"Sister Azhi?" Yan Sheng called her several times, but she did not respond.

Was Ah Yan calling her just now?

It wasn't until the young boy tugged at her sleeve and shook it a few times that she came back to her senses. Fragmented memories tore her apart, then rose and fell like the tide.

She finally understood why she had been saying such strange things. It was because she had transmigrated here.

The sight of the boy's head horrified her.

She simply couldn't believe that the person who had braved the rain to help her treat a spotted pig could be so cruel...

For Xu Zhi, who only has modern memories, the fact that Li Xian is the son of Li Si is undoubtedly a horror story.

He became involved with Li Si at the end of the Qin Dynasty. This is more terrifying than the most tragic and horrific stories.

"Sister Azhi?"

Xu Zhi was startled awake by his voice and looked at the boy in front of her. "Excuse me, what did you just say?"

Don't you like my new name?

"A new name?"

"Yes."

At this moment, Wu Guang handed Xu Zhi a wet handkerchief. Xu Zhi took it and naturally wiped the dirt off Yan Sheng's face, just like they had done two or three months ago on the ridge of the field.

"What's your new name? Why do you suddenly have a new name?" she asked.

"Sister, do you remember? I didn't want to tell you and brother about my father before. Because I always thought he didn't want me anymore..."

“But that’s not how it is. Father’s friend came and brought back some of Father’s things,” Yan Sheng said, taking out a short sword with a copper pommel from his bosom. He pursed his lips and stroked the character “Sheng” on the sword with his fingers. “Uncle Zhong said that Father said he would give me this sword when I turn ten.”

“Sister Azhi, I was almost captured too, but that day, I was saved by an uncle named Shuzhong.”

"...I saw that the people sent by the imperial court were all wearing black armor...Uncle Zhong rushed out from among them and saved me, but his own fate is unknown..."

Yan Sheng's voice choked slightly as he spoke, "...He told me to leave Lingcheng, and that he would find a way to help my aunt's family. He said he was sure he could get the high-ranking official who arrested them to release them. But...but it's been three or four days and there's still no news..."

He took a deep breath and looked at Xu Zhi. "He is my father's good friend. My father gave birth to me, and Uncle Zhong gave me a second life. So from now on, I can also take the surname Chen."

Chen, Chen Shuzhong.

Uncle Chen.

Win.

Chen Sheng?

Chen Sheng!

Then her nightmare gradually became clearer, and the splattered blood even took on color. She was horrified to discover that the mangled corpse in her dream was Li Xian, who had been cut in half at the waist.

And so, the bizarre scene unfolded.

The young man named Chen Sheng pleaded earnestly, his bright eyes fixed on the Qin princess. He banged his head on the ground, begging her, Wu Guang, and the Xiang clan to help him rescue his family from Lingcheng.

Those who came with Wu Guang included not only members of the Xiang clan, but also one of their influential figures.

The man was leading an extremely beautiful black horse. He said cheerfully, "Young lady, don't be afraid. My master said that as long as we are in trouble in Chu, we are all family."

But the group was discovered not far away.

This time, they were discovered not by ordinary Qin people, nor by people from the Secret Pavilion, but by a number of iron-hoofed brown horses.

That was a well-trained army.

"Oh no! We've run into the Marquis of Longxi retreating from Kuaiji!" "These are Li Xin's men from the Southern Army!"

In the midst of the chaos, the man summoned his horse.

The body's memory allowed Xu Zhi to quickly mount the horse and rein in it.

But the exceptionally beautiful, jet-black horse was completely beyond her control and wouldn't obey her commands no matter what she did.

Just as she was trying to force the horse to turn around, a whistle suddenly sounded!

The fighting not far away has subsided.

Just as the horse was about to throw Xu Zhi off, her arm was firmly grabbed.

The horse's owner tried to get her back in the saddle, but the black horse swayed its body, clearly not wanting Xu Zhi to ride it.

Xu Zhi had no choice but to roll over and get down.

To her surprise, the moment her feet touched the ground, a crossbow was handed to her.

"I heard from Uncle Wu that the young lady is very good at archery. Come on, give it a try."

The owner of the black horse was tall and robust, but he was the youngest among the Xiang family's heroes.

Although he laughed heartily, his words left no room for refusal.

After Xu Zhi remembered some things, her old habit resurfaced; her paranoia kicked in, and she took it as a test.

She thought that if they really found out that she was not a royal princess of Chu, but the wife of a Qin official, then she would be doomed.

The crossbow was aimed at a Qin guard lying on the ground, barely alive, not far away.

Eyes facing each other.

A difference in thought.

A close call.

She fired the crossbow three times, but the arrows all went into the grass.

He didn't think much of it. Seeing that she actually fired the arrow, he assumed it was just Old Wu's flattery. Seeing that Xu Zhi was beautiful and had a sickly look on her face, he assumed she was just an ordinary noblewoman.

He lifted a corner of his robe and swiftly wiped the blood off his longsword. He then wrapped the sword and blade with a coarse cloth and tried to help her down.

"Haha, young lady, don't hurt yourself."

As soon as she finished speaking, the horse indeed threw Xu Zhi off.

"I'm sorry you had to see this." Xu Zhi smiled sheepishly.

"Don't be afraid, I'll hold your hand for you."

"This horse is very good, but it has a terrible temper."

"Alas, it was I who did it. My father acquired this fine osprey to present to the young master of our master, but who knew that this horse has such a fierce temperament? We will need to hire a good horse trainer."

As he spoke, Long Qi patted the black horse.

At Yan Sheng's request, the heroes upheld their commitment to helping others to the very end.

Along the way, Long Ju and Wu Guang were talking about a man who had saved so many innocent people unrelated to the 'meteorite event' in a very short time.

Xu Zhi heard their praise for this man. They thought he was incredibly resourceful, strategic, and insightful in observing celestial phenomena, comparable to the emperor's divine tutor.

"West of Lingcheng, bordering the Yangtze River, stands a steep cliff with a harsh climate, and has always been an uninhabited place. Near the water at the foot of the cliff is a Moon Cave. Look, Madam Xu, whenever the water rises and the sun shines on the cave entrance, it looks like a full moon." Wu Guang spoke with a tone of pride.

"Finding such a mountain valley within the territory of Lingcheng is not easy; it requires the person in charge to be very familiar with this place."

"Indeed, young lady, look at this endless plank road, with wooden ladders going up and down. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that our strategist is the leader of the Mohist school."

They led her to a cabin.

"Madam Xu may see the strategist, but we have rules. Please understand."

As Xu Zhi went upstairs, according to the local custom, her eyes were covered with a black cloth.

After taking a few steps, the woman led her to a pavilion where she sat down.

Several images flashed through her mind: the two people were Zheng Guo and Crown Prince Dan on the palace road of Qin.

She heard a voice, but it was indistinct and she couldn't make it out clearly.

“It was no easy task for you, sir, to find this place for us. We cannot let you down.”

Zigui Military Manual and Precious Sword Gorge:

Located in Yichang, Hubei Province, next to Yiling.

There are two legends associated with this section of the canyon: one involving Zhuge Liang, and the other involving Zhang Liang.

One account says that Zhuge Liang wrote a book based on his life's military experience. Once, he fell seriously ill and, seeing that no one around him was qualified to pass it on, and fearing that future generations would simply absorb the book and blindly follow it in battle, thus clinging to the old wisdom, he chose a strategic location and placed the book on a difficult-to-climb cliff, so that a talented person in the future could retrieve it.

Another theory is that during the Chu-Han Contention at the end of the Qin Dynasty, Liu Bang had a strategist named Zhang Liang. Zhang Liang was well-versed in military strategy and resourceful. In the Battle of Gaixia, he annihilated Xiang Yu's elite troops. Xiang Yu fled alone to the Wujiang River and committed suicide. Thus, Chu fell and Han rose. After Zhang Liang's death, he hid his military books and sword here.

According to records, Wang Guozhou, the prefect of Yazhou (present-day Ya'an, Sichuan) during the Tang Dynasty, saw something resembling a coffin on a cliff while passing through the gorge. He sent people to climb up and investigate, and found that the skeleton inside the coffin was still intact. Therefore, it was also known as "Iron Coffin Relic" or Iron Coffin Gorge. In modern times, herbalists have also entered a stone cave on the mountaintop and retrieved artifacts such as a bronze sword from the coffin, further confirming that the so-called military treatise was actually a relic of the ancient Ba people's rock coffin burial.

Opposite to the "Military Manual and Sword" is a cave under the cliff at the mouth of the gorge. When the wind blows, dust leaks into the cave through the holes in the rock, like grain that has been piled up for years. It is said to be the granary where Zhuge Liang stored grain, hence the name "Rice Granary Gorge".
