We have officially decided to establish the Pokémon League in the Alola region!

At the same time, the Alola region's Pokémon League tournament will also be held!

"My goodness, our Alola region is finally going to have its own Pokémon League."

As soon as Dr. Kukui finished announcing this important news, the audience erupted in a flurry of camera shutters, pens scratching on notebook paper, and chattering amongst themselves.

Not only were the reporters present and the viewers watching the live stream in the studio astonished, but even Lillie and Principal Oki were incredibly surprised.

"This is truly amazing news! Rockruff, Gengar, and Mothora! It would have been a great loss if they hadn't come today, Mankey, Metalgist, and Manta Ray!" said Principal Oak.

After some discussion, Dr. Kukui raised his hand to signal everyone to be quiet, and then continued speaking.

"The rules for this inaugural Pokémon League tournament are very simple: the champion will be determined by skill, and the strongest trainer will be crowned."

More importantly, not just anyone can become the first Alola League champion.

All the trainers and Pokémon participating were of one mind, giving their all in battle against their opponents, exchanging blows and honing their skills – that is the true value.

Having the opportunity to see the contestants compete and learn from each other is truly a thrilling and captivating experience.

We believe that the passionate battles presented by all the trainers will bring dreams, hope, and inspiration to many.

Next, let's welcome our guests who share my views to the stage.

They are, respectively, Mr. Hala, King of the Island; Mr. Merdan; Miss Liz, Queen of the Island; and Miss Hapuu.

Also, there's Ash, the representative of the Pokémon League headquarters, the top prosecutor of the Pokémon Inspection Bureau, a six-time champion, and one of the founders of the Alola League, just like me!

Let's welcome them to the stage!

As soon as Dr. Kukui finished speaking, a deafening roar of shouts, thunderous applause, and deafening cheers and screams erupted from the audience.

Ash and his friends didn't make their entrance by walking onto the stage. Instead, a lift was installed on the stage beforehand, and a guest seat was placed on the lift.

The five people sat around Ash in the guest area, and as the elevator went up, they came into view.

This made the crowd even more excited, and they clapped even more enthusiastically, cheering even louder.

Ash, sitting in the center, raised his hand to signal everyone to be quiet, then turned his gaze to Hala beside him.

Hala immediately pointed the microphone from the table in front of him at himself and said seriously,

"First of all, we would like to thank Dr. Kukui for his inspiring speech just now."

Our King and Queen of the Islands were moved by this passion, and thus decided to do their utmost to support the Alliance's efforts in organizing the event.

As you all probably know, we in the Alola region have a wonderful tradition passed down through generations: island trekking.

However, some customs have been abandoned.

That means the trainers who have completed the island pilgrimage will battle at the summit of Mt. Lanakira.

"We believe this is the most appropriate way to determine the first Alola champion," Liz added.

"Simply put, Professor Kukui and Ash restarted this tradition and improved it so that anyone can participate freely," Mordan said.

"This way, trainers and Pokémon who want to improve their skills together can simply compete based on their abilities."

"I really hope that such a competition can be held," Hapwu said.

"To ensure fairness and impartiality in this competition, our Island Kings and Island Queens will also attend as referees," Liz said.

“I am also very pleased to have the opportunity to participate in this grand event,” said Hapwu.

“Everyone has said enough, so I won’t say anything more,” said Merdan.

"Pokémon battles allow both trainers and Pokémon to grow, and both sides can improve through friendly competition."

"I hope the Pokémon League in the Alola region can become a place where I can learn something," Hala said.

Amidst the expectant gazes of the crowd, Xiao Zhi, seated in the center, took the microphone from the shelf on the table in front of him, then slowly stood up, walked to the podium, and began to speak into the microphone.

"Ladies and gentlemen, thanks to the fervent expectations of the people of the Alora region,

I, Ash, on behalf of the Pokémon League Headquarters, will do my utmost to help establish the Alola League.

And we fully support the successful hosting of this inaugural Alola League tournament.

Following the direction Xiao Zhi pointed, everyone turned their attention to the large screen on the stage, which was showing a construction site on a snow-capped mountain.

It was a huge building, the venue, which was under construction at a rapid pace, covering a very large area and scale.

While everyone was still amazed by the video, Xiao Zhi spoke up at the opportune moment, explaining...

"As you can see, this is the main arena for the Alola League tournament, located atop Mount Lanakira on Ula Ula Island in the Alola region."

This will also be the location of the future headquarters of the Alola League.

I named it Manaro Stadium, so this inaugural Alola League tournament will also be called the Alola League Manaro Tournament.

Although the project is not yet completed, we hope to make it a dream stage symbolizing the Pokémon League of the Alola region.
