The old lady was deeply moved. She took Sun Xue's hand and insisted on writing her an IOU.

"Grandma Liu, why write an IOU? How could I not trust you? Your family's affairs are my affairs. There's no rush to pay back the money. I'll pay it back slowly after my brother starts working at my company."

Sun Xue chuckled, "Grandma Liu, you don't need to be so polite. Who knows, we might become family someday. This little favor is nothing."

Grandma Liu was taken aback, then squinted and smiled shyly.

She understood what Sun Xue meant; she also longed to become family with such a sensible girl.

She met Old Man Sun two years ago. They both came from rural areas, were both kind-hearted, and were both widowed in middle age.

Hearing the noise, Xiaodouzi came out of the kitchen, wiped her wet hands on her apron, and called out with a smile, "Sister, you're back."

"Little Bean, don't cook anymore, let's go out to eat."

Tiger, who was standing next to her, grinned happily and said, "Great, great, sister, I love eating out the most."

Clever little Douzi saw Grandma Liu and immediately understood what was going on. He took Hu Zi's hand and replied, "Sister, I'll finish cooking soon. You, Grandpa, and Grandma Liu can go eat. My brother and I will eat at home, otherwise the food will go to waste."

Tiger pouted, "No, I want to eat outside."

Little Bean dragged Tiger into the kitchen, poked his head out, winked at Sun Xue, and smiled:

"Sister, don't rush back after dinner. I heard the temple fair is very lively tonight. Why don't you take Grandpa and Grandma to the temple fair?"

She turned to Grandpa Sun and said, "Grandpa, go and change into your best clothes. We're leaving right away."

Old Man Sun went inside to change his clothes, while Grandma Liu sat down on the sofa to chat.

Just then, Tiger and Little Bean came out of the kitchen carrying food. Seeing Old Man Sun in his new clothes, Little Bean couldn't help but praise him:

"Grandpa, you look energetic and young."

Tiger placed the food on the table, stared blankly at Old Man Sun, frowned, and asked earnestly:

"Grandpa, why are you dressed like a groom on TV? Are you getting married?"

Everyone was amused by Tiger's words, and Old Man Sun's face flushed red. "Tiger, what nonsense are you talking about?"

Tiger looked bewildered, not understanding what everyone was laughing at. He looked at Grandma Liu and asked seriously:

"Grandma Liu, you're not planning to marry my grandpa, are you? And then you and my sister are secretly going out for a fancy meal?"

Grandma Liu blushed when Tiger asked her question, and Little Bean quickly came to her rescue. He pulled Tiger to sit down at the table and said, "Tiger, don't talk nonsense, hurry up and eat."

He instructed Sun Xue, "Sister, you should hurry up and head out. It's almost Chinese New Year, and if you go too late, you won't be able to book a hotel room."

Sun Xue quickly went out and drove around to bring the two elderly people to a well-known hotel in Jinan City.

Grandma Liu got out of the car and looked up at the luxurious hotel under the night sky. She whispered to Sun Xue, "Xiao Xue, we don't need to go to such a high-class place. Let's just eat something at a restaurant."

"Let's go, this is a token of my granddaughter's affection," Old Man Sun said with a smile.
