Another World: My life is on the hook!

This time it's truly over, and the story of this series can now come to a perfect end.

With nearly six million words and more than three years of arduous work, it has finally come to an end. If we include the Loli Mage, it is already a super long novel of more than seven million words.

To be honest, when I wrote the words "the end," I felt more of a sense of relief.

At the very beginning.

Xianyu just wanted to write a Western fantasy love story, about a similar flower, a wait that spans a thousand years, and how two lovers finally become a couple after going through all sorts of hardships and live happily ever after.

This was the initial plan.

However, when ideals and fate come one after another, by the later part of the previous book, Xianyu could no longer control the direction of each character. This is actually a kind of immaturity in writing, but it can also be said that Xianyu's heart was resisting that kind of perfect ending, because sometimes the hardship and wandering may not bring happiness, but more suffering.

Therefore, the previous book ended in an unsolvable dead end.

Longtime readers of Xianyu's books should know that the previous book had a long break at the end because Xianyu was also struggling with how to conclude the story.

So Xianyu started writing the book "Another World".

The original intention of this book was simply to give the previous book a true ending and to witness the events that followed from another perspective.

However, to my surprise, the book became unexpectedly popular after it was released, which was beyond my expectations.

Of course, it's not popular anymore, haha.

But actually, in the early stages, before I laid out too much, I could have written this book as an independent story, a new beginning, a new world, a new adventure, and then ended in quirky fun, ultimately becoming a silly and joyful book that you can flip through when you have nothing else to do on your bookshelf.

But I still can't forget it.

I have a violet, which represents eternal love.

I have a moon orchid, which represents silent waiting.

I want to give this story an ending.

I want all those hardships and displacements to stand the test of time.

That's how this book came about.

Do you remember what the salted fish said at the end of the last book? If there is an extra chapter... then this is the extra chapter. I used six million words to give him an ending.

Of course, putting aside the previous book, in this book, Lynn has a new life, new experiences, and new things that he needs to protect. He grows step by step on this long journey, witnessing and accompanying me through these three and a half years.

But how to say it.

Xianyu actually lacks the ability and experience to write long novels, which made this book extremely bloated, especially in the middle, where it dragged on too much and caused the book to lose many readers.

Of course, the frequent small letters every three days and large letters every five days, along with numerous experiences of being sent to the "black room" (a form of detention or reprimand), were also a reason...

What does what Lynn did have to do with me, a lazy bum? Ahem.

It's already a miracle that we've survived this long. Those who remember should recall that there were many times when the books were taken down, which meant we were imprisoned. Each time we were imprisoned, the number of readers and traffic were halved. What we see now is the censored version, without so much excessive content. Even a slacker wouldn't dare to do that anymore.

But anyway.

This is still Xianyu's first super long novel.

(Actually, I can still keep writing. With a little more effort, I might be able to challenge for the most words on Tomato, cough cough.)

As for future plans, Xianyu hasn't really thought about them yet. In the past two years, he tried to write two books, but in the end, they all fell through. On the one hand, it was because of laziness, and on the other hand, it was because he couldn't meet expectations and couldn't find a new story or setting that could catch people's attention.

So this time, Xianyu might take a break for a while, but there might also be a bonus chapter~
