the surviving Ultron clones on the outermost edge ceased their attack, their eye cameras all focused on the vast and menacing jungle of spikes. Only Ultron continued to rise into the air, scanning the anomaly, trying to find the reason why he had lost nearly half of his forces in an instant.

Iron Man Tony Stark is also doing the same thing.

"How did this thing suddenly appear out of nowhere?"

Steve looked at the strings of robots hanging from the spikes, then couldn't help but glance down to make sure his crotch wasn't affected: "Did Watson make this?"

"No, I think it was Vlad III the Piercer of Romania."

"...Don't you ever have a serious moment?"

“No, I never need this state.” Tony’s eyes scanned the helmet’s built-in screen: “The scan shows that the ground is covered with these spiked limbs, which drilled through the soil in a very short time… No, the concrete foundation has also been destroyed. This requires a lot of strength.”

"You mean Watson turned into these spikes?"

"There's no other explanation. It couldn't possibly be Ultron's doing. In any case, let's not get any closer. Everyone, stay back. Who knows if new spikes will sprout from the ground? More than a dozen of my Iron Legion soldiers have already been stabbed."

"I think I'd better fly."

As soon as Rhodes finished speaking, the spikes in front of him swiftly retracted into the ground in perfect unison, leaving behind a trail of scattered robot wreckage. Countless metal fragments rained down from the sky, the moonlight creating delicate ripples that gently enveloped the kneeling figure at the very center.

Miss Watson lowered her head, the vibranium sword lying to one side, as if she had lost consciousness.

When the Avengers finally saw the small dot radiating golden light, they all realized what had happened—another Ultron was standing next to Miss Watson, clutching the remodeled Mind Stone scepter.

“Shxt…” Steve stared blankly, but even Tony had no interest in arguing with him at this moment.

"It's very extreme, but it's definitely effective."

Ultron's voice was broadcast through the surrounding robots. He took two steps forward, bent down to pick up the vibranium sword, and casually made the Mind Stone scepter change its form, turning it into a mechanical part and retracting it into his chest: "If you ask me, I think it's completely worth it."

"What did you do to her?! Ultron!" Steve felt a wave of powerless numbness wash over him. He bit his lip, trying to use the pain to keep himself a little more rational: "You won't turn her into a second Natasha!"

"It's alright, Captain."

Scarlet Wanda whispered, "I can wake Watson up. I did it to Dr. Helen Zhao before. I can do it, as long as I get close to Watson."

"I've already done it, haven't I?"

Noticing Miss Watson slowly rising, Ultron's rigid, mechanical face twisted into a smug expression: "Wanda, you're always so disobedient. Do you think I'll let you succeed a second time? No, I won't. You'd better believe that."

"I don't believe anything you say!" Wanda glared at him, then flicked her hands, gathering crimson energy around her.

"The worst-case scenario."

Seeing that another fight was about to break out, Iron Man immediately charged his weapon: "I can give Watson a long-range shock blast, maybe that will wake her up?"

What if she turns into a giant hedgehog again?

Rhodes objected: "We two can fly, but Steve and the others will be in danger. You know, the spikes are coming out from under their feet. Where can they hide?"

"Don't take risks."

Steve made a decision: "Tony, you and I will find a way to cover Wanda's rescue of Watson. The rest of you, continue to hold the line with the Iron Legion. Hulk..."

"Hulk!"

The Hulk finally couldn't hold back any longer, slammed his fist on the floor, and charged towards Miss Watson.

"No! Come back!" Steve had barely finished speaking when a beam of golden energy struck Hulk's chest. The Hulk's massive body flew back like a kite with a broken string, crashing heavily in front of them. The group rushed over and saw that Hulk's entire upper body was severely burned.

Even in his numerous battles against planes and missiles, the Hulk had never been in such a miserable state. Tony immediately issued a warning: "This is the power of the Mind Stone. Ultron has found a way to access it. Everyone be careful."

"You always make me hate you so much."

Ultron raised his left hand. His body was designed specifically to contain and utilize the energy of the Mind Stone. His entire arm transformed into an energy cannon, with the Mind Stone located at the core of his chest, continuously providing powerful energy support: "After I kill your friends one by one, I'll hear if you can still maintain this playboy tone."

Clap!

A hand pierced his chest from behind, clutching the gem of the soul.

Miss Watson gave Ultron no time to react, tearing his upper body in two. The energy cannon, which was about to be fully charged, went out of control, its beam piercing through several enemies in front of it before the severely damaged body collapsed to the ground.

"This is impossible!"

The surrounding Ultron robots immediately swarmed forward, but Miss Watson had already forcibly pulled the Mind Stone out. The next moment, the specially manufactured remains of Ultron exploded, and the shockwave sent the nearby Ultron robots flying.

At the very center of the explosion, Miss Watson's military princess outfit was badly damaged, but she was clearly not concerned about the state of her body. She was focused on the Infinity Stone in her palm and pressed it hard into her chest where the tentacles were surging.

Starting from her chest, the energy of the Infinity Stones rapidly spread throughout her body, golden patterns visible even on the damaged skin of her military princess suit. But these patterns quickly transformed into dense, frequent arcs of electricity, continuously pulsating across Miss Watson's skin.

"Strong fluctuations in the magnetic field ahead have been detected."

Everyone heard Jarvis utter that sentence.

"Hey! Damn it! I'm out of control!" Rhodey's armor was pulled by the magnetic force and moved involuntarily toward Miss Watson. He quickly increased the thrusters to regain control. In addition, Iron Man and Jarvis, the two metal cans, also had to do the same to avoid being pulled into the increasingly chaotic center of the magnetic field anomaly.

Tony was actually the busiest person on site. His Iron Legion robots didn't have any contingency plans for the super-strong magnetic field anomaly, so he could only edit the transmission code module immediately to save as many as he could, otherwise they would all be swept away.

And that open ammunition crate—no one bothered to close it properly, letting the weapons and ammunition inside be torn out.

“God…” Steve muttered to himself.

He saw various metal debris drifting in the air, moving slowly and gracefully like snowflakes, full of strange beauty. These objects should have belonged to the building ruins and Ultron robots on the ground, but now they were all being pulled up by magnetic force, rotating around Miss Watson.

Lightning tore through the night sky over Sokovia.

Thunder roared through the sky.

Thor remained silent, his hammer Mjolnir constantly flashing with runes and vibrating slightly, seemingly resonating with the scene before him.

"Those floating objects are accelerating!"

Wow——!

Another clap of thunder rang out, and Steve had to raise his voice: "Everyone, duck down! Don't get hit by anything!"

A mechanical head slammed into his face, but thankfully he had already raised his shield and deflected it. Everyone else quickly followed suit, except for Ultron, who continued to resist. He was unwilling to let such an accident take the Mind Stone from him. While urgently mobilizing his remaining forces, he also kept ordering his clone robots to fire at Miss Watson, trying to interrupt her increasingly violent magnetic field anomalies.

On the outskirts of Sokovia, a large number of Ultron clones that had been lying in ambush abandoned the hostages and rushed toward the central city; at the same time, many robots that had been hiding underground emerged from the ground and sped toward this place.

Nourishes—

The Ultron robot's energy cannon reached its maximum power and launched the first salvo.

Miss Watson has already floated into the air.

Gale tore at her clothes, splitting them into two wings that drooped almost at the bottom. She stretched out her arm to one side, and the PPSh submachine gun pierced through the floating metal debris, landing precisely in her palm. Meanwhile, the shield around her, woven from lightning and metal, easily blocked Ultron's barrage.

In the aircraft carrier's command center, a few kilometers away, Black Widow Natasha had just led Ultron's elite forces in a retreat. They finally had a chance to catch their breath and immediately refocused on the battlefield. Nick Fury and his crew looked at the large screen, their eyes fixed on the enlarged humanoid figure in the center.

"What does she want to do?"

Maria Hill wiped the blood from her face.

“We’ll find out soon enough.” Nick gripped the railing tightly, his face grave. “And after today, whatever the outcome, this world… will be completely changed.”

Whoosh—boom—!

"Watson needs backup!"

As hundreds of energy cannons of all sizes relentlessly bombarded Ms. Watson's shield, Steve looked at his teammates, only to be interrupted by Iron Man Tony: "The detectors show that at least 300 more Ultron robots are heading this way. I don't know how long Watson can hold out, but I suggest we prepare to engage!"

“Don’t worry, Steve.” Thor, still keeping a close eye on Miss Watson, said, “I have a feeling… Mjolnir is coming too.”

"What's coming?"

"I do not know."

"you do not know?!"

“I don’t know either!” Iron Man landed between the two: “But the magnetic field strength and energy index are rising rapidly, I think it might be a big explosion.”

"Then hide!"

In this critical moment, Steve never hesitated. He chose to trust the deductions of his highly intelligent teammates and decisively grabbed his shield and ran towards more solid cover. Meanwhile, several hundred meters away, multiple Ultron robots had already approached the outer edge of the shield, attempting to tear it apart.

Miss Watson raised the PPSh submachine gun with her left hand, turned her head a few inches toward Ultron, and then stretched her right hand into the air, drawing a gleaming Cossack saber from the surrounding swirling river of metal. She rested the butt of the PPSh submachine gun against her neck, and moved her left hand, which had been gripping the handle, forward to the barrel, as if she were about to play the weapon like a violin.

That Cossack cavalry saber naturally became a harp bow.

Ultron's thrusters were at maximum power, half his body already passing through the shield. Sparks flew as his machine, repeatedly scorched by the electric current, clashed with the PPSh-35's stock. It was too late to stop the cavalry sword's blade from striking the stock. A strange, almost glitch-like feeling welled up inside him, filled with an ominous premonition. Ultron didn't know why, yet he was driven to involuntarily utter a single word:

"No!"

Dead silence.

The blade scraped down the buttstock handguard without making a sound.

Like a shockwave compressed to its limit, it exploded outwards from Miss Watson's core, and all the metal that floated and rotated around Miss Watson shot outwards at once, carrying surging arcs of electricity, forming a spherical jet trajectory in an instant. It was so dense that all buildings, ground, and Ultron robots within the range became targets.

Further away, the Iron Legion robots lost their wires and collapsed to the ground.

The empty square was quiet and peaceful.

The dust was completely blown away, even the wispy clouds in the Sokovia night sky had dispersed, and the gentle moonlight remained as always. Only the constantly falling debris told the story of what had just happened. The scene almost froze in time, imprinted in everyone's eyes, leaving behind an elegant yet solitary figure.
